Need Suggestion for a Larger Battery - Galaxy S 5 Accessories

First time poster.
I currently have a Galaxy S5 as my work phone which has been awesome. I think most Galaxy phones look similar but so far, over all, this is a real good phone.
Now a larger battery would be a plus since it need to receive emails, and make a lot of calls during the day on the road.
Stumbled upon review of a MPJ 8200 mah battery on youtube last night.
I've never seen anyone used extended battery and a total lack of understanding on it, is their price reasonable? What should be paid attention when using extended batteries?
Thank you for any suggestion in advanced.

alright buddy, what you should consider the most is the Bulkiness < almost every extended battery out there for the s5 that exceeds 5400MAH will probably triple the weight of your s5 , i personally chose the ZeroLemon 8500MAH battery because its a well known company for making batteries, i have previously used the MPJ battery for my S2 and it was not bad i liked it ! and plus its way cheaper than ZeroLemon products, but the thing is now alot of people complain about the Shipping Delays it takes them months to get their product from MPJ
i would suggest you to look into either ZeroLemon or Anker both are doing great but keep in mind they will wear down over time meaning you would only enjoy supeer looong battery life for less than a year i believe, and also the worst thing about it is the Heaviness , the heaviness about it is the only thing that bothers me the most.

best one ive seen http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J2H7GLI/ref=gno_cart_title_0?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2S56I9NV45MVV

Or if you want a better and bigger battery AND better case for protection, PLUS a screen protector, CLICK HERE

Another consideration is the Hyperion 6500 mAh extended battery and TPU protective case. It is not as bulky as the Zerolemon 8500.

Interested in buying extended battery

Is there anyone tried extended battery from Batterybay???
I found on google that they have extended battery for Samsung Galaxy S4
http://www.batterybay.net/Battery-for-Samsung-Galaxy-S4-Galaxy-S4-LTE-p/samsung-cs-smi950wl.htm
:victory::victory::victory:
If anyone tried that, can you write some report on it? How is its performance???
I am thinking of buying one but need some user experience to make the decision.
Thanks.
I just bought a 5200mah Hyperion battery on Amazon for $22 shipped. I used a 4200mah Hyperion on my S3 and it worked like a champ!
I'm waiting for Gorilla Gadgets to release an extended battery for our S4. I'm using their 3500mah battery on my old S2 and it increased the screen time from 3 hrs & something to over 8 hrs.
What would be the price you expected for Gorilla gadget?
If it is similar, I may give it a try!!

When I bought it for the S2, it was around $25. I'd imagine that the new S4 one will probably sell for between $40 to $50.
when buying an extended battery, what are the things to look for to make sure you are getting a quality battery that's not worse than the stock one?
i bought mine on ebay. and waiting for it to arrive:good:

The one listed on Batterybay.net is just 22.79. I give it a shot today!!! Wish it is good and longer life as it stated!!

i bought some from this web. it is ok .good price.

though I did not want to change my T699 case

Even though I did not want to change my case, I purchased an extended battery. Really love T699’s bulkier size and prefer precision typing, but my biggest gripe after almost one year of using the phone is its battery life. Received the Mpj 5000 mah battery and I have to admit it’s a dramatic improvement over stock. I am able to tell it definitely double my battery life. Actually I’ve also bought a slim OEM battery claimed extended battery life off ebay months ago but just wish I could retrieve my money, couldn't be more different lol.
Good to know... I'm thinking about this too.
Did You carry phone in the trouser pocket? Isn't too big?! I'm little bit afraid...

how to adapt to extended battery?

Hi,
Just last month I picked up Galaxy Note 4 and I need a spare battery backup. My last Galaxy S3 has several spares from mpj, but I am now having a tough time deciding which kind of spare battery for the Note 4. My concern with the mpj 6440 mah is the increased size/weight with the case, but on the other hand extended battery life is going to be exactly twice times as capacious as the standard battery. I’ve never used extended battery, how did you guys adapt to them? Is it worth a try?
I have a selection for different use cases. I've got some OEM batteries to swap out when needed, and a Hyperion extended battery for those times when a bulkier phone is less trouble that swapping batteries.
If you're ok with adding some bulk to your phone, you're definitely should give it a try. Basically, you have 2 options: Hyperion (8000 mAh, not much of the bulk) and Zerolemon (10000 mAh, but makes Note 4 brick sized and have lots of issues with battery level reading). I'm waiting for my Hyperion to arrive, so from my point of view, I would recommend a Hyperion.

Best battery with no issues
BAD ASS NOTE 4 + BAD ASS GEAR S
Mugen also has a battery coming out. It's 6640 mAh, which is basically twice the size of the oem battery and suppose to have Qi wireless charging and NFC for 89.99. Im going with the Hyperion myself
Mugen battery looks nice but its way too expensive (http://mugen.co/mugen-power-6640mah...-samsung-galaxy-note-4-with-battery-door.html). Zerolemon seems to have issues with calibration which sounds it is due to its TriCell. I for one am thinking of getting the Hyperion battery. However, I contacted ZeroLemon about a week ago and they told me that they were releasing a smaller size extended battery in 2 weeks. I would prefer this one, if its true, because they have a nicer case and hopefully its only a single cell battery also.

