Hello XDA,
2 days ago I installed CyanogenMod via their new installer everything went great. After a 2 days of testing I decided that the Nexus 5 is a great phone and doesn't need any custom rom (atleast not for me). So I followed this guide to unrooting the device and setting it back to the stock rom.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2513701
I selected recovery and after that I'm supposed to see a dead android. But I'm not seeing anything my screen is black. I can some light so it is still turned on.
I'm kinda freaking out over here so I really could use some help on restoring this ( if its possible ).
Greetings,
Liquidfood.
I'm dutch so my English might not be perfect.
Can you get into the bootloader? Our is your screen black too? I would try to flash the factory image again

That's not a good sign. Look for the LG flash tool, I believe it's in the general forum and try that. I think it's your only hope at this point.

How you should I go about this. I still have warranty in the store that I bought it form ( probably not because bootloader is unlocked. ). But I wanna try it anyways should I tell them the truth or not? And can I send it directly to google/lg?
Ok so a miracle happend. I got it to work again, I let the battery drain and hooked it up to my computer and got in the bootloader. So I flashed the rom again and now it worked!

Use fastboot from your PC. Everything is controlled from CMD Prompt. Look at Pete's tutorial. Just need to setup the drivers. Check the stickies.

Just have it fixed through best buy it takes 3 business days I sent mine in on Thursday and got it Monday since obviously weekends don't count. My power button wasn't working either and I was rooted and unlocked bootloader..just save all your data since they might just give you a new nexus like me

doesnt black tie give you a new phone right there?
also try, inserting the battery in while its plugged in. It may turn on automatically.

If ur bootloader is unlocked, switch off the fon, connect the phone to computer by pressing both volume keys and connect the using data cable. Ur fon wil enter into download mode. So u can flash rom and all with odin.

can't find anything that helps on the internet :/
All my searching (xda, google, phandroid) attempts only came up with people having problems flashing roms. THIS IS NOT THAT.
I have a Nexus S 4G (d720) running stock 4.0.4 (never rooted or flashed a rom on this phone). As of about 3 hours ago, my phone has reset itself four times. 3/4 rebooting to android robot with red triangle. The last one reboot to the google logo and then was stuck for 10 minutes. Any thoughts on what could be causing this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Without fail, it's done it every night for four nights. Can anyone help?

I'll take it in tomorrow, if they can't help...would it change anything to root and flash a rom? or could it be something hardware related?
Found a post with a similar problem here. It looks like going to the sprint store won't help much...
Take it in first. If not I say root and see if that solves it.

I took it in, they did a "Factory Factory Reset" where they have to input a "special code" and it spazzed out within 5 minutes of me turning it on. So completely stock, no apps, no nothing. fresh out of the box and synced to my gmail, it did the same thing. The only new thing I've put on my phone in the last month has been a Zagg screen protector...and I'm fairly certain that has nothing to do with it. So they ordered me a new one, hopefully it lasts longer than this one. Thanks for your help.
Glad it worked out.

@Neurotica i got it from one of the wireless stores around my area he was selling them for cheap so i took a bite on it but any methods of trying to root it or getting my pc to read it is not working any suggestions?
@MakoVince is there somthing i could do with it as far as rooting it and changing the ROM? im new to Android devices so im not sure what to do with this phone
I'd suggest that you try to update your device while it is still stock. Sideload the updates until you read KitKat.

0. Unlock the bootloader
1. Install CWM or TWRP via fastboot
2. Back up the pre-release software and save it on your computer
3. Install 4.4.2 factory image via fastboot to 'fix' your device
4. Share the backup you made, because it's interesting

So today while I was in the car my phone restarted and came back on. When I unlocked it it kept giving me the message "Unfortunately Android System has Stopped" I did a factory restore and when phone booted up all was back to normal. Then I rooted again installed super su and it did the same thing, Went through and factory restored but now I'm not sure what to do. I could still take it back to store and get them to replace because I'm within 14 days. But that would be last resort.

Yeah. I use towel root to get root. Then install SuperSU app. It updates binaries and prompts a reboot to finish and upon reboot I get that message again.

I mean I didn't do anything that could've caused the issue. I was typing a text when the phone restarted on me. Now I'm stuck stock no root or anything. Can't even use the LG backup tool to restore my stuff that I had before ever rooting. It causes same message to happen. Hell I'm afraid to reboot my phone or even let it run dead because it might give me the same message.

I'm not sure. How would I flash stock software? I know I need the LG flash tool. Which I've been on Google for the past 45 minutes searching for because there isn't any clear indication of what the right tool is. And then how would I get the software after I'm able to find the tool?

Thanks again to both of you for all the help. Wouldn't have figured it out otherwise.
Same thing happened to me after I did a factory reset of the att g3 rooted. I didn't unroot first. After another factory reset, it booted without the fc. When I removed the SIM and booted again, I got the fc. Even after it goes away, it seems that rebooting makes it come back. This happened randomly and I tried for days to figure it out. I eventually just returned the device and got the TMO g3.

After a little bit it was boring to have everything owned and i resetted my phone to factory settings but still everything was there. No back ups, new acc made to sign in, wiped cache, dalvik cache and format. Nothing worked. How can i delete EVERYTHING in my phone? I want it to be like a new one. Any suggestions? Even when it says welcome and select language the language is in Greek (my region). Its driving me crazy.
EDIT :Also Flashed stock rom but with no success
