My xperia L is running on the stock 4.2 jellybean. Software is updated and latest but im experiencing a very weird battery drain. Battery drains normally to 60%. After that it suddenly jumps down 5 or 6% in 10 mins when the phone is idle. Is anyone else facing the same issue. Ive re installed the software but no luck. Need help ASAP

i upgraded my samsung galaxy 3 i5801 firmware to android 2.2 about a month back from samsung kies
here are the problems i encountered
the inbuilt launcher doesnt works-
it simply doesnt after a lot of pain i managed to get the launcher pro working
no matter how much i charge the battery usually after 1-2 hours of usage it shows a low battery warning and automatically shuts down but when i restart it the battery is back to either 100% or 50%
and my galaxy 3 is slower than ever
it takes 5-6 mins to load the gallery
god knows what happened to my cell phone it was working normaly with the stock 2.1 rom that came preloaded with the phone didnt expect it from samsung
is there anyone else over here who has faced similar problems
whats the best possible remedy??
is there a fully functional tried and tested custom 2.2/.3 firmware that is compatible with indian samsung galaxy 3 if so enlighten me
regards
ashish saluja
Flash ddjp6 is indian 2.2 latest upgrade or xxjpu is the europe version.calibrate your battery after flashing new rom with the help of battery calibrator.
Edit: plz.flash the rom with the help of odin multidownloader.if your battery is more than year old then you have to replace it,but before that try to full charge the battery when it is completely drain and then calibrate the battery.

I recently installed clean n tweaked rom for Xperia l by serajr. It's a wonderful rom. But I encountered a problem with fast Battery drain i.e drain from 100% to 69% in a single hour after complete charge with the phone just being idle. I'm a noob and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. Someone please help.

Try to calibrate the battery...
I've tried Bliss and Temasek's CM 13 with a few kernels and I always have this constant battery drain which makes sure my tablet is dead by evening, every day, no matter how little I use it. Does anybody know a ROM + kernel combination that doesn't have this constant excessive battery drain?
If it makes a difference, I have a K1, and I don't use GApps.
u wouldnt hav a ZIP copy of the temasek cm13 build would ya @Trafalgar Square 's thread is closed and links r 404
Stock Lollipop. That and battery safer when screen is off.
