Hi Guys,
I got my one back in June, unlocked the bootloader and rooted first thing. It ran great for the first couple of months. A few weeks back the screen would become unresponsive to touch, so I decided to try Paranoid. That ran great and also fixed the touchscreen problems. Today, I did a reboot, and now I'm stuck into some kind of bootloop, and the screen is unresponsive to touch when I get into TWRP so I cannot do anything in there. I can also get to the fastboot screen.
ANyone know what's going on or how I could fix this? THanks!
Have you tried flashing the stock fastboot images?

Yes, it didn't fix the problem...
Give a few more details of this "some kind of bootloop". I have a help thread/guide/fix for a certain type of boot loop which I dub "the brickloop" http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=55488755
If you feel this is your issue just follow my instructions

Hi,
My friend's Moto G has been acting really weird over couple of weeks, first it started freezing, then started to work really slow and now it doesn't want to boot into Android as it gets stuck on Motorola logo.
He hasn't done any rooting, changing ROMs whatsoever, the problem just came out of nowhere.
He's not able to boot into recovery as it gets stuck on Motorola logo.
What could be the cause of this?
Is there any way to fix it?
Thanks.

Thanks for reply, the warranty just finished a week ago. I'll try to reflash it through fastboot using this method here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219 but doubt it will work.
Thanks.
EDIT: Reflashed Stock ROM and everything works fine, weird.
Hello everyone, one year ago I rooted my Note 2. After the root, the booting screen already started to act weird.
At first, it shows the galaxy logo completely normally, but after a second, the screen begins to fuzz or something, i will post a video where you can see.
That weird booting screen stopped after the device was start up. A week later, I updated to 4.3 I think. Everything still worked normally. Again, a week later I woke up and the fuzzy thing has been the only thing it did. I tried to put stock rom back on as download mode still works perfectly (no fuzzy screen in download mode, everything stands perfectly still. However the fuzz thing is in that other mode, where I can wipe cache/factory reset/etc). I don't know which rom version I have now (I tried so many), the only thing I know is that it's the international device.
Could somebody please help me?
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. The problem sounds more like a hardware issue than software. If you've flashed the stock firmware and you still have the issue it's almost always hardware. You could try asking your question here to see if anyone else has experienced your problem, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-2

Hello guys.
I apologize for making yet another "my phone is soft-bricked" thread, but I have been through at least 20-25 of the other threads, seemingly tried everything, and I can't get past my problem. Also, most of the other threads I saw are pretty old and not really active anymore. A few of the tools there can't even be downloaded anymore because the links are dead.
Anyway, here's my story.
I have a 16 GB US retail XT1032 that I bought mostly to give tech support to my parents, whom I also bought a 8GB each. Theirs, I left untouched. Mine, I unlocked bootloader and rooted right away. All went well for a long time.
My parents kept receiving OTA's and it took them all the way to Lollipop. Me being rooted, I got stuck in KitKat somewhere (I'm not 100% sure whether that was in 4.4.2 or 4.4.4), but since it wasn't my daily driver, I let it lie as stock rooted KitKat. Recently I wanted to go to Lollipop in order to keep seeing "the same things" as my parents, and I installed TWRP in preparation to flash a "stock enhanced" version of Lollipop. TWRP flashed fine but there was something funny all along: I could use ADB or a root app to boot into recovery from the ROM, but I could never manage to get the phone to go into recovery by booting into fastboot (vol down+power) and then choosing recovery. Screen would go black and recovery would never load.
So I copied a "stock" Lollipop image and booted into TWRP from the ROM and wiped everything and tried flashing the Lollipop ROM. It got stuck somewhere part way, and a few hours later there was no more progress.
Ever since then, I am stuck in fastboot. Fastboot seemingly works correctly, recently I was able to flash an OG animation to get rid of the nasty "your bootloader is unlocked" warning. I can flash recoveries (TWRP and/or CWM) without error on the phone or the computer, but when I try to then boot into recovery using the bootloader, I get stuck on the black screen and go nowhere.
As others in the various threads have commented, when I try to boot "normally", I get the boot animation and a vibration and then it gets stuck.
I have tried so many things by reading different threads I couldn't tell you anymore what all of them were. I've gotten errors about downgrading, I've gotten stuck in fastboot reason: "failed flash", I've gotten flashing errors about the size of recovery or boot or gpt. What I've never managed to do again is to boot into anything other than bootloader. No recovery and no ROM.
Could someone with a bit of experience please point me to some working links and/or when you have the time, help me look at a couple of logs or something that can help me figure out where my problem lies and how to get out of it? my daily driver phablet died a gruesome death and I wanted to go back to my trusty moto g, to no avail.
Thank you very much to whomever can help.
Ruben.
Try to reflash full stock firmware for your device according to your bootloader version. Hope it helps....
Try typing in fastboot devices
Hi there,
I've got quite a peculiar problem with my Nexus 5.
Last night, I left my phone on charge. It was working normally and the software was functional etc. However, once I woke up, the phone was constantly restarting itself, and wouldn't load past the boot animation. I tried to load up fastboot to enter the TWRP recovery, however, the phone froze on the load screen. I should also add that my custom boot animation was replaced by the CyanogenMod mascot.
This problem has never occurred before, and I really haven't got a clue how to fix it. I tried to use WugFresh's NRT to flash a factory image of Android 6, however, the command terminal indicated that each process had failed. This did not restore the phone to its original condition.
I should also point out that I have been running a CM 12.1 nightly, which has been very stable and I have been using this nightly, without major problems (bar the infrequent system UI crashes) for a couple of months. It is obviously rooted and I have a Nandroid backup, which I can't access for aforementioned reasons.
Please help me to bring back my phone! This is literally driving me nuts, and I haven't so far found a solution that works! I would be happy to clarify and elaborate upon any point of information.
Thanks,
Sami

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
Looks like you made your way to the right spot. Cool!
Hope it helps.
Hey everyone,
Up until recently, I've had no issues with my Zenfone 6. However last night the camera started acting up when I was trying to take a picture and the app suggested I restart my device inorder to rectify the problem. I followed the prompt and ever since last night my phone has been stuck in a boot loop. I have stock everything on this phone, I have experimented with roms and kernels in the past but didn't feel the need on this phone. I followed deadman96385 guide on how to unbrick your Zenfone but still have the same problem. I can't enter my recovery instead it just kicks me back to the boot screen. Unforchuntly, it is not unlocked so I have no way to flash twrp and install a fresh version of Android. I contacted Asus and their support suggested I find a local technician but I'm hoping git won't have to come to that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
