Well, I know I said I was retired but I felt a little bored tonight so I decided to make a few launcher icons. You can download them individually if you only want one or you can download the flashable.zip to get them all.
If gmail and hangouts doesnt change, just go into /data/app and delete the one that isn't themed.
They are from a 4.4.3 De-odexed rom so only use that.
EDIT: I now added theming for the main Icons in Settings.

What rom are you running? The gallery apk is actually an htc update that gets dropped in data/app. Check in there and see if you have 2 apk's. Also its possible that the rom dev updated it and put it in system/priv-app already in which case mine may not take effect.
As far as file manager, I will have to look at that. Did you have it before? Are you on an odex or deodex rom? Maybe to troubleshoot, go into app manager, slide to the right until you get to all, find File Manager and clear its data. Then try running it again. Let me know what you find.

ok, i uploaded a new version of the file that includes the gallery in the original place as well in case the dev replaced it with the new version. Also, maybe the file manager just uploaded bad so see if it works this time.
Running the latest cleanrom with no mods. Latest zip fixed gallery but file manager still FC. Clearing cache & data, still a no go. Thanks!

That's so weird because it works great for me. Did you have it before you got mine? If so maybe check /system/app and /system/priv-app and see if there is another copy still that you can remove.

I updated the flashable zip so it is vrtheme... you shouldn't lose your other theming now.
I now added theming for the main Icons in Settings. The only icon I couldn't find yet is the printer icon but the rest are themed. Just redownload the flashable zip and flash it again. I'll put pics up late.
for those of you that installed the flashable earlier today, you may want to download it and flash it again, i found the missing printer icon so settings is fully themed now. I also fixed the link :fingers-crossed:

I have been trying to change the settings icon in my app drawer.
I have edited the icon in settings.apk, systemui.apk framwork-res.apk and com.htc.resources.apk but it is still showing the orgional icon.
I have been able to edit all the icons in the settings menu, but not the main icon its self.
Can anybody tell me what I need to edit?
I am using ICS sense 3.6 with 3.32.401.5_R as the rom base.

I would think it would be Settings/res/drawable-hdpi/common_app_ic_launcher_settings.png
Do you have a skin or anything applied that may be overriding your edited icon?

Looking at an extraction of the apk and I'm having second thoughts...
I don't have access to decompile to check resources, but it looks as though settings may be using mipmap:

Flash in cwm. I would suggest wiping data for FlashBarService.apk in Titanium Backup or Settings/applications then reboot..

* Flash my mod

PLEASE NOTE -
If you had any issues in LS7 they will still be here in this mod.
Not all apps scale in Multi Window
If there is more than one page of apps the bottom page will not go on to bar properly.
Any issues wipe data for flashbarservice apk as stated above. This will move all apps into Multi Window bar. From here using the Bar edit button you can drag out the ones you don't use
This mod is made for standard dpi. If you want it for 240, 213 etc it may resize incorrectly. Before you ask; I will not be making mod for this

Flashed it, I used the multiwindow hack from alliance rom thread and I got this kind of bug

Even after I flashed your modded multi window with the apk wipe, still the same. I heard in alliance rom thread there is a working flashable multiwindow hack but I am lost right now whether robbie has released the fixed version or not

it won't work. You will need new LS7 firmware
Works also on Alliance Rom v0.2
I just copied over the two files to the right folder and set permissions and rebooted.
Before I renamed the existing files into .bak,
just in case it doesn't work

I'll try, but it is going to be difficult. From what I understand, it is a change to the framework-res.apk and a android.policy.jar or something file, but they use a set matching memory code, and the framework from the rom with the reboot option will probably not be compatable with your rom, with all the other tweaks and mods made.
You're best bet would be to just flash the rom with the reboot option to make sure everything works fine. I flashed it on my 8013 and with the ondemand governor, all works fine

Try this, I haven't tested it, make sure that you make a backup in recovery first. If it flashes and the stuff is not compatible, you will be stuck in a boot loop and need to restore from recovery.
There is also a chance that it does not flash, I have had some issue with some of my zips periodically not flashing right sometimes on the note 10.1
If you get an error while trying to flash, just reboot, unzip with something like rom toolbox, then rezip it back up and then it should work.

It seems to work fine for me so far, I restored to darkman_rs and flashed the zip, Worked fine so far and the reboot works as well

Do you want me to take the link down? I had asked on your rom thread, I figured it was just a small part of it and I had been working on trying to do it myself for a while but all the guides on it I have been able to find have not worked for me.

If you want change lockscreen icons u have to decompile the systemui and framework-res brcause thats where the icon most likely reside if cm rom is using yahoo weather app it maybe in there also it will be a lengthy task personally I wouldbjust stick withbwhats there lol make sure you check the setting options to make sure it doesnt allow u change it in there

Thank you BC but I have tried that (twice). I'll try it a third time to be sure. The first two times I thought maybe the installer wasn't that up to date, but maybe it was a bad download. -I'll see what happens and update this post when I find out..
Edit: Holy shiznasty!, third time really is a charm. Crazy. The first two times I did a fresh download and was convinced the installer didn't like my phone or it was out of date with some recent cm10 change. But I just downloaded it again and the installer finally launched!
Soaking in the glory of nice new lockscreen icons! !!!

While theme store is still empty, is there a way to download manually some theme for Galaxy S7 running last 7.0 beta?
Would also be interested in this. I saved the Material Dark theme with titanium backup but I can only apply it as a demo (seems to be a paid theme now?). Maybe someone can upload the Android N theme. It was super clean and also had all the N stock sounds.
Installing the APKs will work, but it only gives you the trial version of the theme, so you have to disable the theme store with a disabler to prevent it from switching back after 5 minutes. If you do find out where to find the themes to download, please let me know. I extracted the APKs for the material design theme from my mother's S6, but I'd really like a few more.

If you have root and root explorer you can also follow these steps. Worked for me.
How to install:
1. Start root browser or your preferred file manager
2. Go to /data/overlays/jsonfiles and move com.YOURTHEME.json from trialjson to userjson.
3. Delete the /data/overlays/preferences folder
4. Restart your phone
Here's another simple theme that works, but if you're not rooted you'll have to disable the 2 theme store apps to make it permanent.

Ok, so I just found out that if you've already downloaded or paid for a theme, it will actually let you download and install it!! The trick is that you need to find a link to the theme somewhere... I just downloaded 2 themes from KENDI and MINU that I've already bought and they worked perfectly! If you can get someone to send you a link to a theme you want, you will be able to use it.
Just found the link but i have galaxy S7 since friday and i have never bought a theme before...
Heare are some grace ux themes ITS TRAIL VERSION it means that you need a disabler for the theme to work.
Erm btw you could get debloater for it to work
