[Completed] [Q] Amoi a862w problem - XDA Assist

I tried to install a new rom on Amoi a862w, and installed it, but when I turn it on I got only black-and-white screen, tried to go again, but again the same thing. I have connected a it on a computer via a USB cable, the phone is formatted by himself, now not even that works, when I connect to the computer, PC recognize the phone as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" qualcomm download mode, so there is no system on it, is there a program that could use to put on a new system, I've tried over the flash tool, but when I want to throw in a scatter file writes me that scatter file is wrong. Please people help me because I love my cell phone. Sorry for my bad English. I hope that someone will understand

A quick search did not come up with much for your particular Device. There was one thread, but it does not have much ( thread link below ) . I would suggest posting your question in Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting. Best of luck .
EDIT:
Additionally, you may want to try a fresh Clean flash of the Rom you have. Making sure to verify the MD5 Checksum before flashing the Rom zip file. There is a good guide HERE on how to Flash a Rom.

[Q] How can I unbrick my replica for SGS3 H600 H640_77v01.01b01 ( MT6577 ) ?

Hello,
I have phone H600 H640_77v01.01b01 replica for SGS3 (MT6577),but it is briked, when I connect it at my computer, only what can I see it is MTK USB Port (COM 28) in "Manage" ,no light, nothing else!
When I try to flash it with SP Flash tool I got some error after red line, only what can I do it is format.
What can I do to recognize it like MT65xx preloader? I need to press some buttons when I connect it to my computer?
Sorry for my little english!
are you sure this is an MT6577 based smartphone? how do you managed to brick it? flashed wrong firmware? we need some more inforamtions here. "some error" is something i cannot build onto. make a photo of the back of your device (without the battery) to identify your device. you`ll need to get a proper firmware for your device or it will be dead forever.
edit: found this software, this one MAYBE will work: http://4shared.com/file/IAkoq9Z5/
i didn`t looked into it, but is suggest you have to flash it using SP flash tool.

[GUIDE] Flash/Upgrade Lenovo A369i with Stock Firmware - Lenovo A369i_ROW_S108_130929

Ever wonder how to do it?
You might have done something wrong... You might have tweak something bad... You might have deleted some files... You might have done that all accidentally...
Have NO FEAR... You can now START A NEW BEGINNING...
Disclaimer:
I will not be responsible however if you brick your phone. :fingers-crossed:
Here's how:
First, you need to download a stock firmware Lenovo A369i_ROW_S108_130929.
That RAR file will contain 3 folders - namely: Lenovo A369i_ driver file, Lenovo A369i_Software Upgrate Tool and Target_bin. Extract all of them in a convenient directory to work on.
The first thing we need to work on is the drivers for the phone. We will install it first before everything else. To install it, REMOVE BATTERY of phone.
Open Device Manager.
Expand Ports (COM & LPT)
Plug in USB cable. And quickly look for a device which has a name of Preloader that will be installing, but Windows could not find its driver.
For just... like 3 seconds from the moment you plug in USB cable to the phone, it will be gone. So, you need to be fast. Before it will be gone, right click it and click Update Driver. Choose manually install driver and point it to the directory folder Lenovo A369i_ driver file. Now, you will have MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM Port.
Next is the Software Upgrade Tool. Open the folder Lenovo A369i_Software Upgrate Tool and run Flash_tool.exe
Click File -> Open Scatter-loading File... -> browse to the folder Target_bin and click the file MT6572_Android_scatter.txt
Check the box DA DL All With Check..
Unplug USB cable.
Plug it again and after 1.5 sec (you need to be fast), click Download.
If you did it right it will start downloading files into phone. This will let us avoid future errors like error in partition in SDCARD. Wait for the GREEN CIRCLE to pop out.
14. After that, uncheck the box DA DL All With Check.
Unplug USB cable, then plug it again, for 1.5 sec click Firmware -> Upgrade button.
Wait for it, it will take time. Even if it shows 0% it is still working its magic. You just need to wait for the GREEN CIRCLE to pop out.
After that, unplug USB cable.
Put battery on.
Turn on phone.
Wait for it, and BOOM!!!
I am making this guide in case in the future I accidentally destroyed my phone and I forgot to fix it.

