Looking for the the stock firmware or even the firmware # for N8010 Canadian version. Even the ICS would be good. Any help would be appreciated.

Would be nice if someone can post the 4.0.4 too.
Hello I'm currently on the 15.3.A.0.26 update. As far as I know Sony released an update on their 4.2.2. Is it worth updating? Because I got a custom kernel so I cannot download the rom from the update center.
Thanks.
All upon you. Yes, there are don't bugs like the proximity sensor bug but those can be easily fixed. Yeah, camera has also improved a bit. Not much changes though, if you're satisfied with your kernel I don't recommend you to update.
Your choice to be honest.
I have a question.
Im using stock 0.26 with thunderzap 3.1 kernel. rooted BL unlocked, of course.
But just now Update center notified me of the 1.12 update is available. Its just 40MB
Can I update it through the air and then reflash thunderzap? I wont lost any data and apps, right?
edit: just realized I would also have to reroot, right? but its no problem, riiight?

Hi. I have cyanogenmod 11 on my samsung note 3 (sm-n9005) and would like to install the stock 4.4.2 frimware... How can I do that? I can not find the firmware for my n9005xxudmj7... Or can I just download any firmware and use that? I am from Norway.
And then I would like to install the x-note 13 rom. That I can not do now because of the old bootloader on cyanogenmod 11.

I tend to go for a generic ROM, so if there isn't one for your country then that's what I'd look for.

Now I have stock rom 4.4.2 and no root. Not shure if I dare to do more on my phone... Maybe I should stay with the stock android. But if I know myselfe well I most sertanly will do something with my phone. One thing I think is rare is that when booting it dont show that the knox is tripped... how come? It just start like it came from the factory.
Find a Stock ROM from Sammobile and split, then flash it with Odin. Find a detailed guide.

Hey guys,
So I'm running a stock S7 (AT&T) and have read tons of threads about how to fix battery drain, etc etc. And I'm not finding any great result.
I've tried different debloats and dumbing down lots of system settings, but haven't found that sweet spot yet. I know disabling some things can end up causing further drain, so maybe I'm doing it wrong.
Has there been any definitive solution to fixing the Android System drain? Mine is constantly 30% or more drain at the end of the day.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Firmware . Mostly older firmwares like apc8 or apf2.

API2 has an updated bootloader. You can't downgrade to any other version of the AT&T firmware unless it's Bootloader 4... This is what I meant when I said "You can't go back."

Stay on stock for awhile and try not to take any OTAs. There are multiple complaints about the latest updates causing a lot of battery drain.

I also have a 930A , just dont update the bootloader , that is BL in odin . Rest you can install the latest using odin . People have been paying 15$ and buying AT&T updates from the persian site . Check S7 At&t forums
Here's the latest firmware for the G930A if you need it

Looks like this one came on APE1. Should I stick with it and not update at all or what? Phone is unrooted.

You are on May update
to update download from link posted before
then use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039 to go back to stock
Do exactly as its in this but change AP , CP and CSC as per new downloaded file .
You will be then on unrooted API2 but it has Android system battery drain

I'm not rooted at the moment... Wouldn't it just be easier to accept the OTA update?
I exchanged my device for a new one already.

OTA can be taken but that would upgrade your BL to 4 , then you are stuck on API only

Ah, so the idea is to update without updating the bootloader, huh?
Is there any way to do this without root?
Sorry, man... I'm a complete noob and haven't rooted a phone in a while.

1 . yes
2. All without root only
3. Gave you all the links /Guide earlier
No requirement of rooting in this anywhere . Just using odin

Ah, alright. Thanks a lot, man. I'll do this when I get home. I keep getting pesky update requests!
I read everything over and i see what you're talking about. Download and flash all updates besides the BL which is the bootloader... But I'm trying to get away from the battery drain. Should I flash a previous firmware instead of the current for better battery life?
Also, what's the big benefit of having an older bootloader? So you can upgrade and downgrade at will?
