Hi Guys,
Here i share Root/Unroot and Stock Rom about Micromax A110Q how to root Canvas Plus. So i just share, what i learnt about this phone.This thread will be updated when updates are available........
All replies of this forum's should be posted here..
Also if anyone copy this thread's information should be credited to this thread.
I have got many Pm, that i can't root my mobile, so I checked the problem n the result is because of memory issue in v 2 can't root by both of methods.so who wants to use root, kindly downgrade to firmware v 1.
Micromax A110Q Canvas Plus Root by Bin4ry_V30 root tool. The Rooting procedure is really easy, and you should follow these steps: -
1) Rooting & Unrooting
First of all install Driver Micromax A116 Driver then follow these steps:-
1. Enable USB debugging on your device.
2. Go to Settings-- > Development-- > USB debugging check it.
3. Connect MMX A110Q using storage mode to PC & Install driver.
4. Stop Firewall & Antivirus During root process.
5. Change phone connection to Media device.
6. Download Tools -:- Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v30 thanks to link provider
7. Unzip Bin4ry the root tool.
8. Run RunMe.bat file (Do not Run as Administrator)
9. Follow the on screen instructions carefully. You will need to type "1" for root and press enter.
10. If you ever want to Unroot your Micromax A110 then type "x" and press enter.
11. Your device will reboot during the process,after the reboot Bin4ry will copy some files to your device. Now you have fully rooted your device.
Attention: Please follow the instructions carefully. I will not take any responsibility on whatever may happen with your phone.
2) Only for rooting (Auto Root Method)

What should U do:
1) Make sure USB debugging is enabled. Go to settings > developer options > enable USB debugging,
2) Download AND Install MTK Drivers,
3) Extract the MTK6589 Auto Root folder from the .rar,
4) Connect your phone to PC visa USB and changa it into (MTP) mode.(USB) mode Won't work,
5) Run run.bat from the extracted MTK6589 Auto Root folder,
6) Press any key and wait while it roots your phone,
7) After finished, now reboot,
Wow, you’re rooted now.
Note = This method will work for all of MTK6589 Quadcore phones....

Stock Rom V2
This is first update of Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus. Micromax release stock Rom V2 for this phone. This update comes in software & improves hardware performance of Micromax A110Q Canvas 2 Plus.
Software release notes:
1. Quadband support, software is also backward compatible with dual band.
2. M! Live app, Hoops, Game hub, Kingston office suite applications are integrated in software.
3. New SAR values (Basis on Quadband) are integrated in software.
4. GMS is updated.
Hardware release notes:
1. Quadband hardware is introduced so Hardware version will be changed. Please share the new labels with new SAR values and new HW ver.
2. TP (BYD) is changed. BYD make is introduced.
3. Front camera (Sunwin) is changed. Sunwin make is introduced.
Follow these steps to Install stock Rom V2:-
1. Install Drivers (driver in your phone)
2. Download and Extract SP tool & Micromax Stock Rom V2 folder. Open Sp Tool folder and click & Rum sptool.exe Run as Administrator if you are using Windows vista/7/8
3. Select ' MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt file inside the ROM folder.
4. Now Switch off Canvas 2 Plus.
5. Click Download Button in Sp tool.
6. Connect Phone {Switched off} to PC via USB Cable.
7. If every things right, flashing will precede
8. Wait till it finishes….. A green ring is displayed on completion.
9. Now Close SP tool….. Remove Phone from PC.
10. Switch ON the phone...It is successfully Flashed...

i have micromax canvas2 plus and i flashed canxperia rom on it which was a custom rom for micromax canvas 2 , i flashed it through recovery and then the device went in to the bootloop. i tried to flash the stock jellybean rom through sp flash tool but when i connect the mobile it starts and again starts bootlooping so sp flashtool couldnt flash the stock rom even. phone can boot into recovery and fastboot and device battery is below 20% so is there any other way to flash the stock rom so that the device can boot in proper way, please let me know as soon as possible.

1st method is asking for system restoration when i click on it .it says starting system restoration and nothing happens

Then try this just take backup of ur current rom,then do Full format & then try second method.the first method didn't work for me but some people got worked so I didn't remove that method from my thread

Root.sh script run
But all in vain
One thing can work
Flash tool and mmx scatter. I have tried mmx 73 scatter file but no success.
Kindly any one provide mmx scatter micromax a80.
I tired up with this phone

Low internal storage.

