What happened when you tried to update via the LG tool or KDZ tool? I am assuming you tried following the directions in this thread.

yes i did everything step by step on that thread but my baseband is still corrupted
You probably know this already, but older sim cards have also been known to cause issues.
Hi,
I've updated to ICS lately on my SHV-E120L device. I have a few problems with that software, though. All I wanna do at the moment is to downgrade back to gingerbread, which was originaly installed.
I've been searching very long for a download of odin flashable .tar.md5 file, but with no success. Can anyone help me find this file? I'm really desperate. Having searched for many hours I'm really tired of this.
Thanks in advance... :fingers-crossed:
So ive searched the web and here and couldnt find the answer to my question but i recently got a replacement nexus 5 and it hasnt recieved the ota for 5.1. I was trying to find out why? I got it right before 5.1 was released so i understood why i didnt get 5.0 but still no dice, i understand i can sideload it myself but ive had issues with that before. Any help is appreciated.
first off... there is no 5.1 yet, second off you will get OTA after some time or side load the update details in the forum easily searchable, and thirdly question in the questions forum.
Hi guys
About two month ago i rooted my HTC One M8, but after few days when lollipop came to my phone, i couldn't install it, because my phone was rooted, so i tried to unroot it, but suddenly i deleted my OS from bootloader, i tried many times to run to my os, but my phone weren't running.
Is there any one here to help me reinstall it on my phone, please guys answer me soon, its making me crazy.
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Which variant of the M8 do you have please?
No response in two days, thread closed.
So a while ago my phone was in the workshop, after that i've noticed that it has a MDF v1.0 release 2 in it as a security software...
The problem is that it wont update to Lollipop 5.0.1 now, I've tried to install it Over The Phone(you know the message you get when it is a new firmware update) at first, but it fails when it comes to the update screen.
I've tried via Kies, and i don't get it. It doesn't work...
Also my phone restarts itself automaticly sometimes...
Thank you for the help, I appreciate it!:fingers-crossed:
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. If you're rooted or made any system changes the update won't work. For specific help you can ask here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192886. Also see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4
