clove.co.uk are selling it. found some ebay stores selling it as well
Well, that's true and I also found some Dutch sellers, but I can't see anywhere that they already have them in stock. Also Clove is mentioning it, but I can't see what the delivery time is, whether they have it in stock. Or am I missing that?:silly:

Indeed, also available in NL: https://www.knaldeals.com/producten...-dock-xperia-z3-z3-compact-dk48-black-1040086
I got mine and it works fine with the phone naked, but in a case I bought it becomes too wide even for the larger insert.
Never mind though, as I've ordered the Sony official windowed flip cover.
It's hard to get excited when you now have 3 other docks (one from the Z1, one for the Z2 and the Z1 Compact) and know that all you need is to order 3 x Z3 inserts and job done.
I assume they can be obtained somewhere as parts, but haven't got a clue where.
Any1 else experiencing very slow charging with the dock?`
Charging from 50% to 75% took me like 1.5 hours whilst using the micro-usb it goes way faster.

Charged mine on the dock today it went pretty fast, like 25 minutes for 25%. It's possibly the cable you are using to connect the dock?

Hmm okay, I was suspecting that as well, but I've been using the cable that came with the dock. Going to try another cable though just to be on the safe side!

Ah, my one didn't come with a cable, just the dock.
Edit: thought I'd update this, I used it again today from flat and in 1.5h it has charged 55%. So not amazing but not too bad either.
I bought DK48 several days ago for my Z3 Compact and can confirm that with EP880 Charger which come with phone i can charge ~60% in 1.5 hours. I didn't tried with phone turned off, maybe will get 5-10% more...
Never had problems with mine. It takes the same time as the charger alone

I received my g2x on Tuesday. Been working fine. I received my MicroHDMI cable yesterday, and decided to give the HDMI mirroring a try. The minute I plugged the cable in to the phone, it shut off and locked up. Pulled the battery, let it sit, put the battery back in, turned the phone on, and the battery (which had a full charge) was now showing 0%. I plugged the phone in to the charger and that's when the area around the camera became too hot to touch. So I called T-Mo and now I've got to mail it off for a replacement. Fun stuff.
where did you get your cable from? i ordered mine from ebay.
I bought one off Amazon. Looks like a quality cable. Unfortunately I didn't save the link.
I got it last night and played some Need for Speed on my 24" monitor.

I've heard of cheap cables shorting out the device when you touch the metal rim of the phone accidentally with the HDMI cable...
This cable has worked fine for me so far:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004C3AW40
I had the exact same thing happen to mine, and I did the exact same thing, replacement is on the way. I got mine from monoprice though.
After reading a few of these stories, I'm pretty paranoid about trying the HDMI port on my G2x!
i get all my cables from monoprice.com
dirt cheap and high quality.
sorry to hear about the issue with your phone though. hopefully this doesnt become a common issue.
Same here. Completely fried the phone. Got the bad one from monoprice. Ordered another one from amazon and it works great.

The same thing happened on my phone with the monoprice cable. I don't know if the cable fubar'ed the phone, or the battery.
My phone initially wouldn't turn on for several hours, but it finally work up later (but the battery now won't hold a charge). And the phone stays hot when the damn thing isn't even turned on!
OH BOY!
This is not good. How is everyone hooking up their phone? Are you connecting to the tv first then the phone? Cuz I'm wondering if it makes a difference or not.

Completely fried the phone? did you get a new phone for the 2nd cord? or what happened
Sounds like the common theme here is MONOPRICE. So I'd beware of purchasing their cables! On mine you can still smell the burning smell from the inside of the phone, and the battery won't stay charged for 6 hours when before I was getting easily a full day.

Shipping is supposedly fast. Also it's a different seller from the Amazon.COM listing. So it may not ship from China. The order confirmation page says that it ships soon so could come from Canada for all we know.
Every review says the charger produces a very loud beep whenever it starts or completes a charge. Very annoying.
I wonder if its an easy fix like the other chargers. Open and pull the speaker wire. I am not looking forward to some beep telling me that my phone is done charging while I try to sleep.

Hm, I'll wait on some of you guys to do a review on this product. I need a cheap and working wireless charger for my nightstand.
mine just arrived. Shipped from California, seller was 'gigacity_amn'. Here's the video
It literally just arrived this evening - initial testing looks good, but I'll give it a few days of overnight and see how it runs. I'll be using my S-Line TPU case with it.

