** First time flashing a ROM so I apologize in advance for being so Newbie Green **
I'm hoping someone could help me with an issue that I'm having with my Asus TF201 stuck in a boot loop after flashing to the cm-11.0-20140907-crombi-kk-RC3.1 build. I followed the "Upgrade Instructions" guide in the forum containing the ROM.
I did the following:
1. I unlocked my TF201 pad
2. I successfully installed the omni version of Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) Philz ClockWorkMod Recovery
3. Within TWRP I was successful installing the cm-11.0-20140907-crombi-kk-RC3.1 ROM (After install it said successful install)
4. Did not install Google Gapps because it says no longer needed
5. I went ahead and installed CROMBi-kk_TF300_Wifi_ROM2SD_Patch
It appears that the mount points are my issue as I'm receiving the below error messages when the device is posting. I'm thinking it may have to do with the ROM2SD patch I installed.
Detecting Filesystem...
mmcblk0p8 /data on internal (UDA) --> not present
mmcblk1p2 /data on micro SD (for Data2SD / ROM2SD) --> not present
mmcblk1p3 /system on microSD (for ROM2SD) --> not present
** I attached a screen shot of the error
Hi,
Once you get to 10 constructive posts, you can ask for help in the development sections... In the rom thread.
But until then, here is the place for help with your device...
> Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime > Eee Pad Transformer Prime Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!

After you have 10 posts, the rom threads are the best place to report issues.

Hi,
Here is you device section. Roms can be found in the development and original development sections. Any other questions can be asked in the Q&A section, after registering on XDA. And the general section will have useful information.
Asus MeMO Pad 7
There are likely different model numbers of your device, so be sure to only use roms and files made for your exact model number.
Good luck!
Never mind.

Hello I am Looking to root my newly bought Asus ZenPad C7.0 (model: P01Z Z170C), I am not sure that I am in the right place to be asking but here goes. I am looking for a way to root my new tablet, I have looked through google. And I saw that there were a couple of programs that are "easy" to use but one of them is in another language and the other, Kingo root, does not seem safe to me. I have read of people having problems with it, and one of them being stealing data, another being that it installs processes that are undesireable on your pc. If someone could point me in the direction needed to root my tablet I would be grateful.
Side note: I already found out how to enable usb debugging.
Any suggestions appreciated, thank you.
A little more information
I forgot to mention I was running Android 5.0.2
If there is any other information needed to answer my question please let me know.
Thanks for using XDA Assist,
We don't have a forum specific to the Asus Zenpad 7, however your can most likely find answers to your questions in the General Help and Troubleshooting Forum, here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help
Here are some hits I received while doing a forum search for your device: http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=386293318
