Micromax A110Q Canvas Plus Rooting & Stock Rom

Hi Guys,
Here i share Root/Unroot and Stock Rom about Micromax A110Q how to root Canvas Plus. So i just share, what i learnt about this phone.This thread will be updated when updates are available........
All replies of this forum's should be posted here..
Also if anyone copy this thread's information should be credited to this thread.
I have got many Pm, that i can't root my mobile, so I checked the problem n the result is because of memory issue in v 2 can't root by both of methods.so who wants to use root, kindly downgrade to firmware v 1.

Micromax A110Q Canvas Plus Root by Bin4ry_V30 root tool. The Rooting procedure is really easy, and you should follow these steps: -
1) Rooting & Unrooting
First of all install Driver Micromax A116 Driver then follow these steps:-
1. Enable USB debugging on your device.
2. Go to Settings-- > Development-- > USB debugging check it.
3. Connect MMX A110Q using storage mode to PC & Install driver.
4. Stop Firewall & Antivirus During root process.
5. Change phone connection to Media device.
6. Download Tools -:- Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v30 thanks to link provider
7. Unzip Bin4ry the root tool.
8. Run RunMe.bat file (Do not Run as Administrator)
9. Follow the on screen instructions carefully. You will need to type "1" for root and press enter.
10. If you ever want to Unroot your Micromax A110 then type "x" and press enter.
11. Your device will reboot during the process,after the reboot Bin4ry will copy some files to your device. Now you have fully rooted your device.
Attention: Please follow the instructions carefully. I will not take any responsibility on whatever may happen with your phone.
2) Only for rooting (Auto Root Method)

What should U do:
1) Make sure USB debugging is enabled. Go to settings > developer options > enable USB debugging,
2) Download AND Install MTK Drivers,
3) Extract the MTK6589 Auto Root folder from the .rar,
4) Connect your phone to PC visa USB and changa it into (MTP) mode.(USB) mode Won't work,
5) Run run.bat from the extracted MTK6589 Auto Root folder,
6) Press any key and wait while it roots your phone,
7) After finished, now reboot,
Wow, you’re rooted now.
Note = This method will work for all of MTK6589 Quadcore phones....

Stock Rom V2
This is first update of Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus. Micromax release stock Rom V2 for this phone. This update comes in software & improves hardware performance of Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus.
Software release notes:
1. Quadband support, software is also backward compatible with dual band.
2. M! Live app, Hoops, Game hub, Kingston office suite applications are integrated in software.
3. New SAR values (Basis on Quadband) are integrated in software.
4. GMS is updated.
Hardware release notes:
1. Quadband hardware is introduced so Hardware version will be changed. Please share the new labels with new SAR values and new HW ver.
2. TP (BYD) is changed. BYD make is introduced.
3. Front camera (Sunwin) is changed. Sunwin make is introduced.
Follow these steps to Install stock Rom V2:-
1. Install Drivers (driver in your phone)
2. Download and Extract SP tool & Micromax Stock Rom V2 folder. Open Sp Tool folder and click & Rum sptool.exe Run as Administrator if you are using Windows vista/7/8
3. Select ' MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt file inside the ROM folder.
4. Now Switch off Canvas 2 Plus.
5. Click Download Button in Sp tool.
6. Connect Phone {Switched off} to PC via USB Cable.
7. If every things right, flashing will precede
8. Wait till it finishes….. A green ring is displayed on completion.
9. Now Close SP tool….. Remove Phone from PC.
10. Switch ON the phone...It is successfully Flashed...

i have micromax canvas2 plus and i flashed canxperia rom on it which was a custom rom for micromax canvas 2 , i flashed it through recovery and then the device went in to the bootloop. i tried to flash the stock jellybean rom through sp flash tool but when i connect the mobile it starts and again starts bootlooping so sp flashtool couldnt flash the stock rom even. phone can boot into recovery and fastboot and device battery is below 20% so is there any other way to flash the stock rom so that the device can boot in proper way, please let me know as soon as possible.

1st method is asking for system restoration when i click on it .it says starting system restoration and nothing happens
and in 2nd method iam getting and error that su/xbin dont have free space does any one knows the solution??

Then try this just take backup of ur current rom,then do Full format & then try second method.the first method didn't work for me but some people got worked so I didn't remove that method from my thread

still not working and now iam thibking of flashing v1 again so the method mentioned for v2 is same for v1 as well??

Please helpp me how to root micromax a 72?. I have tried with super one click, bin4ry, srs one clickroot. No response. Plshelp me.

