This is a great game.. I love it.. But does anyone else have a connection issue..? It' s hard to join a game, can't host a game, always connection lost to host server, and even crashing sometimes.. There's nothing wrong with my network because i can play order and chaos smoothly.. Anyone have a solution to this problem..?
It could be down to whatever us running on your phone or dung def's server I've had issues with this in the past also try clearing the data and re-download if you are still having this issue.

I need help I have the game but it won't let.me type my user name or password to play online
I cant even get Dungeon Defenders to work. After I select my player and it starts to load the phone reboots every single time. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, redownloaded the game data and every time,...... reboot. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

After I updated apps from the play store, I tried to download another app. But mysteriously, an error occured. It says: ***(app name) could not be downloaded due to an error; error retrieving information from server [RPC:AEC:0]. Then I tried several other apps, and this error occured every time.
Has anyone gotten this before? Need a solution here. Many thanks!
Did everything work before? Were u stock? If u were on different ROM, which one?
What ROM is happening on? Maybe put this question in that ROMs thread since it could be something to do with DPI of that ROM.
But b4 that u should at the minimum reflash gapps.
I would start over... clean wipe and reflash.... but that's just me. It normally fixes errors that are hard to fix.

the same thing happened to me and what i did to solve the problem was replace the play store
Problem solved! I first cleaned up the cache of the play app, didn't work. Then I uninstalled the update, did work either. However after I deleted my google account and re-logged in, it worked perfectly. Anyway, thanks for the advices.

Removing Google Account and putting it back in solved the problem. As well as clearing our the data in the Play Store app.

I have the same problem. Ive tried to reboot, remove cache and data, uninstall the latest version of play store, logged in with another google account in play store and then with my regular account again and nothing works. really annoying to not be able to update or install apps... someone said "delete your google acc", but idk how to with JB. Im on a rooted nexus s I9023 with stock 4.1.1 and kernel. sorry for beeing a noob and i really hope someone can help me. thanks in advance

How do you "delete your google account"? Im sitting here in settings and just punching myself in the face because I know it's obvious, but I cannot for the LIFE of me find it! Sorry guys...

In settings, Google, click your account, then in the drop down menu in the top right corner remove account. That is how I did it anyway.

lol, that is like putting tape over the "Check Engine" light on a car, because you don't want to fix it.
It's no solution at all.
Anyway, @OP, thanks, I had this problem too and I removed my google account and re-added, and Play Store works fine now.

I was running around in circles and getting nowhere...until I did this (you must complete the full list)
Go to settings
Tap “Apps” (in left menu)
Tap “All” (last tab on top right hand side)
Scroll until you find “Google Play Store”. Tap it.
Tap “Force Stop”, tap “OK”, tap “Clear data” and if possible (but it might be disabled) tap “Clear cache”.
Tap the back button to get the list of apps again.
Scroll until you find “Google Service Framework”. Tap it.
Tap “Force Stop”, tap “OK”, tap “Clear data” and if possible (but it might be disabled) tap “Clear cache”.
Now reboot your device.

just a FYI, when you "Clear data," it also clears the cache. I am 99% positive of that.
At least on ICS/JB, maybe on GB it's different.. not positive about GB.
All fine now but I have to erase all the PS data, erase phone account, clear all data a FS all Google appps and then start all over. With that, all is working for me perfectly.

Just loaded Jelly Bean Factory's CM10 ROM on my Inspire 4G. Had the same issue. Deleting account and then signing in again worked for me also. Be aware though, some of you may not have the drop-down menu mentioned. Go to Settings, Google, your account, then whatever menu key your device has. Mine says "Remove Account", yours should say something similar.

I found that Google play simply hadn't updated, I found the latest Apk and installed that. None of your suggestions worked on my nook.
i have problem with asphalt 8 i must turn off wifi or packed data if i didn't the game i get this message : HAVING FUN TEARING UP THE ROAD ?
Motor Over Google Play and let us know if i pressed yes the game crashes and go to Google play then when i try to open game again same problem happens if i pressed not now the game crashes !!! and if i pressed back also crashes !! what should i do i need to play multiplier :crying:

I have a couple of games that once they start crashing they crash until I go into system->apps and clear the cache for that app. I have one game that once it starts crashing I have to go into recovery and wipe both the cache and the dalvik cache.

i have tried clearing the cache of the game but didn't work also i have tryed wiping cache and wiping dalvik still doesn't work what should i do ?

uhm...check the folder root/data/app-lib/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA8HM-1 if it's -2 rename it to 1

then put the phone in airplane mode
and then play it will not crash

Don't be offended... but did you mail the developer of the game? For me it's just a game's bug at all.
I guess you didn't buy the game...uninstall now clear cache and redownload it's FREEEEEE

I didn't buy it but alot of people trying same my files and same apk and doesn't face my problem its so big to download it again my internet speed is 512 kbps so ! Its 1.55 GB btw using I9100G
problem fixed the solution is update the game get the v1.1 version and its will work well

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. You're device is trying to tell you that you shouldn't be playing games but should be studying. But go into settings, apps and clear the cache in Google play services. See if that helps.
Haha I am doing both..... already tried no luck. It keeps connecting to the play games but doesn't do the trick

Hello All, I was able to install the Google Play App following the Tut's in the forum. All is well and My 5 year old now has Youtube Kids. Yay! Unfortunately, she is happy but daddy has a frown.
Ever since the install, I cannot read any books without the Kindle Reader Closing on me. I restart the Tablet and delete and reacquire the Book but I still keep getting the FC.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Uninstall any update to the Kindle app in Google Play Store. Then uncheck the box that allows automatic updating of the kindle app.

I followed your instructions and now the Book opens, shows me the cover page and then Force Closes. That's progress I think, but I still cannot read any books. Would you have any other options I may try?

Maybe a clear data/clear cache in app settings? I experienced your issue and my previous comment fixed it for me. Good luck, I hope you get it figured out.

Pardon my ignorance, how do you uninstall an update of a given app?
I faced the same problem as the OP and fixed it by stopping the BOOKS process, however, I would like to know how to uninstall updates.

In the Apps section of Settings for your device.
I know that this is an old topic, but does anyone have any resolve for this? I have a 2017 HD10 that I just setup, rooted, installed playstore, and now the Amazon Kindle App force closes all of the time. The uninstall updates button is greyed out, so I cannot do that. I've cleared data and cache, and that doesn't help.
Update: I ended up applying an update via ADB, and setting up the tablet like new. This solved my problem. Since this tablet is for my wife, I decided not to root it this time.
