Your internal is already available for storage. Look for sdcardi in your file explorer

This may seem like a ridiculously noobish question but I can't find the external SD partition in any file manager. I'm rooted and neither root explorer or astro shows any partition for the external card. I just placed a 32gb micro SD in there and the /SD folder refers to the internal 12 GB of storage. What am I missing here?

It would be under /sdcard/external_sd in root explorer.
/sdcard/external_sd
when using root explorer, sd card is being shown but when click on it seems to go to internal storage???
The internal storage is named "sd card"... external storage is named "external1".
Don't ask me why.

Thanks mate!!! That did the trick!
I have a rooted Xolo q700i phone. I've installed a external sdcard and which is shown as sdcard0 in /storage. In /storage there is also sdcard1 which is i think internal sdcard. I am not using this internal sdcard. Since my internal memory is full, I want to use this internal sdcard with link2sd.
Can someone please help me with this.
- How to create partition in internal sdcard?
- How to use internal sdcard with link2sd?
I don't want to use my external sdcard for this as that one is nearly full and I have to remove it sometimes.
Thanks
I'm having this problem for sometime now after setting external storage as default storage, there's only 1 thumbnail for external storage (dubbed as internal) and no way to acess internal storage via es Explorer.
I don't have this problem when setting internal storage as default.
Also I have checked storage directories but can't find it.

I'm having the same problem, happens when I set SD Card as default storage
just set internal as default storage
So, I have what is probably a really stupid question.
What is the path for the internal and external SD Card storage?
I'm using Root Explorer as a file browser.
/sdcard/ = internal
