update from europe (d80010q currently) - AT&T LG G2

Any way to get OTA update from another country? I'm on d80010q firmware currently. While trying I get "device is not registered" or something like that.

no idea on the changelog but it's MJ6 with baseband MJ4 - got the update OTA yesterday. Guess that blows rooting the phone tho as it'll have updated the bootloader from what I've read elsewhere here.
Dave
not too fussed about root as i don't really need it ATM, just glad we got an update as i normally get unbranded phones, this is the first EE phone and previously when with TMobile they took ages to update..

How can I get nougat on my NXT-L09C636B191? Firmware finder app doesn't work.

Just trying to somehow get nougat without rooting or anything. Firmware finder shows an OTA available for L09C636B593 but I can't get it to go into updater.
This is a good question because I'm in the same boat
same to you

About the only way I've seen so far, is to load twrp, screw around with other files, load a custom rom.
Until the rom shows up via the stock updater, or, the firmware finder app shows something that says
FULL and not OTA or FullOTA, you and the rest of us are stuck until Huawei officially releases it.
It's not that bad of a deal though, 6 for me anyway is VERY stable.
I agree it's stable but one of the reasons I bought a huawei phone was they are supposed to be the first to update to new versions and here I am still waiting. I thought Samsung was bad but guess what the s7 is already on android 7 and I'm not.
I think I'll be going back to Samsung soon as the note 8 comes out.

from L09C636b210 you can update via Firmware Finder to L09C636b521. Then go to System Update and you will see L09C636b563 update available. I recommend DOWNLOAD LATEST FULL PACKAGE from the pull down menu.
The update came for me, but not through firmware finder. Mine came through the built in update program
in the phone.
Mine was L29C185B180, then I got 321 through firmware finder, but it never would update. When I saw someone
post that 560 came through, I tried firmware finder, never had anything, but when I checked the Huawei update
app and it showed up.
I uninstalled the firmware finder app. Nice idea, but didn't work for me.

No OTA on stock

So I'm finally ready to say goodbye to my H8 but after relocking the bootloader ,rolling back and dloading B360 for the L09 i am unable to get OTAs.
I thought i could simply flash another version from FF but all that did is allow me to update through HiSuite.
Plus it (HiSuite) always says I'm on a developer version.
Could anyone guide me to a proper L09 stock version that i can dload or anything else that would help?
I think I've had the problem before but I can't remember what I did to fix it other than maybe downgrading to MM.
But dloading the same file after that seems kind of pointless.

I Had That Problem When I Rebranded.
All You Have To Do Is Use " Get An Update Through DNS" In Firmware Finder And Now I Had The Latest Version.
And Then While I Did That I Suddenly Started To Get Updates Without Firmware Finder
Oh And Also How To Get To Stock:

Well the issue is i did both of those and neither allowed me to get official OTAs.
I want to sell the device as long as its worth something so this is rather important for that
But the rollback files i used are quite old so maybe its a wrong version or something.
But I did update through the FF proxy, same thing.no luck
Edit: i did the proxy update so maybe thats the culprit, but isnt it just downloading the same version as the dns one?

Which fw you were trying to install. I do not understand how you can not install eg B380 because it is point version and approved install over dload. What about unlock bootloader and flash fw over twrp?

I can install it but not over official OTA.
Also i saw i asked the same question on your other thread and apparently downgrading to MM fixed it last time.
So sorry,i forget things easy
I will try that
Tried it again with the official Rollback package and MM firmware.
Got the OTA to B360 and now, no OTA again...
Anyone have any suggestions?

[Q] FF Updates Info

Hi guys, thank you for coming to this thread. I searched a lot but wasn't able to find what i was looking for, so i started this thread. Sorry if there is something like that anywhere. However i wish to ask you a question about the updates avaible on firmware finder. The situation is that in firmware finder there's an update (B402) that without imei control tells me "Firmware approved for installation for model FRD-L09C32..." but with imei control tells me "Firmware not approved for installation". What is the question? Here we go: Can i install manually the update with locked bootloader and unrooted phone (with proxy or dns)? If yes, then i will be able to receive future OTA updates if i do that? Thank you very much

Until it's approved with IMEI, you can't.
Just wait for your turn (IMEI batch)
