Hi guys.
I'm stuck on a problem days ago.
After unlock my bootloader, I could not reconnect the phone in flash mode, and also entail to that for some reason change the baseband. For this reason my phone does not connect to the 3G network.
My question is the following:
It is possible to flash the baseband in fastboot mode?
I appreciate your help.

The problem is that before unlocking the bootloader, could seamlessly connect via flash on the same computer, but is now impossible. So I doubt that the problem lies in the version of windows I'm using.
The xperia miro of my mom if you connect via flash, so I know the problem is in my phone.

Only via flash mode
Connect to flashtool in flash-mode. Select a FTF file. Choose a generic world or one for your region.
Uncheck everything except baseband make make sure you've also unchecked cache & data. Now only the baseband.sin will get flashed.

Need to Flash but USB not working
Hi all,
I want to flash the factory ROM without usb cable. Is there any tool available to flash without data cable?
There is some issue with motherboard where I can only charge it by turning mobile off. So I cant detect or charge it when mobile is ON. Is anyone faced same issue?
I tried converting .ftf file to zip so that i can flash it using CWM. But got stuck in the middle.
Please share stock ROM in zip format if anyone has.
Thanks,
Karthik

Having trouble with my Xperia J after I rooted and installed CWM. Since then the device doesn't boot. After pressing power button it shows a 'yellow' light and then nothing happens. I then flashed it using flashtool with twrp2.4.3-jlo's boot.img and used custom ROM 'MOD_For_Z-Fusion_For_CM10'. It installs fine but SIM card is not recognized. I read somewhere about this problem and the resolution was to install a correct firmware. How can I get my SIM card read? Do I need to flash the device with another firmware?
The bootloader is unlocked and if I ever install boot.img apart from twrp2.4.3-jlo's one then the installed CWM doesn't works. Only twrp2.4.3-jlo's own recovery mode works fine.
Another major problem is that if I press volume down button and connect with the USB cable then only the BLUE color appears and FLASHTOOL reads it in fast boot. So, I am never able to set it in flash boot.
Please help me in getting my device up and running. Let me know if there are some firmware or custom rom which I can Install and get my device running.
Thanks in advance

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. As i mentioned, once I flash any boot.img then the CWM under recovery mode doesn't work. So, how should I fix the permission for CWM? Would it help in resolving the SIM issue too?
Thanks in advance.

Oh, did you try pressing volume down button when your LED turns yellow? And yes fixing permissions should solve SIM issue.

I was able to fix the permissions in CWM but the SIM card still didn't get detect. I have installed CM10 (FXP213) using fastboot. As per the another thread '[Q] Xperia J CM10 FXP213 - no SIM card problem by darkdonald' in XDA it looks that I need to flash back to ICS first and then proceed with FXP213 but the major problem I am facing is that my mobile device 'xperia J' isn't getting connected in flashmode. I press volume-up or volume-down the device is always detected in fastboot and in both the cases the light turn to Blue.

If you have CM 10, only flash Baseband from ICS stock ftf (check everything except Baseband, leave wipes unchecked) that worked for me.
Good Luck.

Thanks a lot. Yes, the baseband is showing unknown and I should fix this to get the SIM working but a major problem I am facing is that the device is never going to flash mode (so I can't use FlashTool to flash tft's). I will try to change tft firmware file to flash-able zip or search for a baseband flash-able zip file.

Try with different cable, and connect it to the back of pc. I had problems with original cable that comes with phone and I'm using short 10cm cable from a Nokia that i had. It's working perfectly now. About Baseband, i think it will still be unknown after flashing, but you'll have Net.
Good Luck

Before I start to offer ideas on the issue do you have any idea what caused this to start?
Did you flash a custom ROM/Recovery/Firmware to the phone or did it just stop working ?

Then the best option is to download the flashing tool for your device and flash the stock firmware to it using fastboot. That should get it into a working state which you can then work from to install a custom recovery.

Before booting/after flashing the firmware make sure you reset the device in recovery so it has a "clean slate" to boot to as this should remove any old apps/settings from the previous firmware/ROM that could cause it to bootloop

Hi there,
My device doesn't start anymore, I tried to flash it with the latest rom 42.2.A.10.107, same, it doesn't work
My bootloader is unlocked, and device rooted, so I can't fix it with xperia campanion, also with emma, I can't do it because they ask for a user and password.
Luckily ! I was able to recover my data using twrp recovery.
Anyone have an idea please? thanks in advance.
did you try newflasher?
flashtool?
search web for Emma, password. There's a way to install it so it never asks for it.
