:crying: Dear sir/s,
I own samsung galaxy ace duos GT s6802 (Android 2.3.6 running Gingerbread) . It's been rooted and now cause of an app "system tuner" with which I overclocked it,the device got into boot loop. I searched the forum thoroughly and tried many key combinations to boot into safe mode but no success.
I'm able to reach into recovery mode but factory reset/wipe data didn't helped.
So I request you people if any one owning the same device knows the trick to get into safe mode, please let me know.
Any easy or alternate method to overcome boot loop is also welcome.
Thanks for sincere help.
Note:The trick to get into safe mode varies from one device to other so please be specific with my device...

I guess the user also needs to format data, cache and system under "mounts and storage" menu before installing the firmware
How????

Since you can boot into recovery you can download the stock rom and flash it from the recovery mode.
Are you able to use Odin for your device to flash a stock ROM+kernel ?
Download Odin and AriesVEops, flash your stock rom (download it via sammobile.com)
Stuck with the samsung logo, needs stock ROM
Hello, I'm new here and in dire need of anybody's help. I own a GT-S6802 and I'm stuck with the samsung logo on start-up. How do I get it working again? Anybody, help PLEASE! If you could provide me with a file of the stock ROM and a step by step instruction on how to install it back, it would really be appreciated. Here are the things I already did:
-rooted the phone - successful.
-tried to unlink files from the rom using titanium back-up, the phone rebooted but stuck with the samsung logo.
-tried to wipe the data, still the same.
-tried to intall firmware update using odin-nothing happens.
The phones is still under warranty but I believe I've already voided it. :crying:

basically i try to flash every roms to see if any rom work to solve the prolem. when i ry to mount efs it said error. and after i use odin to flash back to stock. i saw current binary-Samsung but the system status still stuck at custom. any idea?
You should boot to the bootloader (Volume down and power button) and do a factory reset. This'll wipe all your data and - very likely - your Note 10.1 will boot again!
I had the same problem a while ago, and this worked for me.
edit:
Oops, I didn't saw that you tried this already...

haven't seen anyone truly remedy this situation, and I wouldn't risk sharing efs files

Hey guys my device is Samsung Core GT-i8262. I recently rooted my phone and installed CWM v6.0.3.6 via Odin. After that i backed up my stock rom using cwm to both internal and external sd. After finishing backup i rebooted the device and it booted directly into cwm! No matter what i did it refused to load the os. It booted into cwm every single time! I tried to fix it by doing factory reset, wiping cache, and dalvik cache. I also tried exitrecovery.zip, but it didnt work. Then i installed cutom kitcat rom (build 4) but the problem persists. Someone please help me!

I tried with odin. But odin is not detecting my phone. I installed proper drivers and used factory supplied cable.
Problem fixed!
The problem with odin was fixed. i dont how exactly but i just connected my phone with the computer which i had used to flash the cwm! I think it was either, that the computer has already detected my device one before or simply the updated drivers were properly installed. Anyway it worked and now i am using TWRP and KitCat [build 5] rom by VaibhaV. Works like a charm. Thank you!
I am passing through the very same situation, and odin don't recognize my phone to install TWRP
Hi every1! I really want some help. I have Samsung Galaxy S6312 and installed CWM v6.0.3.2 one year ago but didn't flash any rom.
I did factory reset of my phone using recovery yesterday and all went well. But now the problem is it always boots into recovery mode on power up or system boot.
What should I do now ?
I am still able to make a complete backup of my phone and can restore it but again it always boots in to recovery mode.
PS: The first time I installed CWM, the same problem had occurred but I was able to system boot by clearing dalvik cache and wipe partition. But this time even it is not working.
Please help, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

[ProblemSolved]I think the problem was with the CWM that I had installed using terminal commands. So I again flashed the cwm but this time using Odin.
links that helped me:
flashing using odin:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51338466&postcount=9
how to use odin :
http://galaxyyoungs6312.blogspot.com/2014/01/flashing-stock-rom-to-samsung-galaxy.html
Above link shows the use of odin for flashing stock rom but the procedure is same for flashing cwm.
Thank you all.

Is the ROM you are flashing made for your specific model number? Are you using the newest version of TWRP that you can find? Are you factory resetting, wiping cache and dalvik when you flash? Have you tried doing an advanced wipe in TWRP to wipe system partition and data partition and then flashing your ROM then wiping cache and dalvik after you flash?

Lollipop, marshmallow and nougat van take up to 30 minutes to boot the first time, are you giving it time to load or are you just getting impatient?

To be thorough and make sure you miss nothing, I suggest these steps:
1)in TWRP, tap the Wipe button, then it should say at the top of the screen: "factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik". Swipe the slider to do the wipe.
2)after wiping, tap the home button in TWRP, on TWRP home screen, tap the Wipe button again, then tap the advanced wipe option, wipe system and data.
3)tap home button, on home screen, tap install then flash your ROM and Gapps.
4)after flashing ROM and Gapps, wipe cache and dalvik(do not factory reset).
5)reboot.
