wifi hotspot tethering and normal wifi operations conflict [SOLUTION] - Android Apps and Games

I did a research on how to conserve battery, internet data and ram in android without the need for root privilege, one of the application used was mobiwol firewall. I just discovered that the version 4.1.2 is causing conflict between wi-fi hotspot tethering and normal wi-fi operations as seen in the picture. Try to use other versions.

Mystery Data Usage

My data usage shows the majority of my data coming from "Android OS." Is it normal? Can I limit it?

Could be download something. Check the 'download" from app drawer
Stripped it down and reinstalled the rom. No issues since. I think the culprit could've been youtube music but no way of knowing for sure.

is this battery usage normal?

Get around 4 hours screen time with 4G always on and no battery saving mods. Most bloatware disabled , after factory reset.

Yes, that's a pretty normal usage.
Even if you don't have Location, High performance, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi or Mobile data always enabled.

After the root power saving mode issues on Galaxy S8

Hi, before it has never been this way. But probably after the root progress, if I chose 'background network usage' when the power saving mode, wifi or mobile data doesn't work. I see wifi or mobile data icon but any internet connection. Please help me.
