[Q] Display schould stay off during call - Micromax A110

Hi,
does anybody know an app or a tweak (build.prop or xposed framework) which doesn't wake up the display during a call? (mobile is rooted)
My mother in law has a Cynus T2.
Everytime she makes a call, she doesn't hold it properly and the display turns on, and with her ear and cheeks she triggers accidentely several buttons.
So sometimes bluetooh or wireless is on, or the call ends abruptly.
She holds the phone with her left hand and the proximity sensor is on the right, so there is enough space, it does not shade correctly and the proximity sensor turns the display on.
I searched for proximity sensor fixes, but they all do the opposite. They fix the proximity sensor to turn the display on for e.g. to open the phonebook or the dialer.
I would be very happy for every suggestion.

Turn screen on and off in a call with light sensor

Ok, so I've basically got the screen from turning off in a call with a tweak, but this removes the mute phone on turning it face down. I don't really mind about that since I've disabled that feature anyway.
What I'm wondering is, as the phone has a light sensor right next to the speaker, I wondered if theres anyway to turn the screen off when it's next to your head. Did the iPhone have an IR transmitter and reciever to accomplish this or just a bog standard light meter?
The only problem with this I can see would be in the dark, it would mean the screen stays off.

Proximity Sensor - Help?

I got a used S2 Skyrocket, all stock and factory reset. It has a slight crack on the outer glass and the crack seems to run over the proximity sensor.
With this option "Turn on proximity sensor" ENABLED:
- the screen switches off when I take the phone close to my ears. BUT it does not come back on at all when I move it away. I have to like pull the battery out and reboot.
With the option "Turn on proximity sensor" disabled: The screen won't automatically turn off. Is this my only FIX?
I did the self test of the Sensor using the menu I get by dialing *#0*#. When I move my finger over the sensor, the screen turns green and vibrates, but when I move off... there is no change.
So I assume the sensor or the cracked glass is causing this? Question: Can the senor be cleaned by dis-assembling the back side?
I have used my SR's sensor a lot more as part of a Power Button fix. The Smart Screen ON app helps interact with and configure the sensor's screen response, so you might get a clearer view of the malfunction from it.
Nope that app didn't help. I might have to open and clean the sensor...

Proximity sensor being useless on phone calls

My proximity sensor is not turning off the screen when I'm in calls. I think it may (not sure) have something to do with DT2W, which should not be active when the screen is disabled during a call. Anyone else?
Edit: after spending a while on a call tonight playing with it, I think the proximity sensor is causing the problem, it turns off the screen when it's right up against my ear but move it slightly back to the edge of my ear where it's like a half an inch to my head from the proximity sensor, the screen turns back on. It should be sensing objects a few inches away, 2 at a minimum, not a half an inch.
My proximity sensor only activates on androsensor when my finger is about an eighth of an inch from my phone, a tiny, tiny gap. Can anyone on 5.1.6 or higher confirm whether the proximity sensor activates at an inappropriate distance or not? Like I said androsensor was the app I used if you need one
Very generally said, I am having the same problem! During calls my display always turns on randomly and I accidently press buttons involuntarily during calls. Is there any solution or fix for it?

Always On Display ignores proximity sensor

Hi all,
I just got a 2018 Galaxy A7 this week.
I can't get the Always On Screen to function correctly.
When the proximity sensor at the top of the screen is covered, the screen will fade all the way down, but not shut off completely.
If I leave the phone face down on a table, I can see the screen dimly reflected off the surface if I turn the lights off.
From the manual: "If the sensor at the top of the device is covered for a certain period, the Always On Display will turn off". So it should turn off if face down, in a pocket, etc?
I tried setting "Block Accidental Touches" but this makes no difference. Same for a factory reset in case something I installed was holding the screen on.
Am I missing a required setting?
With thanks
Also: I checked with the built-in tests (dial *#0*#). The proximity and light sensors seem to work ok, so this appears to be a software or setting issue? Or a mistake in the manual?
I confirm that the aod will automatically turn off if I put my phone into my pocket. But I afraid of the burn out of my display. The aod seem to stay the same position in a very long period and there is no option to set up the period for the movement of the aod. Maybe I will turn this funtion off.
Thanks for checking. I'll contact Samsung about this.
I don't know if you need to worry about burn in, the clock and other information seems to move around often enough. Even the home button moves slightly to avoid issues. They've used these screens with these anti-burn in measures for a while and there hasn't been a large number of complaints.
Yeah, A7 has this function and I worry about the burn in of its screen but it do not have LED notification and because of that I must use aod. But the A6, my wife's phone, do not have aod and LED notification. Why Samsung did not support LED indicator for A series? It so annoying.