Hello,
i have finally managed to root micromax a80 , using fly iq275 firmware.everything works perfect,
except the touch keys combination. as fly iq 275 have home key in place of menu key in mmx a80.
please post the method to root mmx A80

The Process
1)download all files from the link adrive.com/public/v8S6SK/mmx[/url] a80 root.rar
2)install usb driver
3)copy uniroot2signed.zip to Sd card
4)install sp flash tool
5)flash iq 275 firmware (for process search google)
6)boot phone in recovery
7)install zip from sd card. choose iniroot2signed.zip
first boot will take more time be patient.
phone will boot in russian language, change language on first screen.
also download some english layout keyboard, as it starts with russian keyboard.
i am using swift keyboard. the firmware version is 2.3.4.

whenever i download google+ app.. i dont get an hangout option and this is i guess due to a front camera problem in mmx a80!!
please tell me some solution if u know..! and if u hv nt yet experienced it then pls download google+ and tell me if u find any solution for same!!

it is possible to port rom made for micromax a75. to micromax a80
i used recovery.img of micromax a75. and for porting in flashable zip
just replace boot.img. from iq275 firmware.

Is it possible to undo the process and get back original firmware.

i root my MMX A80 without full flash,
steps..
1. download SP flash..CWM Reocvery 5.0 of MMX A75.donwload needed files from above link........
2. MTK6573 Scatter file needed...
3. and open sp flash tool and load MTK6573 scatter file..
4. select Recovery from sp flash tool windows and choose CWM recovery 5.0 of MMX a75..
5.click download.. turn off device connect cable and press softly power on swtich..... now the yellow bar counts start and after click ok and green box appears...
6. now press volume up+power on switch .....see you are in CWM recovery..and install now flash uniroot.signed.zip for rooting in A80...reboot your MMX a80....Your done .....see Superuser in apps....
most needed step i forget to tell you guys ........make sure you have installed all driver for MMX a80 ......

So, this is it! MICROMAX A52 has been rooted!! :laugh:
(I dont own this device, i rooted it for my friends at Indiedevers, dont ask me device specific questions!)
Things you would be needing:
1. SP flash tool -> ver 2.1 (see attatched files!)
2. Download and extract my attatched a52 rooted.rar file.
3. Unlockroot (get it from www.unlockroot.com).
4. MTK drivers (see mtk attatchment on this xda post)
5. ADB drivers (No need to worry about, unlockroot will automatically setup the adb driver while rooting)
Ok so let's move on to the steps:
1. This rar file contains my modified boot.img & the A52 scatter file (needed by SP Tools, tells the SP tools which rom addresses to flash).
2. Install the MTK drivers, just run the InstallDriver.exe program inside the MTK folder).
3. Most of you might be experienced with flashing through SP Tools, for those who are using it for the first time read this excellent guide on how to use it -> MTK Flashing Using SP Tools
4. After flashing, reboot your handset by taking out and reinserting the battery.
5. When the phone boots up go to Settings->Applications->Development and tick mark "Enable Debugging".
6. Now attach your phone using the data cable.
7. Open Unlockroot program through windows start menu.
8. Click the big green root button.
9. It will ask for installing drivers, click "yes"...it's now installing the ADB drivers.
10. Finally it will root your phone and will ask you for rebooting the phone, click yes.
11. Let your A52 reboot.
Finally after booting, check the app drawer for an application "Superuser"...Congratulations!! your A52 is successfully rooted!!!...:highfive:

Yes My A52 working. But it is all now Fly Like view. All boot logos are of fly. Yes it is rooted but I want the original rooted stock ROM of MMX A52. If you can help it will be great.
Pls post full rom some people unable to switch 3g to 2g or 2g to 3g

I think ics not supported bcoz mmx a52 screen resolution is very lowlow

Finally I too got it rooted, used only bootimg option for spflash tool. and refer to op attached img file. it works...!!!!!
method works.. I recd brom error after flashing but on using unlockroot it worked
so ignore the error if u like to risk.

Select The bootimg option, then click on The option and select The path of my modified boot.img file, then connect your phone and flash it!!!
& Yeah if you want you can again un root your device by just pressing The un root button on The unlockroot programme you rooted with!! No need of flasing The original boot.img!