1. Windows Laptop Or PC
2. Micromax Canvas Viva A72 with minimum 50% charged battery
3. Piranhabox Rooting software
4. USB cable
Procedure For Rooting Micromax Canvas Viva A72 :
Step 1 : Download "Piranhabox" from requirement section and install it on your PC or Laptop.
Step 2 : After installing open it, and connect your Micromax Canvas Viva A72 with your PC or Laptop.
Step 3 : Choose MTK tab in Piranhabox as show in below screenshot.
Step 4 : Now tik Scan USB in the Piranhabox and also tic on OneKey Root as shown in screenshot.
Step 5 : Press "Start" button and let the process run...After 100% process is now finished. Remove your Canvas Viva from USB connection.
Then say Yooohoo... Because your Micromax Canvas Viva A72 is now properly rooted. Now you can use all apps which require root access like Titianium BackUp, Chainfire 3D,Root Explorer, Etc and you can also access system files your Canvas Viva.

i can't connect my device and found the error
"Device not found".I installed adb drivers properly.I think i don't
know the correct way of connect via usb cable.

1) Just download unsecureboot.img and flash it using sp flash tool.
2) switch on the phone and allow debuging access, connect phone to pc and open mtkdroidtools, click root. Now your micromax a72 is properly root. Earlier u were not allowd to access root because the stock boot.img permission was set to secure.

Hi guys today I will show u how to root Karbonn A9*(Star).
I have personally tested the rooting guide & confirmed to be working on Karbonn A9*(Star)
Karbonn A9*(Star) is a re-branded K-TOUCH W656
Requirments-
1-Pdanet: http://pdanet.co/bin/PdaNetZ350.exe
2-Unlock Root Software: http://www.mediafire.com/download/7p46fdcgnjtf285/UnlockRoot_2.3.0.exe
Steps to root Karbonn A9*(Star) :-
1) Enable USB Debugging on your Karbonn A9*(Star). (By going to Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging)
2) Download the Pdanet driver, its an executable file (.exe) so after downloading double click on it, to install it.
3) After completing driver installation, download the Unlock root software from the requirement area, its an executable file (.exe), so double click it to install.
4) Connect your Karbonn A9*(Star) with computer via USB cable & open the Unlock root software. Wait for few minute to stabilize the driver & in mean time Unlock root will auto detect your handset.
5) Now choose the Karbonn A9*(Star) from the drop down list of auto detected device.
6) Hit the big ROOT button to start the karbonn A9*(Star) rooting process.
7) Wait for few minutes for the process to complete, then a success message will be displayed on your pc screen.
8) Now disconnect the USB cable & restart/reboot your A9*(Star).

Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 Root

:fingers-crossed: Guys, here is the tutorial how to root your Canvas Doodle 2 A240 using MotoChopper Rooting Package.
1. Install the Micromax A240 ABD Drivers ( you can use PDA net which is easy or you can download the drivers from the attachment below)
2. Enable USB Debugging on your phone
3. Now connect your phone to your PC
4. Download the MT6589_Rooting_Package.zip file and extract it
5. You will find a “run.bat” file in the extracted folder, run it
6. Now press any key to start the rooting process

1) Introduction:
Micromax Canvas Doodle a111 is a 3G Android smartphone with a 5-inch TFT HD Touchscreen display. The phone is powered with 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Processor and it runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean OS. If you are a user of Micromax Canvas Doodle a111 and would like to gain root access for installing rooted apps or custom ROM’s, then the following tutorial will help you. I have given step by step instructions for rooting A111 smartphone below
2) How to root:
Prerequisites To Root Micromax Canvas A111 Smartphone​1. Take complete backup of your personal data in the Micromax device using appropriate apps. Although the root process won’t affect them, its safe to keep a backup.
2. Remove all the Antivirus applications installed on your smartphone for virus protection since sometimes they will cause trouble while the rooting process is going on.
3. Charge your phone battery and keep its backup level above 80% as the rooting process drains the battery. If you don’t have enough battery backup and your device gets switched off during the rooting, then surely it will get bricked. Avoid it by having a good battery backup.
4. ***Enable USB Debugging mode in your device by following the path: Settings -> Developer Option -> USB Debugging.

Tutorial To Root Micromax Canvas A111
> To get started, download VROOT / Root Genius from bellow link and install it on your computer. Once installed, open the application.
> Now connect your Micromax Canvas A111 smartphone to the computer using the “USB Debugging Mode”. If you have installed the required USB drivers for your phone on the computer, then the VROOT application will automatically detect your smartphone.
> Now just click on the “Root” button shown on the VROOT / Root Genius window and let the rooting process begin. The smartphone will get restarted several times during the process. So, don’t panic. Once the rooting process is finished, the device will reboot for one more time.
> Thats it. Now you have successfully rooted your Micromax Canvas A111 smartphone. If you want to confirm whether you have successfully rooted or not, use the “Root Checker” app. If you encounter any issues while following this rooting tutorial, do let me know via comments.

