Yes I do. I used greenify but my moto g still drain fast. From 100 % to 20 % just 10 hours.
I used Nova Launcher Prime, BBM, Line and WA.

Disable Location service / GPS , also when you had weak signal from your Provider, it will reduce the battrey alot., you might want to set to 2G only, or better yet, use Wifi instate

I must be the only one that gets no benefits from greenify.

I will recommend Apex launcher, it is ligh and memory+battery friendly.
Use Greenify (If possible donation version) it can hibernate system apps like hangouts, google+ etc when not in use.

You can also try the Hibernate app (not Greenify) you can find it in the Store.
For the others,
There are a lot of custom kernels that improve battery. Find one that suits you.

Different launchers & battery life ?

Hello,
I'd like to know if having installed various launchers makes the phone lag or drain battery life ? I don't know which one to choose yet, so when I hit the Home button of my Nexus S, I get the choice of using all launchers that I've installed.
Would it be recommended to uninstall useless launchers ?
Also, let's say I want to use a 'light' launcher when I'm running out of battery, does running one launcher turn off widgets from my default launcher ?
Thanks for the help !

If you're not constantly switching between them, then the unused ones should be killed off and removed from memory. You should be able to select a default Launcher with a check box on that menu.

Go for it if you're running out of storage space.

The only running widgets would be from the currently running Launcher. Try Zeam Launcher for one that's simple and light weight.
If you're looking for a lightweight alternative launcher that still gets the job done without all the bells and whistles nothing more better than Zeam Launcher
I personally don't think that you will improve battery life using a lightweight launcher. Maybe it does but the difference might not be something you would notice.
What I would advice is disable widgets constantly polling for data e.g YouTube, Facebook, genie Widgets ...

Thank you all for your answers.
I enjoy having multiple widgets running even though it drains battery. But as I said, I'd like to turn them off when I'm on my way back home but unsure that my battery will last. By switching to another light launcher, according to what droptothetop said, I can make sure none of them are running.

Better Battery Life for Core(Rooted)

Here are some tips to increase the battery life of our galaxy core
Requirements-
1.Rooted galaxy core
2.Link2SD(download from google play)
Steps-
1.I noticed that the display used the most % of battery. Then I found out it was because of Touchwiz launcher.
so first thing you should is use a different launcher, eg. HOLO, Nova, Apex
After installing the launcher open link2sd and freeze TouchWiz Home(optional)
2.there are some apps which we don't use and which consume a lot of juice, so use link2sd n freeze them
here's the list of apps-
1.Clock(digital)
2.Clock(funky)
3.Clock(modern)
4.Dual clock(analogue)
5.Dual clock(digital)
6.Favourite Apps
7.Game Hub
8.Music Player(optional)(the default music player uses a lot of battery, if you use other music players the freeze this, otherwise leave it)
9.PageBuddyNotiSvc
10.Samsung Apps
11.Simple Alarm Clock
12.Yahoo! Finance
13.Yahoo! News
Do all these n see if you notice the difference..

Well It does... The apps I listed use 2-3mb ram each, so if you freeze them more ram will be available which will make your phone faster.
if you want performance over style then install SickSky launcher(free on play store).

yeah i used it and if i use super task killer it will give 400-450 instead of 300-340 ;o HUGE differents!
I now use apex launcher with a galaxy s4 theme looks almost 100% like Real touchwiz. but the one thing that bothers me is that is no labels under the dock icons can i add labels to dock icons on apex ?
GOOD GUIDE BTW!!!
To freeze system apps you neither need root nor any app like Link2sd.All non essential apps can be disabled from application manager itself.Just go to settings/application manager/all and click the app you want to disable and then simply click on disable. To enable just click on enable to enable it again.
wow it's really works, now i have 500mb ram free space . thanks a lot:laugh::good:
im get a better battery life more, thanks for this thread
or just uninstall those bloatwares if your phone's rooted.
Hey thanks, i want to reshare with all my friend
#just_a_note
please don't remove any system app .. this might cause system instability ..just greenify apps that are not in use .. use 2 background processes as maximum thanks
there are many sys apps which are BLOATWARES , you can safely remove them(only non important ones)

Which Apps to disable to get better battery life

hi there so i am using package disabler pro and loving it but just curious which apps do i disable to safe more battery life cause i have s samsung s6 edge and battery life is not all that good
to get good battery life just disable google apps which you dont use.
plus you can also disable samaung app which are a waste accorsing to you.
to save the battery my suggestion and recommendation is to install nova launcher and disable the stock touch wiz launcher.
touch wiz is a battery sucker.
and disable google services if you dont need to dowbload alot from playstore or play a lot of games.
disable background data of google services and google apps you dont want to sync in background.
hit thanks if helped

What themes, apps, launchers and other things could be installed on Le Max 2?

Hi. I want to buy a Le Max 2, and I wonder what it could be installed on this phone? Now I have one Galaxy Note 4, and i have a plenty of apps installed (ex. Nova Launcher, AppLock, Bluetalk, Xposed, Repeating Notification, Battery Doctor, Profile Scheduler, Advanced Task Killer, Lock Screen, Android Assistant, Hibernation Manager, Greenefy, Flat Style Bar Indicators, Aqua Mail). Some on this apps is almost a "must have" for me, perhaps others will be not so important on the Max 2. What apps do you have?
Since there is a working root method,i don't see why you will have any problem installing any of these apps.

Jeah... All of those nonroot apps should work normally. With xposed I would wait a little. It seems to Work, But not that stable.

I run a ported HTC Sense Launcher on mine... works great!!! Definitely has root method, so at some point, almost everything will work. I tend to stay stock as I get rid of phones quickly and just install what works on non-rooted. To note, I have Google Play Store and all google apps installed, received OTA and still works 100%... don't know how as other have their Play Store break after update.... I guess I'm just lucky :fingers-crossed:
where do you have the HTC Sense Launcher?
Nova Launcher working great on mine !!!
Nova Launcher along with Zooper widgets works great on the device!
Xposed works flawlessly on moKee 6.0.1 V1! Infinite amount of tweaks and possibilities

I use apex too, it's light and fast. No updates? May it's a "running system, nothing to be changed"?