This is a guide to help you root and install cwm recovery on Micromax bolt a35.
This is a tested method and is working fine.
NOTE: FOLLOW ALL THE STEPS CAREFULLY OR YOU WILL END UP BRICKING YOUR PHONE.
NOTE: ROOTING YOUR PHOINE VOIDS IT'S WARRANTY
TO ROOT YOUR PHONE:-
1.Download Moborobo from here and install drivers for your phone(ENABLE USB DEBUGGING BY GOING IN SETTINGS -> APPLICATION -> DEVELOPMENT -> ENABLE USB DEBUGGING)
2.Downlaod kingo root app from here
3.Now open kingo root app and root your phone by clicking root again button.(USB DEBUGGING SHOULD BE TURNED ON)
4.VOILA.. YOUR PHONE IS ROOTED...
Now, how to install CWM Recovery on your phone.
1.First downlaod cwm recovery from here
2.Download adb drivers from here.
3.install adb drivers and connect your phone, then right click on computer properties and click on device manager then look for e56 with ! sign right click it and click on update drivers then locate the adb drivers you downloaded and install them.
4.now copy the recovery.img file to adb driver folder
5..Now turn off your phone and press volume down key + power button.
6.open command prompt in where you installed the adb drivers by holding shift button and right clicking on command prompt
7.then write this command :-
fastboot devices

and if it shows your device id , you are good to go.
8.now write this command:-
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img.img

10.download quick boot app form google play and click on recovery and you will have cwm recovery.:good:

hi bro help cant root when trying with SRS root asks to select FRODO or ARAGORN or LEGOLAS on my phone but can't find when checking in frama root gives me the vulnerability error shows device seems not vulnerable to exploit in framaroot also tried with kingo root and unlockroot but no help pls help I just want to root it

Guys kingo root doesn't work just uses srsroot and you can root easily.
it uses many different exploits till root is achieved.

I have tried every USB driver available on the internet, but can't find the e56 driver and therefore no root for my Bolt A35.
Can you please share your version of Moborobo, does it support the A35 out of the box?
Can you just host the pre-requisite files somewhere?

Rooting Method
Read everything or risk a brick. Standard disclaimer. Your warranty is now void. Use at your own risk. Always take backup of everything e.g. Nvram folder using various tools like recovery, titanium backup, root browser etc. Don’t do it if you don’t know what is rooting and custom rom / firmware.

5. Steps for flashing stock ROM via SP Tool:
a) You need to download Rom and SP Tool from above link.
b) Download AND Install MTK Drivers.
c) Reboot your PC.
d) Unrar downloaded ROM in RAR File Format and unzip SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1312.0.139.zip using any Unrar tool like peazip, 7zip, winrar.
e) You will have two folder M-A300-LWDEB16.2.10.1.0T22A0512_M552 and SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1312.0.139.
f) Switch off Your Phone. Make sure you have sufficient battery charged or use laptop to do this. (Do NOT connect phone to PC)
g) Open Flash_tool.exe from folder SP_Flash_Tool_exe_v3.1312.0.139.
h) Click Scatter-Loading button, choose MT6589_Android_scatter.txt file from folder M-A300-LWDEB16.2.10.1.0T22A0512_M552.
i) Wait file to be added into Flash Tool.
j) Choose Option->USB Model, click USB Model.
k) Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed.
l) Click Firmware download.
m) Now connect phone.
n) Software start downloading.
o) After few minutes you will see big green circle.
p) Done. Boot your phone.

7. Flashing Method of CWM via SP tool.
Steps:
a) You need to download Rom and SP Tool from above link.
b) Download AND Install MTK Drivers.

Try latest version of sp tool. And try the whole process again.

Yes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling too. The only error is the initializing error.
Is it possible to flash using another flash tool?
Or any way to root? Once rooted I can install recovery.

Download MTK Droid tools. Install. Then open it and connect your phone and then click on blocks map. Then click on create scatter file.. Then save it somewhere and use that scatter file for flashing. If it doesnt work then try baiduroot for rooting the phone.

I also face the same problem, try with Flash Tool version 5 and disable the Anti Virus if any intstalled, it will work.

