i have successfully installed CWM on my inew v8 but do not have an ex sd card so when i try to flash superSU to root CWM cannot find my internal sd card and i cannot locate it in CWM can anyone help please
Hi,
I'm afraid I can find nothing relevant about your device. I can say on every device I've ever owned, most file managers, recoveries included call it sdcard, internal sd, maybe emulated 0...or something like that.
If you still can't find it, you will need to ask for help here...

The manufacture for my tablet an irulu x7 running 4.4.2 posted an update that is a zip file containing PhoenixCard & and img file with instructions on how to use it to format the sd card. I followed all of the directions and it says that it finished. The SD card still appears to have no files in windows, when I put the sd card into my tablet and boot up it is supposed to automatically start the install of the new rom (don't have to go into recovery). Of course it does nothing and just boots up normally.
So is there something else I can do another program to get the img onto the SD card they way it should be, or another way to install the img file to the tablet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
I can't find any information about your issue on XDA. You will need to ask here...

Hopefully someone that knows about your tablet will be able to help you.
Good luck!
I have a Blue studio 5.5s and after flashing a font it would not boot, I couldn't get a stock rom so I used a My Phone Ocean Pro custom rom that worked. However for some reason the SD CARD will not mount I see it and access it in CWM and flash the phone but android does not see it.
It seems like the whole file system is restricted I tried root explorer an tried to mount it and I receive the message "Sd card is not currently mounted" and in settings for the system the sd card area is not accessible just white. I know the card is good cause CWM sees it and I flash from it but for some reason android is not seeing it nor mounting. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device on this issue. Just because a rom for another device flashed successfully, doesn't mean you won't face issue.... Which may be your problem. You may need a rom specifically made for your device, or the stock firmware.

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
It is possible that the SDcard is in a format the ROM does not recognize (like exFAT). If you put it back into the PC, back up the contents, reformat as FAT32 and then restore the files, it should work.

No support from zeki. They said sorry can't help. And past any warranty to return.
Zeki tablet TBQG884B kitkat 4.4.2
I tried a swap ram thing to try increase memory size/speed.
dev_mount sd card change
I didn't quite know what I was doing. Didn't make a backup, etc.
I rooted tablet with kingoroot it's still on it. So is superuser but it asks to download binary files again, but can't because no sd card mounted. Internal or external.
It won't connect to computer usb debuging or mass storage at all.
I can no longer get into system files file explorer etc., to try to reverse/fix what I did.
It said nand flash something instead of sd in video. I now know I shouldn't of edited it.
Is there any way I fix it. Maybe put a different OS on it? If that would fix it? Maybe something from google/android and kitkat?
It works as far as going online with brower. But not much more. won't mount either sd.
I looked everywhere and trying everything. Please help. Thanks.
It said in video to go into sysytem files and change ...

Hi,
I can't find any helpful info on this. You should be able to do what you are suggesting, but you need a proper flashable file. And usually that would be a custom ROM. And you'd likely need a custom recovery as well.
As far as accessing the card, you should have an option in your recovery to "mount" and may need to mount the SD card.
Again, I can't find much about this anywhere, so I'm just tossing out ideas. You can register on the site and create a thread here to see if you can find further help, http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
Or contact RCA support.
Good luck! :good:
