Is your phone rooted? then you can use an app like "screenshot free" from the playstore. maybe there is a way to screenshot without root-rights, just google and im sure you will find something

[APP][4.0+] ICmess : Free Messaging App

Hello all, after month and month of testing, here is my messaging App : ICmess
For 4.0+
Still in Beta, the goal is to have a more "ICS" app than the Stock app.
In fact, my vision of what should be the Stock ICS messaging app, with Slide, simplicity and flow
You can :
- Answer quiclky with a popup
- Create a message with a popup
- Search for conversation
- Sending/Receiving SMS/MMS ( of course, but for the moment you can't send/receive MMS when Wifi is Active )
- Heard your conversation
- Slide to erase your texte
- Slide to come back to the conversation List
All the necessary action, and only the necessary actions. Don't want to Have an other Go SMS.
Feel free to say what you think of it.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Since 2 days you can get it on PlayStore :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.studiopsk.icmes
Since I'm a new user ( since March 2011...never mind ), I can't post Screenshot.
But it's coming
Would love to see this
Would it be like message pro g?
Theme wise?
If so I may have a themer for sk4g use it (if it works on froyo) since the message pro g is paid an lite version dosnt include an darker theme
I will keep up with this app for now
Sent from my SGH-T839 using xda app-developers app
Used it about 5 minutes, so far I've noticed that the text you've just sent stays in the new sms page for 30-40 seconds after being sent. The UI is nice, could do with a Light theme though. Animations are excruciatingly slow, maybe cut them down to 100-150ms, however everything is very smooth.
All in all, it's looking very promising, I'll be continually online and available if you need someone to test stuff.
HTC One V, Paranoid Android.
Oh, and your Play Store link is broken.
The app as a whole looks fairly nice the only thing that really bugs me is the conversation view looks little messy if there's a way to straighten that up I think this will work great also I'm also available for testing if you need a tester

OT: Can we have the final word of this scene please ?
Looks promising !
App is Brilliant.. The UI is absolutely beautiful..
The concept of loading limited messages and pulling down to load more messages is also good..
Few suggestions..
Opening the app has to be a bit fast.. It takes hell a lot of time..
In the threaded view both incoming and outgoing can be white text or atleast have the option to choose according to the need of the user..
But overall.. Great app in such a small size.. Brilliant Dev..
just stepping here, as many said that it is laggy (also i dont have a balance on my phone currently) i just send a thanks and 5 star to motivate the devs..

You can instal it on phone only, Nexus 7 is a tablet.
You need at least ICS ( 4.0 OS ). I Got a Nexus S on ICS, and I can instal it

Inverted apps

Hey guys, I am a big fan of inverted apps and found this project
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183408
I am going to give it a try, but I was wondering if anyone else has tried it before, or anyone was interested. Our amoled screen is capable of saving a lot of energy with black pixels, you know..

only it's TFT, not amoled, so while inverted apps might happen to look nicer, the battery saving will not occur at all

Any large Launcher for my grandma ?

Any advice? I bought a note3 for her but she complain the phone is too complex, the font and button are so small for her. Any large launcher simple enough for her, like a senior phone?

Well I was just about to suggest you try Easy Mode, there isn't anything easier/bigger then that.
Now I don't usually say things like these, but you bought your grandma the wrong phone. A flagship phablet is not for someone who finds Easy Mode confusing. Consumerism must die.
Windows 7 / 8 Launcher. Very simple.
Easier mode is the best. You need to guide her with heart. If easier mode she also can't accept. Then you need to make everything she need to use in one page.

You might root the phone and then in build.prop change screen dpi. Use nova launcher and place everything in one or two pages. Hide dock and status bar(so that she doesn't gets lost) and for battery info use battery widget reborn.
