Trying to flash my aosp rom to test it, but my updater script is funking up every time...
The recovery log shows that there is an unexpected symbol/character...then syntax errors. I know it boils down to me using a text editor to edit these files. I have used nano, TextEdit, and Text Wrangler (on mac), all to no different result.
I'm officially stuck. Help?

edit: if i use the updater-script from a cyanogenmod nightly (unedited) I get no errors...Am I using the wrong editor?
So, in a stroke of pure genius, I found the solution. Edit with Eclipse, problem solved. Hope this helps someone

So I've been dealing with a rather unstable ROM for the past little while and have been struggling to install the newest nightly or stable build through CWM.
For some reason I am getting an error, and while at first I thought it was a bad .zip, or the location of it on my device - it has turned out to be a problem regardless of my many attempts to troubleshoot those possibilities. I have tried to toggle verification on/off, I have wiped all the data/cache/dalvik.. nothing is doing the trick.
Here's a dump of the log.

I:Can't partition non mmcblk device: /devices/platform/msm_sdcc.1/mmc_host/mmc0
I searched around for some of those log descriptions and also haven't come across many solutions. I have an HTC One S if that matters, but I think the problem is general enough that device is not the issue.
I had been able to flash a rom before with no issue, I went from a nightly Cyanogen to a Stable which ironically was much more buggier.
I am hoping that there is something I can do to resolve this that doesn't rely on me having to use a PC - since I am at work without my personal computer and I have all the files on my phone at the moment along with access to the file manager.
Thanks in advance!

I tried to download the OTA today after not receiving it, and whenever I try to flash it I get an error reading
Code:

How do I fix this?
Hi everyone,
I have update my rooted Nexus 7 2013-LTE using the method described here:
liliputing.com/2014/06/upgrade-nexus-android-4-4-3-without-losing-root.html
successfully. I used SuperSU and Xposed framework was temporarily uninstalled. However, when I tried the same procedure to update to 4.4.4, following errors are appearing:
file "/system/bin/debuggerd" doesn't have any of expected sha1 sums; checking cache
failed to stat "/cache/saved.file": No such file or directory
failed to load cache file
script aborted: "/system/bin/debuggerd" has unexpected contents.

It seems that file debuggerd is somehow changed (my guess by stickmount app). Is it correct that I have to replace the one installed in my /system/bin/ with the original one to continue updating to 4.4.4? Does anyone have the original debuggerd file nexus 7 2013-lte 4.4.3?
Thx u
