[Q] My Micromax A110 Doesn't Boot :( - Micromax A110

Hi,
Am a newbie in problem resolution of phone. Looking for some tips.
I have a Micromax A110. And suddenly it started showing the screen with words and an option "Reset Phone". But that option never worked. Nothing happened when tried pressing that button.
So read some sites, and used the volume up + volume down + power button. Went into "recovery mode" using volume up.
(There was one more option with volume down: 'recovery mode')
Within that 3 options
Recovery Mode
Fastboot Mode
Normal Boot
Used Recovery Mode and did:
wipe data/factory reset. Completed.
wipe cache partition. Completed.
Now the mobile doesn't boot. It flashes the "CANVAS" and stays there forever.
What should I be doing now to boot my mobile / or make it usable?
I have never come across this in the past.
Also P.S: I have not rooted or updated the s/w in your terms. The problem started all on its own while I was riding!
Thanks,
Rgds, Shesha

In continuation with the above, and the understanding thru the forum, did the following;
Installed the SP Flash Tool on to my Laptop.
Followed as per the below link
androidxda.com/flash-stock-rom-using-smart-phone-flash-tool
Reached and completed step 8, step 9 did as mentioned and there hasn't been any progress.
Had downloaded this file "MMX A110 Stock Rom V2 - 11th Dec + Flash Tools". This helped for both SP Flash Tool & ROM

Unable to resolve

[Q] How to hard reset Nexus S

hi all
i am trying to do a factory reset to my nexus S but i faced some problems, the phone cant be reset to factory settings. my phone is on 2.3.4 and is rooted
i had tried the following steps
1) going to Settings>Privacy>Reset phone
after i confirm to wipe everything, the phone rebooted and it will stuck at the "Google" logo (in words) with the fastboot unlock logo at the bottom. i took off the battery to shutdown the phone (anything i press at this moment does not get any response from the phone) and start it up again. once it is started (it get pass the google word logo if i do it this way) all my application and even my themes are still there
2) shutting down the phone. press volume up + power button. choose recovery
same thing happen as above. it cant get pass the google word logo and once i restart the phone by plugging out the batt, it went back to previous state without wiping anything
i search online guide and also youtube video and all of them shows that the recovery will bring you to a android with a exclamation mark (in the triangle) but i cant get to the screen. i had left my phone there for 30 minutes but it is still stuck at the google logo.

managed to flash it back to an older version and everything works now

Make sure to update it eventually because you could run into issues when flashing stuff if your recovery isn't up to date.
No problem!

The 3 button combination in order to start the phone in Recovery Mode (where wipe options are) should be volume UP + home + power.
Avoid the volume DOWN combination because that is for Download Mode.
Try start in Recovery Mode several times because sometimes the proper combination timing is not detected.
If really the phone can't start in Recovery Mode, you should flash the official firmware again via Odin, following the procedure with caution. An important, sometimes overrated action related to flashing via PC is that any antivirus (firewall mainly) must be turned off before the flashing procedure, in order to avoid (invisible) conflicts when transfering data through USB ports.

First of all the boot up loop is caused because you have not wiped the cache and dalvik cache (may be).
Since the recovery is not booting means, there is some error with flashing.
What you can do right now is to flash the Original Stock Rom using Odin, the original stock OS itself contains the recovery partition.

[Q] Samsung Note ST-N9006 Infinite Reboot Loop

Hi All,
I am new to write to this forum but I am using this forum for about an year to get many useful information. Thanks to everyone. I am having a very bad week. First I could not identify the Chinese replica of Note 3 and bought it at full price. It is on 4.4 After using this for one week. I try to boot this into download mode but no luck. Boot into recovery mode but shows only option shown bellow. With no option to select anything.
Code:
Select Boot Mode:
[VOLUME_UP to select. VOLUME_DOWN is OK.]
[Recovery Mode] <<===
[Fastboot Mode]
[Normal Mode]
I want to get CW recovery installed so got a recovery image and using Rom Manager application I flashed recovery image. It ask me to restart phone and since than it's in loop of rebooting. Now it start normally and when desktop loaded within few seconds it again rebooted. I have made a youtube video to show this but I am not allowed to post external links. I don't know how can I share it.
I tried to flash different rom using SP and MTK tools. None of these work. I think if I could manage to do a factory reset it may sort the problem but could not do it as I can't boot into recovery or download mode. Can anyone help me to get out of this situation I want this back to work please please someone help. I already tried with removing sim card adding extra memory card leave battery out of device for long etc.
Best regards,

I think you need to wipe data or factory reset for boot looping.. or you may use Odin for flash the stock ROM. The problem is you have missed some step when flashing..
Hi,
Thanks. I know I need to do but I can't get phone in download or recovery mode. Odin won't find it during above menu. I have Note 2 and flashed it many times with different roms and bricked and got back. With this one there is something special to put into download or recovery mode which I am not able to do.

I can run phone and see wallpaper but after this system shutdown. I can open "Factory mode" and "Select boot mode" but I dont know what else. In factory mode smartphone didn't restart!!! I think that's fault of android - not phone.

[Completed] [Q] LG G2 Sprint 32GB LS980ZV8 bricked Security Error

Hi for all and all G2 LS980 users
In my phone was installed rom CloudyG3. And I decided to install this rom (
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/lollipop-grola-rom-5-0-1-t3028569)
I started to install rom in my phone LS980, I made full wipe, then instal this V2 rom, after installation wrote that successfully finished, and I pressed the reboot button.
So, the phone has rebooted and now on my screen is write: [860] Fastboot mode started
I flashed the all partitions (with LS980ZVE partitions .img file) in fastboot, "but" wheen I did the fastboot reboot, the phone has rebooted and after few seconds, on the screen I got a LG (symbol) an the text: Security Error ...
Now the phone automatically restarts when it comes to that stage (Security Error) , I can not enter download mode, I can not enter download mode, the phone constantly restarts after a message on the screen: Security Error
Thus I decided to open my phone, and I saw one of microprocessadorees who has written other model: MN0112-B201 LG G2 ZV8_13
I think(understand) I did the flash but with the files that were to another device.
So, now when I press the "Volume down + Power" I have acces to the:
Android system recovery <3e>
KOT49I.LS980ZVE
Volume up/down to move highlight;
enter button to select.
reboot system now
apply uptdate from external sdcard
apply update from cache
apply update from ADB
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition )

TWRP not installing with Odin, entering recovery results in blue sys-update bootloop

I followed the steps on the following popular thread correctly;
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-galaxy-note5/general/how-to-root-device-versions-t3435149
However, for some reason TWRP isn't installing correctly, and trying to enter recovery (Home + VolUp + Power) results in a blue screen "installing system update" bootloop similar to the one described on this post;
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sp...bootloops-flash-twrp-3-0-2-0-teamwin-t3380080
I tried both the TWRP version from that post, as well as the one on the official TeamWin site, and tried setting Auto-Reboot on and off, but had no results. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Thanks

Shut the phone off held down home key, volume down, and power buttons altogether? Which puts u to download mode.
You opened Odin ver. 3.xx
Clicked on AP then browse for the rar file, which is the twrp ver.3 or 2.98, don't quote me on thise versions.
Unchecked partition & auto reboot.