Wow, they want to build some suspense, huh?
I've used extended batteries before but with the great battery life of the N4 and it's aggressively styled good looks I found having an extra battery is all I need. I actually don't even need it with my 7 hour screen on time but I like having even more than that for intense days. The spare battery gives me all the battery life I need plus some and my N4 doesn't look like a weapon/brick.

He probably using stock spare. Pics are posted all over threads of how the phone looks. Really just 2 options in looks . a ugly slippery back or a huge brick that can go for days. Either it depends on how bad u need the phone to survive.
BAD ASS NOTE 4 & BAD ASS GEAR S
Mugen Battery 6440 mAH
I got the Mugen battery for the Note 4 just for 4 days now and it is nice. I got around 10-12 hrs screen on time but the percentage is still dropping fast.
The back cover is fine for me (not slippery)
When I check CPU-Z the battery capacity states that it is only 3220 mAH, is it possible to adjust this? I found a Mugen battery profile app but it is outdated from 2013 and root is required.
Can anyone help me?
I've tried them in the past but the size of them always put me off in the end. Note 4 has adaptive fast charging so for me I could just plug it in at work mid day and bump back up to 100 before leaving the office and the whole thing became moot. Its a shame I need 2 charges to get me through the day though, but oh well.
The choices for extended battery cases are simply too insufficient!
Zerolemon is the best it protect you phone and also support NFC :good:

TQTHL Samsung Galaxy S5 Battery | 3200mAh

Does anyone have this battery or have had a battery from this company? I am looking for a little bit more power then stock but don't want to add bulk to my phone any info would be great thanks!
I found it on Amazon here is the link.
https://www.amazon.com/TQTHL-Samsung-Replacement-T-Mobile-Warranty/dp/B06XDPDCZV/
You can't add capacity without adding size. So 3200mah is really 2800mah like all other stock size batteries.
I'd recommend Anker or RAVPower

This is not exactly true. Capacity has been increasing every year since lithium was introduced. The real problem is that most manufacturers didn't spend as much on battery development like Samsung did. So to get more capacity in the same sized battery would be quite a feat although not impossible.

I think it's safe to say that any 3rd party sellers of S4 batteries are not sinking R&D into new battery chemistry and design. But you will see lots of false specs
i'v had a 6200mAh TQTHL on my S4(which my son inherited , and now i have two 3200mAh of the same brand on my S5 and the wife's phone..
i think this is a good battery. i bought my S5 used, so i can't say how much it fares against the original samsung battery, but i can tell you that i'v had over 4 hours screen-on-time and this is with 3G/wifi always on, maybe 30 minutes of calls, mostly web-browsing (opera browser), and some simple game a few times during the day.
what i like about this brand is that the batteries didn't fail after months of use, like some other cheap brands. the 6200mAh on his S4 is over a year old, and it still performs admirably.
if the price is right for you then i suggest you go ahead and buy one, i'm sure you won't regret it(unless you're unlucky and get a lemon, which wasn't my case). if its not better than the original then its definitely not any worse, since its half the price

You can get that battery and others on Ebay, or Amazon.

Any suggestions from personal experience on which is the best battery replacement

I just replaced my original battery with a Max Baer high capacity battery at 3600mAh and it's just as bad as my old original battery. It's draining just as fast. I need to purchase another battery so anyone with experience with purchasing any batteries. If you can give me some advice on which one you bought and how well it did would be great cuz I would hate to buy another one after I buy this one, so any advice would be grateful. And theven MaxBeat high capacity battery was even rated higher than at 3600mAh and the original battery was 3200mAh or close to that number. so I would have thought that this max Baer battery would have done pretty good but it's as a right now not holding up to my standards I have to charge it like twice a day. Once again any suggestions would be greatly appreciate it thank you
Never heard of MaxBaer/MaxBeat or whatever it is - is it the same physical size as the original battery? If so, there is no way it can be 3600mAh. I wouldn't touch anything other than RavPower - as far as I'm aware there are no genuine Samsung ones left and Anker has stopped making them. RavPower: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B072N5G4RB
I'm a ZeroLemon fan. Granted it makes the phone larger and people always comment on how large my phone is, though I have used phones as large as Red Bricks for work (Intermec) so it's small by comparison. I don't use the belt clip with it since I have cargo pockets.
Based on my personal experience, Stalion® Strength Note 4 Replacement Battery gives a great performance compared to the original for a normal (not extended battery) and sells at a very good price too. Also 4500mah Golden Battery though its performance is the same as a 3220mah Stalion but comes at a cheaper price.
I have got them from eBay.
I have tried Maxbear and powerbear, neither of which are any good in my experience. I also have two from anker and those were good but they're old now. I just this week bought an extended shenMZ 7500 mAh battery but that is not even lasting an entire day so I think it may have been sitting for a while. I think part of the problem may be that some of these batteries have been sitting in a warehouse for a long time unused. Somebody in this thread said that the RavPower batteries are still good. I also hear from another thread that the TQTHL extended 11800mah batteries are good as well. Has anybody bought a battery in the past few months that doesn't suck?
