hey, guys this is me again and I have got a lot of PMs and messages on my email regarding guide showing step by step process for rooting micromax A56 ninja 2.
Now, there are two ways to root this phone.
[FIRST] :-
1.Just download the .zip file to your computer and then transfer it to your sd card.

2.Now switch off your device.
3.Press "volume+" key and "power button" together.
4.when the phone vibrates (it does when you switch it on or off normally)..leave the power button but continue pressing the "volume +" button.
5.you will enter into your recovery.
6.you will see a yellow bar showing the completition for the process.
7.leave your phone and dont touch it until it completes.
8 .Your phone will restart.
9.download super user app from the market and install it. (IMP).
10.you are rooted.
Requirements:-
1.Nothing.
2.back up your contacts and messages and other data.
[SECOND] :-
1. download the attachments here.
2. download this : http://www.mediafire.com/?jrzuezl8s5t8k0s
3. download android sdk from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html.
and install it by following the instruction onthe page.
4.extract the usb.ini file in the ".android" folder located at C:/users/(ur_name)/
5.You dont need to create this folder it should already exist...after you installed the sdk.
6.download and install unlock root from step 2
7. go to your phone's settings->applications->development and enable USB Debugging NOW connect your phone to PC.
8. go to C:/users/(ur_name)/android-sdk/platform-tools
9.open command line there
10 type adb devices (hit enter)
11. verify that A56 is listed.
12. now run unlock root. and click root option.
REQUIREMENTS :-
1.patience
2.Common sense.
NOTE : if you get any unexpected results or any step is not giving the output as desired. JUST GO WITH THE FIRST METHOD.

That rom given by swap002 is nt rooted i've checked it.
Its just the same as we both felt pre rooted stock rom. It needs to be rooted via unlockroot.

Many users said unlock root not working for them or not downloading or instaling properly...
Here's the alternate to unlockroot....SRS Root..
Both srs root and unlockroot are tested to work on this device..Unlock root tested by me and for srs root thanks to ÐaShing SylveSterr ...Tested by Kamal Rawat:good::good:
Procedure
1) Attach your phone to the computer and turn on usb debbuging from Settings>applications>development>USB Debugging ...windows will try finding the drivers for it named e56 and will oviously fail..
2) Start moborobo pc suite.. it will search for devices and will auto install the drivers for your phone.
3) Disconnect the phone and exit the moborobo pc suite. exit it from status bar dont just close it.
4) Connect the phone again and start Unlockroot or srs root..
5) Click on the root button..Unlockroot will automatically search for the device(Named E56). Select it.
6) The rooting process will start and your phone will be rebooted. and you will see the SuperSu app in the app drawer.
ENJOY ROOTING!! and dont forget to hit the THANKS Button..
@rahulks iam looking forward to rooting my a35 bolt ... but i'd found that there is no thread for a35 and no roms... for the phone ....... KINDLY can You please help me in finding things for a35.......

1. Windows Laptop Or PC
2. Micromax Canvas Viva A72 with minimum 50% charged battery
3. Piranhabox Rooting software
4. USB cable
Procedure For Rooting Micromax Canvas Viva A72 :
Step 1 : Download "Piranhabox" from requirement section and install it on your PC or Laptop.
Step 2 : After installing open it, and connect your Micromax Canvas Viva A72 with your PC or Laptop.
Step 3 : Choose MTK tab in Piranhabox as show in below screenshot.
Step 4 : Now tik Scan USB in the Piranhabox and also tic on OneKey Root as shown in screenshot.
Step 5 : Press "Start" button and let the process run...After 100% process is now finished. Remove your Canvas Viva from USB connection.
Then say Yooohoo... Because your Micromax Canvas Viva A72 is now properly rooted. Now you can use all apps which require root access like Titianium BackUp, Chainfire 3D,Root Explorer, Etc and you can also access system files your Canvas Viva.

i can't connect my device and found the error
"Device not found".I installed adb drivers properly.I think i don't
know the correct way of connect via usb cable.

2) switch on the phone and allow debuging access, connect phone to pc and open mtkdroidtools, click root. Now your micromax a72 is properly root. Earlier u were not allowd to access root because the stock boot.img permission was set to secure.

micromax a72 only screen showing when its on charging. when I try to power on its shows nothing on screen
How to Root Canvas HD ?
hi here's a solution
Before you take a step further, please make sure that your device is Micromax Canvas HD A116.
You can check this at Settings >> About Device.
Take a backup of your existing ROM using the ROM Manager App available on Play Store.
You may also opt for a backup of your important data such as SMS, phone numbers using one of the backup apps available on play store for free.
The upgrade process work on internal battery power. So we would recommend you to charge your device more than 80%
.
Disable all anti-virus software installed on you device and PC.
If you have kies installed on your PC, just uninstall it.
Enable USB debugging on your Device. The option for this is available at :
Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging or
Settings> Developer Option> USB Debugging
Now your Micromax Canvas HD A116 is ready for rooting.
Download the Rooting Tool. It is a zipped file, hence extract it on your computer.
Connect your Micromax Canvas HD A116 to PC using the original data-cable.
After connection is successful, ‘RunMe.bat‘ file which is available inside the zipped folder.
This should start rooting on command prompt.
Press ’1′ for using normal mode when it asks for mode. Press ‘Enter’ when required.
Now all you need is to follow on-screen steps which comes. These are really to follow.
The rooting will copy some binary files on your Micromax Canvas HD A116 and will restart your device sometime.
After the rooting is complete, search for an app with name ‘SuperUser SU’. If its there, your device is rooted successfully.
After a long day of searching on how to root this device FINALLY!!! I got it.
NOTE: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO YOUR PHONE
I root this device with iRoot
STEP 1- Download iroot
just check google for that
Step 2- Connect your device to your PC make sure that USB debugging is enable
Step 3- Wait for the iRoot to recognize your device and then when you see on your PC that your device is connected Click "root now"
Step 4- Now when your device is rooted you will see an icon that is like a horse and it said its a superuser (its different from the typical superuser or superSU that rooted device has) then go to the play store and install root checker to check if your device is rooted already.
if you want to have a typical superSU icon you can just download it on the play store just type "superSU" by chainFire
