Hi, when I connect my HTC one e8 to my pc folders like music and videos doesn't display, and when I add a new folder the new folder naming it as "videos or music" it doesn't named but it automatically named as new folder so I am forced to write my music to other folder? What should I do?

When windows phone installs and uninstalls an app, is there a file that writes the app info into? My HTC HD7 in unlocked, and I can copy my app directories to my pc, but when I copy them back to my htc hd7 it doesnt recongnize them. or is there a way I can rexap the apps on my pc and redeploy them onto my phone? Try entering a zip file the files included in the application folder (not the folder directly but only its contents. The folder is the one with the ID of the program) and rename this zip file in xap. Then try installing the xap.
P. S. Unfortunately I have my WP in my hands because it is being repaired and can not remember the name of the three folders in the folder "\ applications".
To be more precise, could you, please, remember the name of the three folders in the folder "\ applications"?

applications\data\isolated storage is the one your looking for
applications\install has the actual program, some times you need to poke about in there rather than data, but most of the time, if its user data related it is under data.
I was looking for this path "applications \ install".
I think it should be enough to create one xap with the files in the folder "applications \ install \ <app ID>".
I repeat that to create the xap, just put the files in that path into a xap file to then be able to reinstall it.
Obviously if you want to make a backup of saves and settings, you can see the folders dell'isolated storage.
Recently bought one plus one in India , was trying to customize the ringtone by using mp3 songs. But read in one of the forum that need to copy mp3 file in Ringtone folder and you will be able to see it in system ringtone's list.
But in my case the ringtones folder is in
/system/media/audio/ringtones
which is not allowing me to add any files , since do not have permission to write on this folder.
Please advice..
Is this the right folder to copy the desired mp3 file or have to copy somewhere else.?
If this is the right folder, how to set the permission to copy any files.

I use a one plus one. I recently updated my cell phone to Cyanogen mod version 12.0-YNG1TAS2I3.
Now I transferred some files into the secure folder of the stock file manager present in the phone from another folder in the phone only. I actually transferred two folders. Now I open the secure storage with a password to see that the folder is not showing. A folder was previously present in it that still shows but the one I moved 12 hours ago is no where to be found. Please I need help with this as it had really important files. Anyone with a good solution is always welcome, thank you.

I'm trying to copy my old folder of wa from the old phone to the mi 10 note (local backup), but I don't know where the folder is. I tried to use the option of "unhide" files and folder, but cant's see the folder!
And not only whatsapp but also the other apps.

As the title of this post says, I am having trouble unlocking some videos I put in the private folder in MXplayer. Each time I select a video and click in the option "unlock", the program tells me that the video will be moved to Public, and when I click "Move", the program do nothing. I want to free some space in my device without loosing access to my files. What can I do?
That happened to me recently. I will tell u what I did .Install Es file explorer then select to show hidden files & folders. In internal directory u see there is a mx player folder open it. There is . private named folder present open it. U can see there is some file present with extension .private now change them to mp4 & move them to desired location. Hope this helps.