To install ROM’s and Kernels you need a custom recovery already you learned how to ROOT Device from above information now its the time to use unlocked boot loader to your device k lets move through the part
and
to flash recovery no need root access don't bother if u are rooted or unrooted. if you are unrooted then also you can do it i provide both information for rooted and unrooted users
Things needed before flashing:
1. Proper drivers (see section 1)
2. ADB. There are various ways to get it but don't worry about size and installation i marked it small and easy
3. Required Recovery images(TWRP/CWM/STOCK & MIUI) provided link bellow.
4. Basic Knowledge on PC..

This Step for Rooted Users Only
Download Flashify from Google Play here
(before follow this step please ensure that your battery device has more 50% in case of out of battery during this process)​
1) Use Flashify Application:
This program required Root Permission and it free with limited functioned that can install Custom Recovery 3 times a day. If need more please support dev.
2) Make sure you hit “Allow” when Superuser request window pops up when opening the Flashify app.
3) Choose “Recovery image” for recovery images like CWM or TWRP. (You could even flash stock recovery images and unroot btw.)
4) Next, choose the file you want to install by choosing “Choose a file”.
5) Choose one of the Recovery Download CWM or TWRP or OTHER but I recommended TWRP
6) Browse your storage and choose the IMG file you want to flash.
7) Choose “Yup”. That’s it!

1> Enable USB debugging mode in ur device
for this(go to setting >> developer Options >> tick usb debugging)
2> Switch off your device and start it in ""fast boot"" mode
for this Switch off device after this
Hold (Volume down + Power Button) both at same time it will show canvas logo with top blue LED above sensor
that's it it means that now your device in fast-boot mode
3> Now connect your mobile to PC with the data cable it will automatically install drivers if not install drivers manually download from above section 1
4> Now get back to PC navigate to download folder it contains 2 folders
1.fast boot files and
2.Recovery Images
now copy recovery which one u want from "Recovery Images" folder to "fast boot files" folder
(stock -- default what MMX device provides)
(CWM/TWRP/MIUI Custom recoverys)
then rename the copied file with name "recovery"
5> Now open "fast boot files" folder at this time in keyboard hold "shift button and click right mouse button" at a time with in the folder
(don't select any file first just left click on white space then proceed "shift+right mouse click at a time")
6> with in this choose option "Open Command Window Hear" then type command

7> wait until Ur home screen available on device then disconnect from PC that it enjoy recovery
4) FAQs:
1. HOW TO CHECK WHETHER I ROOTED OR NOT ?
A. Don't worry there is a lot of options to check root access on of that is easy Download "Root Checker" from Google Play and follow procedure in app
2. WHEN FOR ROOTING I CONNECT DEVICE NOTHING PROCESSING ?
A. Install drivers Perfectly and check data cable
3. HOW TO ENTER FAST BOOT MODE?
A. Take Look its easy but small confusion is device started in fast boot mode or not when in fastboot mode its just showing blue led and logo and stuck at logo its enough device in fastboot mode
to switch on fastboot mode(Volume down + Power Button)
4. HOW TO ENTER INTO RECOVERY MODE AFTER INSTALL OR CHECK IT?
A. just Switch off device and press (Volume UP + Power Button) wait until it show recovery don't leave keys
5. HOW TO BACK UP EXISTING ROM?
A. just enter into recovery choose backup option that's it it will place folder according to Ur recovery in SD
5) Troubleshooting
a)Unbricking
If you are reading this you have a problem. Your phone has become a brick. But do not despair yet as there are a few ways to unbrick your phone. Let us first determine whether it is a soft brick or a hard one.
**Soft Brick: Basically it means your phone is bootlooping or showing a blank screen but you can still go to recovery/download mode. The easiest way to fix this (and determine if you have a soft vs hard brick) is turn off the phone and then press the volume up button and powerbutton (keeping vol up pressed). If you see recovery no problem flash stock rom
**Hard Brick: If you cannot enter download or recovery mode then you may have a hard-brick. This is not a fun situation to be in but there is a fix that may work. It involves lots of linux commands and is not for newbies but then if you are hard-bricked what have you got to lose.

I was not able to Flash my drive but becz i have taken Fast boot file from another place and recovery file from another place. But you did the right thing everything going right and i am able to install rom in my micromax A111. Thank you so much sir. I appreciate your hard work.