Been using it at work since it arrived. It works great - the beep is incredibly shrill, especially in an office environment, but it charges quickly and doesn't get too hot.
I will note that this particular charger does NOT top up the battery, so it's not good for overnight charging. Once your phone hits 100%, the charger stops charging, and doesn't kick back on until you physically remove the phone from the pad for a few seconds. It's great for the office or any other environment where you just need a quick top-up, but again, not good for overnight charging.

I have the WCP-300, its output is 1A. Works *awesome* with the Nexus 4, and even keeps it topped up so it works great as an overnight charger.
So, I bought my TF700T back in February from an American site (They had a discount that would make it much cheaper than buying it from Denmark.)
However, I forgot that it would not come with an EU compatible charger, so I was stuck with my HTC charger, which could charge the tablet itself, but not the dock. Because I finally got to a point where I've had enough, I went out and bought the original charger from Asus.
However, after having it charge for a few hours, the dock still shows 0%.
I've tried to charge it both with and without the tablet attached, nothing changed.
I looked at some threads that tells me that I should plug the dock into the USB for 5-10 min. and then back to the charger, but that didn't work either.
What can I possibly do?
The dock is blinking orange, so clearly there's a connection, and the charger works fine for the tablet, just not the dock.
Oh, and I'm rooted and unlocked on default ROM.

Loads of places you can buy a charger from. Or buy a plug adapter, US charger should work in Denmark.

Sorry I didn't read your thread properly......
How long are you letting it charge for, could be the battery is completely dead or malfunctioning in the dock.

It's been charging for well over 48 hours at this point, and still nothing. The tablet gets charged through the dock just fine, but the dock itself stays at 0%.
I'm gonna go ahead and bump this.
It's been nearly two months, and still no solution.

I would say your dock battery is dead. There's a video on YouTube on how to tear down and replace it. No idea though how much a replacement battery would be...
You wouldn't still be under warranty, would you?

I should be, the only problem is that I bought the tablet in America, and I live in Denmark, Europe, so idk. Shipping will be expensive, unless I can send it to ASUS Europe?

Call your Asus service center or open a ticket online. They will direct you to the nearest service center. The warranty is worldwide - so you should not have any problems.

Same problem here
It seems I am having exactly the same problem. My dock battery is shown as 0% charged and it is blinking orange.
Was there any solution to this problem? Could this be software related and being fixed by another firmware (by the way: does the dock have its own firmware?)? Or is this more hardware related and the dock battery is just broken and needs a replacement.
I bought my dock used and separated from the TF700. Anyway I will try to contact Asus support to see what their answer is.
Regards
Sven
tf700 only charges when docked
I have the opposite problem. I got a refurbished tf700 and dock. The tablet will only charge when docked. It won't charge directly from charger.
Tablet was completely dead when it arrived. It's now charged up to 18% (dock started at 53% and is now down to 2%), but still only charges with the dock. Will charge all night to see if that changes anything.

Hey,
So basically on amazon i purchased a cheap Dock for my Xperia Z3, and it's been working fine for about 2 weeks, and for some reason it's started to charge so slow like my Phone would sit on that dock and only reach 31% with a full nights charge, however i purchased an adapter cable to test the port, and it seemed it's been charging normally, ;/
Many cheap docks use crappy poor quality plugs and cables... That's probably what's happening here. The cable or plug is not drlivering enough power to the battery...
I once bought a cheap dock and the charging got interrupted every 30 seconds..
Hope this helps you a little.
Cheers

So the last few weeks my S8 has been charging really slow.. it doesn't actually say 'Slow Charging', it still pops up with Fast Charging when plugged in (original charger with no damage).
It used to charge from pretty much dead to full in about an hour or so but now it's completely different. When I plug it in from about 20% it says around 2 hours to fully charged with fast charge.
Anyone else had this issue? My charger seems fine, always treated it well etc. My carrier (EE) has told me to contact Samsung but I just thought this would be worth a shot first.
Thanks

I am experiencing the exact same problem with my s8 plus. Its just been the past few weeks. I've tried switching out the cable and the AC adapter and nothing. I think I read somewhere that a recent update killed fast charging on some s8 plus models so I'm hoping that If it is a software issue it will be fixed when they roll out the next update. Otherwise I don't know what to do.
