For the life of me I cant get my phone to announce the Caller ID for INCOMING CALLS through my bluetooth.
sms caller ids work.
I download tons of apps to do this and non is working...
I really need it for my Motorcycle Bluetooth Scala Rider QZ
doesnt work on my LG HBS700 nor Plantronics PLT_M50
Any Help?

Does anyone know if there is something in the works to get the caller-id lcd on this bluetooth headset to display the Name on the person who is calling (if they're in your contacts) instead of just the number... like it does on Sony ericsson phones?

i dont know but it does sound kinda exsotic
the bluetooth stack of xda2 is made by ms and only support
basic stuff it dont even support voice dialing and audio as in music over bluetooth
maybe somebody else have messed with it
i think the lcd does't work with the 2020 modell because there is no handfree profile just headset. i can only test with parrot ck3100 and the 2020 doesn't show the number, i tried the new 9090 and with this device it shows the phone number on the display.
yeah, the caller-id display works with the pda2k /qtek9090. (works as in it displays the callers number) but on SE phones it will also display the callers name if they are in your phone book. I understand the reason it only does this for SE phones is because it is an SE headset... I just thought some savy developer may have been working on a way to bring this to the PPC as well.
I have successfully paired a Blueant s4 bluetooth speaker with my Lg Connect cell phone. I am able to answer calls through the bluetooth and voice commands are working. When I place a call using the bluetooth, the number is dialed , however, to hear through the bluetooth I must first turn the bluethooth off then on while on the phones call screen. Defeats the whole purpose of "Hands Free Calling". Will I need to root my phone and download an app to fix this? Metro and LG blame the bluetooth devices. The bluetooth companies blame the phone. I have tried two different bluetooth devices. Can someone please help me?

I have a Moto G and I would like to use it with my Audi A3 bluetooth kit (This is a kit that I rewired from another car to work with mine, nothing too complicated). It includes a single button on the dash that should answer calls, end calls, voice dial and redial last number (long press).
This worked great with my iPhone 4, not so well with my Moto G. The system answers incoming calls, redails and ends calls. But I cannot get the voice dial working very well.
I have tried using bluetooth launch to point at specific voice dialling applications, but it cannot work from the lockscreen. Also, the stock voice dialler is flaky at best, and requires google now to be open on the phone.
Any suggestions welcome please...

Same issue with my moto x and my jvc bluetooth deck.
With 4.2.2 Jellybean it worked flawlessly.
Updated to 4.4.2 last night and now I get a "not supoorted" error on the deck when I try to initiate voice dialing.
A similar problem with my XT1033 on android 4.4.2 and Toyota Prius '05. When a call sends from the car's native bluetooth kit, works fine. But when dialing on the phone or get an incoming call, the car system doesn't recognize that the call have started.

just got the zeblaze crystal watch, it's pretee cool.
just got a prob.
The watch got a speaker and mic for phone calls, and caller id, when I connecting a bt headset, i have to disable phone audio in the bt setting of the watch on phone, after that can connect the earpice. but then the caller id on watch not showing too.
i tryed it on iphone, and it connects to the both paralely, i can choose from where ti answer.
is there any idea what can I do?

Hi , so i just got an android headset for my car running lolipop 5.1.1 it has google now installed but when i press the call button and say for instance 'call home' it shows the calling screen on the hedset but my iphone 6 doesnt do anything, it doesnt matter if it is locked or unlocked? and yes bluetooth is enabled.
I have seen loads of posts for samsung phones but i have an iphone so it doesnt help
i have record over bluetooth enabled in google now settings and google now does recognise and search etc... from my voice commands but googlenow just wont voice dial my iphone 6!
Can somebody please help??

Check the headset`s specifications , an android gadget may not be compatible to an Iphone
We cannot help you further more as we don`t know what headset you own
