Invitation to discuss the capabilities of rooted Android phones

Hi everyone,
I'm in the midst of trying to understand the full potential of a rooted Android phone, and have started a thread here. I wish to invite users with good knowledge of what a rooted phone could do to contribute to the thread here:

[Q] Looking for a Recognized Developer to interview!

Hi there. I've been a member of XDA for a few years, brought here to learn how to muck about with my old first-generation Galaxy S. The experience has been extremely educational and I've learned lots of things about mobile devices, how they work and the various miscellany related to the industry.
Partially because of my experiences here on XDA, I decided to come here and seek data! For a school project I'm working on a look at the state of open-source on mobile devices, which Android will naturally be a prominent part of. As a part of this project--which spans across several essays that will eventually be posted to a blog--I need to interview an expert in the field of whatever it is I'm researching.
To that end I'd like to get in touch with a Recognized Developer here on XDA for an interview, preferably over Skype or some other instant messaging client, so I can easily record the conversation and implement the interview into my articles and essays.
The requirements for the interview are pretty simple--it just needs to be a short interview with an expert in the field focused on by my research topic. The questions I intend to ask range from overall broad questions about the state of open-source on mobile devices and more specific questions about Android, rooted app development and/or ROM development and things of that nature.
Anyway if anyone's interested in doing something like this please let me know, either by replying to this thread or by sending me a PM.

[Completed] I'm the new girl :) where to post?

Hi, I'm new here. Thank you for allowing me to join. I own a group of software companies that create easy to use products, no programming knowledge is needed. Our web site for windows makes apps for android & Apple, no programming needed, and you own 100% native source code! Our app for Mac does the same job. These are popular tools that people love working with, is there a place on this forum I can post links to our products? Or let people know about them? I don't want to violate any rules here. Thanks
Hi @Appbuzzingal.
That's great! Sounds like this website is generally for all Android devices thus you can post it here: Android Software.
If you feel this is a really exceptional piece of software you can PM one of the XDA Portal writers to feature it there. I'd recommend a friend of mine: @eagleeyetom.
Cheers!

[Completed] LG L50

i have been looking a lot of information about this device and then only thing i could do is rooting it .... so what i and a lot of L series users want is to you pay more attention to this series because all we want custom roms and official support ... you have help me a lot with other devices but with my new one a cant :/ so please we will be so grateful if you start working in this LG series .... thanks a lot.
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. It isn't up to XDA Developers to decide which devices get the most development, XDA simply provides a place for people to get together and share their work and ideas. It's up to the developers to make the decision of which device(s) they want to develop for. Unfortunately low-spec devices such as the L50 rarely receive any development, because they're low-spec they're also low popularity, and developers generally develop for popular devices to make it worth their while. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Even though you may not receive any custom ROMs for your phone, if you can root it you can still customise it through the use of the Xposed Fraemwork and modules. I'd suggest you take a look:
Xposed - General info, versions & changelog
Xposed Framework Modules
Good luck with your phone.
