What error did you get?
Its unlikely that a script will cause so much problem.

Boot recovery loop?
What error do you get while doing wipe/data reset ?
Also flash a firmware of your region through Odin and then try wipe/data reset.

Try flashing a firmware of your region.
Are you sure you put the script in the right place?
And did you mess with the permissions or something?

So now you're able to wipe data/format ?
Flash in ddkq5 via odin and then install one of the custom roms available most probably razodroid v1 or creeds 1.5.
Listen, I have been flashing stuff into my device for quite some time now. Almost everytime I flash , I experience a bootloop and related stuff.
As long as you can access download mode and recovery mode, there's no reason to worry.
Whenever I suffer from such a problem , I keep flashing firmwares and roms built for my device and wiping data until I fix it.
Sent from my Galaxy Fit @ 801Mhz- RazoDroid
boot loops are pretty common.
just keep flashing roms until you find the one perfect for you.
could you plss provide me a link for DDKQ5..cant seem to find it..sorry..

need help plzz.. i have the same problem. my phone is stuck in a boot loop and does not get over the "android" text. when i select wipe data/reset in cwm recovery it gets stuck showing "formatting /data" and all i have to do is reboot again in recovery. i installed the stock recovery ddkt3 through flashable zip file and tried to wipe data but that too gets stuck in the formatting /data screen. i was using cyanmobile revo A rom when this happend. tried to flash roms gingerbread sandwich v4 and razodroid v4 (both from flashable zip files) but again atuck at android text. im bit unfamiliar with odin, just flashed cwm with it. plzz help how to flash with odin

r u connecting ur phone via downloading mode????? only then odin will detect ur phone and u can install custom recovery like cwm.....do this
* download beni.ops and Odin Multidownloader
(Beni.ops and Odin are the same files used, so you don’t need to download them again.
•Next, run Odin, and connect your phone to your windows computer. Odin should respond as detected. Then, select “Ops” as beni.ops.
•Select the recovery file under “One Package”.
•Do not alter any other option other than those mentioned, let them remain as they are.
•Click “Start”.
•Wait till odin completes flashing (might take upto 10 minutes)
Now, after your device has rebooted, restart into recovery mode to confirm that you have successfully installed ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM).
Note: Even though rooting is not required for installing CWM, it is recommended to do so before, since you can root only from stock recovery, and CWM replaces the stock Samsung recovery.
now u hv installed custom recovery to install custom roms... refer to this link for more help

If you can boot into CWM then try reinstalling the ROM. Before installing wipe dalvic cache, format system, data and cache under "mounts and storage menu" then reinstall the ROM. The post also says that you need to be on "official 6.1.A.2.50" before installing the custom ROM.

[Q] can't reboot into recovery mode

hey guys
my first post on xda actually yesterday i updated my xgamerz v2.2 rom to xgamerz v3 using clockworkmod recovery v6.0.28 everything else worked fine except it vant reboot into recovery ... i CAN reboot in download mode but not recovery.
when i reboot into recovery the samsung galaxy sl page slowly fades away and again reboots the phone into normal mode without going to recovery ( i.e. directly loading to os )
plz help asap
for now do a clean flash from ddlf2 then upgrade v3.. your problem will get solved.. and always wipe dalvik cache and format the system when upgrading the same custom rom. if you are going to any other custom rom just do full clean flash form ddlf2.. so that the rom won't cause any problem in your day to day life..
hope this helps you.

you mean go back to gingerbread 2.3.6 then flash cm10 and then xgamerz with all user data gone
instead of doing all this , i was wondering if i could flash a recovery using nandroid manager app( it has an option to flash recovery) but iam not getting a proper download link for my firmware. . . plz guide
try this : https://googledrive.com/host/0B4xN9...3.0/kernel-cm-10-20130906-galaxysl-signed.zip . and if this didn't work then you'll need to do a clean flash. just do titanium backup of all apps and also backup all you contacts and messages. restore them when you flash v3. you'll get all your userdata and apps as it is. and no need to flash cm10 after ddlf2, just directly flash v3 after flashing ddlf2 ( v3 is based on cm10, so no need to flash that)

try this application : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify if this didn't work then you'll not have any other way except clean flash. till my knowledge I think it's not possible to flash any recovery on jb ROM's due to different partitioning. i'll still suggest you to do a full app backup with titanium backup and restore it when you flash v3. happy flashing

go to xgamers v3 page ( forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192613) and read the 3rd post which says " IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE FLASHING
THIS RELEASE!" you'll come to know what I'm trying to tell you since beginning.. most important : 1st and 5th point.