Im using Lenovo a369(non-i), i need modem.img file from this firmware because i thought i can enable wcdma-gsm 900 mhz band. i already have the file and i already copy the file to my phone, network is working fine but wcdma-gsm 900 mhz is still disable. i have read a post on China forum that wcdma-gsm 900 mhz band can be enable if i use modem.img from row firmware, unfortunately Lenovo a369 doesn't have row firmware.

Lenovo claims to have done some performance enhancements to their software, besides slapping in a "Powered by Android" logo as per Google's recent licensing mandate. Same installation instructions as usual, and as in my case you may have to reflash your MAC/IMEI address to get rid of the NVRAM error.

Yes this is official firmware

I flashed s110 and it's working really well,
there also a more official firmware of version s111 available, but don't go for s111 because after installing this s111 upgrade you can't install many custom rom
http://lenovo369i.blogspot.in/2014/06/new-firmware-for-lenovo-a369i.html?m=1
so download s110 and flash it using so flash tool, and follow the installation method as pankit explained in this post

Is there any preloader USB driver available for windows 8?
After I upgraded my desktop to windows 8, I am unable to install USB driver for lenovo a369i. So if anyone knows of a working driver file for this device on windows 8 please suggest me the link.....
A369i wont bbot after flashing this rom.. HELP...!!!
I previously had my new lenovo a369i[bought in september 2014] stuck at boot logo due to installing CF3D which wasn compatible with it. Thn i tried to flash TWRP recovery through SP Flash tool which wasn successful as it always showed "PMT error" which i guess was due to different version of preloader as i figured it out that i need a different scatter file but cudn find any unfortunately. I believe my rom had build version like 's201'. Now i have a question, Does the preloader differ with every build..? As i have seen people successfully flashing other stock firmware but when i flashed the rom given in this thread, it was successful but my phone now even wont turn on.. Someone please help me by providing the backup file of preloader and scatter which i can flash to this phone . Or maybe provide me with idea of what should i do. I read on some forums that flashing through SP Tools a backup of the same model phone can unbrick it. But unfortunately no one i know owns this phone here. It wud be a great help if some provides scatter and preloader or possibly even a stock rom which will fix it.

Yeah s201 will not support many custom rom , this may cause bootloop go to this site and downgrade your system to s110 if you want to install custom rom http://lenovo369i.blogspot.in/2014/02/how-to-update.html?m=1
And if you want to stay with s201 then go to this

[Q] Jiayu F1 bricked - What do I do?

Hi there,
I somehow hard bricked my Jiayu F1 WCDMA smartphone (MTK6572) by flashing a wrong ROM (event though it was supposed to be good).
Now, I can connect the phone to the PC and it get's recognised (the bell rings), but I can't flash anything (nor format) through SP Flash Tool, which keeps bumping the "Enable DRAM FAILED" annoying error, no matter what ROM I'm trying to feed it.
I really could use some help, or at least getting a working scatter file, preloader, etc, just to rule out a fault on the flashed files' side.
Thanks a lot.

1. Uninstall all vcom, preloader and MTK drivers using USBdeview then manually install vcom drivers (you can see how to manually install MT65xx (MediaTek) USB VCOM drivers on Windows if you need help doing this)
2. Once you have vcom drivers installed, delete the SP flash tool folder then re-extract a fresh copy
3. I believe you should have go the correct backup now so go ahead and flash it using sp flash tool. you can try meta mode (flash without battery while holding volume up button) if you're still getting the error

Sir,
I port rom cm 12.1 on my MT6582 Lenovo A328 device. As i power it off, it takes time to open and few seconds TWRP appears and i reboot the system and suddenly stucks on the cm logo and i removed the battery and open again and try and try again and it does not open. I thought that my phone is hard bricked so i connect the device without a battery to the computer via usb cable. Open the sp flash tool and open my scatter file and download....but sp flash tool download progress is color red which means connection on port problem. I open device manager and saw ports....MTK USB Port appears to be the kind of my driver's device and I think that it should be MTK Preloader VCom to be able to flash the stock rom.......Hope you understand and thank you so much for your time.....:crying:
