Hi everyone,
I have update my rooted Nexus 7 2013-LTE using the method described here:

successfully. I used SuperSU and Xposed framework was temporarily uninstalled. However, when I tried the same procedure to update to 4.4.4, following errors are appearing:
file "/system/bin/debuggerd" doesn't have any of expected sha1 sums; checking cache
failed to stat "/cache/saved.file": No such file or directory
failed to load cache file
script aborted: "/system/bin/debuggerd" has unexpected contents.

Installation aborted.
It seems that file debuggerd is somehow changed (my guess by stickmount app). Is it correct that I have to replace the one installed in my /system/bin/ with the original one to continue updating to 4.4.4? Does anyone have the original debuggerd file nexus 7 2013-lte 4.4.3?

Trying to flash my aosp rom to test it, but my updater script is funking up every time...
The recovery log shows that there is an unexpected symbol/character...then syntax errors. I know it boils down to me using a text editor to edit these files. I have used nano, TextEdit, and Text Wrangler (on mac), all to no different result.
I'm officially stuck. Help?

edit: if i use the updater-script from a cyanogenmod nightly (unedited) I get no errors...Am I using the wrong editor?
So, in a stroke of pure genius, I found the solution. Edit with Eclipse, problem solved. Hope this helps someone

I included the .img as an attachment if you haven't already.
What recovery? Philz?
Its because legacy environment is disabled and your zip has an old update-binary
If its philz, I can't remember, but is there an option to use old updater environment?
Thanks all! Got it working, it was the bootloader. But now I'm noticing something quirky about 5.0 there's something referred to as miscellaneous that's killing the battery. Anybody know what this is about?

iam getting the below specified error while updating the Rom cm-13.0- NIGHTLY-otus to cm-14.1-20161216-NIGHTLY-otus on Motorola E 2015 3G.
