Solution -1
-On Your Phone Home Screen, Tap the Menu Key.
-Then Tap Settings.
-Then Tap Call Settings (aka call, Phone, or Phone Settings).
-Tap Reject With Message (aka Ignore With Message).
Now check that how many default messages are there on this list. If you have more than 5, Then delete some messages until you have left with less then 5.
Solution-2
- On the Home Screen of your phone, Press Menu
- Now Tap Settings
- Now Tap Applications
- Tap Manage Applications
- Now at the Top, Tap the All tab
- Now Navigate to and tap your equivalent of the phone app (may be called phone or dialer)
- Tap Clear Cache and Clear Data as available
- Now Turn Your Phone off, then back on.
Now check that the problem still exists. If yes, then in addition to clear the cache from phone app clear cache & data for contacts. Also, try to force close the following applications under running services.
- Google Service Framework
- Contacts
- Gmail
- Calendar
- All other mail & social media services (like facebook etc.)
This error is because of sync problem with Google services like Mail, Contacts, Calender etc. These solutions are a common fix before doing the factory reset. (Before doing factory reset read the other solution and decide that you are ready for factory reset.)
also if you are rooted go to recovery mode and select
wipe data factory reset
and wipe cache
in advanced wipe dalvik cache
and reboot

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's actually running unless you enabled the KNOX security feature. I'd like a definitive answer as well, but I'm guessing it's not active.
Hi, yes. Go to settings>applications>application manager> all , then scroll down until you see 'smart manager provider'. Go into that and manage storage, then clear data and clear cache. When you now open the smart manager app it will show the device security as deactivated. Discovered it myself after not finding any info on the Internet about disabling it.

You can disable that Samsung idiotic protection using Package Disabler Pro (it cost about 2 bucks, probably you can find it cracked somewhere).
Open Package Disabler Pro, search for "com.samsung.android.sm.devicesecurity", now you can disable it or if you don't want to disable it for whatever reason you have just click on it and after that a pop-up will appear on your screen with some options, just click on clear data.
Go to settings>applications>application manager> all , then scroll down until you see 'com.samsung.android.sm.devicesecurity'.
Go into that, then Force stop the app. Then, go to manage storage, then clear data and clear cache.
Now the integrated virus protection from Smart Manager is disabled
I've found this solution by myself.

If that is not relevant, why you ask then? It is a solution if you backup your device. Don't bother to reply, it's not relevant.....

Many thanks for this thread. Had a false positive by the malware scanner (androidlost) that has been nagging with it'S warning and orange overlay counter over the settings button.
Just opened the app list and deleted the data of com.samsung.android.sm.devicesecurity.
This worked well. Thank you for your help.
I dont have com.samsung.android.sm.devicesecurity on my s8
How can I fix it
I've enabled system applets but I have nothing

Keep background processes running

My BitTorrent app does not download stuff in the background. Maybe for sometime but then it stops working and doesn't download, every morning I wake up to see that my stuff isn't downloaded and it's frustrating. In my battery settings, I've switched off aggressive doze, and kept the app the "Not Optimised", my WiFi scanning is always on as well. Can someone advise me how to keep my downloads running?
Thanks.
You have to make sure the app you're using has the storage permission allowed or it can't download and write to your storage.

It has access to all the storage permission it wants

hmm not sure then. Any time I had that issue was when the app didn't have storage permissions.
And I'm assuming you didn't restrict the background data under the cellular data on the specific app you're talking about.
Go into the app info.. under battery
And make sure background activity is on
If the option is missing then disable battery optimization for this app
Try pressing the lock button within the recents manager and see if that helps
try enabling unrestricted data access under special access permissions

Question Cant receive whatsapp messages until I open the app

Hello guys, I really tried everything.
The battery saver is not enabled, all permission are given to the app, the notification is set, the battery optimization is disabled for whatsapp and still, nothing.
What can I do?
Please help me
Clear cache and data, reinstall. Make sure sync is on in contacts on the sync settings.
Perhaps the app has been put to sleep. Check that it's always active

Go to the pull down menu for the s22 ultra and go to settings. Go to accounts and backup, then manage accounts, then whatssaap. Make sure that says sync on all items, and it doesn't say sync off. When you click it, there is a toggle, for contacts, turn that on.

Check in App info - if background data always allowed.
Also check if this App is optimised for battery or not.

Hmm, that's odd. Yeah I'm not sure what to say. I could say do a factory reset, but I feel there has to be a solution.

Clear cache clear storage, uninstall, reinstall.
Even though yo umentioned app is not optimized, have you set it as NEVER SLEEP app? That's what I do when I set it up and it never fails.

Question Link share options

Hi, I need some help with my device. I'm lost with this one...
I was sharing a link to my friend and accidentally chose the "Always" option in the sharing screen. Now every time I hit "share" in that particular app, it goes straight to the app I accidentally selected to be the "always" app.
I would like to get the sharing work like before and like in every other app. So that the sharing options shows up and I can select which ever app I want the link to be shared.
Only solution I found on internet was going Settings - Apps - hitting the 3 dot menu and selectin Reset app preferences. This seems to reset every application, so I'd rather not do this.
Does anyone know what I need to reset to get it back without resetting the whole phone or all of the apps.
S22U with Goodlock module Home Up if that matters...
Thanks
Under App info for that app is Set as Default option. Click on it and clear defaults under that option. Also try under the other, "always" app

Somehow I completely missed clearing defaults for the app that was set as the "always" app. Doing that brought the sharing options back.
Thanks a million times