Micromax Unite 2 lock screen app misbehaving after root

First of all, use read back to get rom dump (backup) as there is no stock rom available on net.
Go here and follow the guide.
Procedure:
1. Download and install drivers Driver_Auto_Installer_v1.1236.00.7z.
If not working try these too PDAnet_4150.rar.
Problem in installation?? Go here
2. Download and copy/move KingUser to your memory card. (Fix provided by sagarwep:op)
3. Download any kitkat recovery from here and place it in pc.
4. Open SP Flash tools and load this MT6582_Android_scatter.txt in it. (alternative download link of sp flash tools)
5. Click on 'recovery' in sp flash tools and select the downloaded Recovery .
6. Click Download in sp flash tools, remove the battery from phone and connect it to pc.
A green circle/download ok will confirm flashing.
7. Insert battery and press volume up+down+power on, then press volume up to select recovery.
Note: in ctr recovery you can swipe right to go forward and swipe back to go backward, use it to navigate, save volume buttons.
8. Tap on install from sd card and swipe right on screen to go forward, select Unite_2_4.4.2_Proper root......zip and say yes to flash.
9. Reboot, Done.

I've rooted my Micromax Unite 2 as per your root guide line, just after finishing root my lock screen app started misbehaving. after I restart my phone it first shows me the launcher and then after approx 20-30 seconds it shows lock screen. also I see an error message every time it boots which says that the process "system" is not responding -> kill or wait, choosing kill restores the normal phone function until next restart. restoring my backup of stock rom fixes the problem. could you please guide me how to solve this problem?

I tried to root the Micromax Unite 2 using the software you have listed and followed the process to the T using the CTR 2..2 as recovery of choice.
1 When i try to activate the Root Explorer option on it gives me message"Sorry Test Failed, This feature can not run on your device"
2 When I connectbot i still get the $ sign in root

Later on today When I tried to install Titanium It asked for SU Permission and It failed to get access and further message is its not rooted.

I have flashed rom of Micromax Canvas A1 on my Micromax Unite 2 By useing SP Flash tools. I thought it will work since both has almosh same specification (MTK 6582). And I will get new version of android on my Micromax Unite 2. Now my phone is not working. It is not even detected by SP flash tools. Otherwise i would have flashed the stock rom of my phone on it to make it work. Please help me with some guite by which i can recover my device.
Rooting Issue
Steps that i followed to Root my device:
1. Successfully created a Readback of my Custom Rom.
2. Flashed Carliv Touch Recovery(CTR) 2.2 for Kitkat.
3. Got into Recovery mode.. Installed zip from SD, and Rebooted.
4. Booted without any error.
5. Superuser application displayed in the launcher.
6. Opened Superuser to check settings(like unroot, permissions), and got worried it does not have any option to unroot.
7. Installed "Root Checker basic" to Check for root. When Tested it said " The device is not Rooted."(That's unexpected.) Tried other apps that require Root Access. Same message, Device not Rooted.
8. Then Download SuperSu.zip from searching from Google and placed it inside SD.
9. Booted to recovery, flashed SuperSu zip. then rebooted.
10. Finally my device got Rooted but was not able to remove the bloatware from the Phone. So Without wasting any time did the full unroot and posting these Steps.
My Question to anyone reading this post and who can answer these.
1. The "SuperUser" is not working due to CTR or the "Superuser" app is not able to root my device.
2. Has anyone rooted his/her Micromax Unite 2 recently?
3. If yes by which recovery, superuser app, xda post, or outside xda,google, youtube?

Presuming you are referring to error in sp flash tool while flashing :
1)If you are flashing same Rom (jb to jb or kk to kk) then that means the partitions are changed, if you have changed ebrs then restore them first, then the error will go
2)if you are flashing jb to kk or kk to jb then use format all & download option.

Use any custom recovery and flash koushik datta's superuser zip for rooting (he is the founder of cwm) to root your a106

But I have to backup my Micromax Canvas 4 [ A210 ]. What numbers should I enter there ?

Hello Guys I followed Sudeep Duhoon and was successfull in installing TWRP custom Recovery and flashing superuser [it installed as system app and I wonder how to remove it now!!!], but still my phone doesn't seem rooted as Root Checker app says "This device doesnt have proper root access". I want to root this anyway please help.

Hello. I have a wiko bloom (same phone as micromax unite 2 and myphonerio lite), I have flashed TWRP on kitkat, I couldn´t use the scatter file provided in the post so I used the one that I had from my phone. Once I flashed the recovery, I tried to backup my phone, but I have an error saying Error: couldn´t mount /emmc
I have looked for that folder with root explorer but there is no /eemc folder but some files intead (like [email protected], [email protected])
Before trying anything by myself I would like to know it there is any way to fix that. I would like to install roms and that things but I´m not sure they would work if the architecture of the software is not the same :/
