ok not sure if you guys know abou this game application yet its very popular here in japan and ive been playing it on my android S3 running Android 4.3. I have another phone an american one Galaxy S4. I sent myself a friend invite from my japanese one to my american one via email. I followed the steps for friend invitation I dont get the reward for inviteing myself everytime i have tried. I have tried uninstalling it reinstalling it clearing data. I run the phone through wifi from my computer and my laptop. I get the same result everytime. I then started to try to run it through different emulators rooting the emulators trying different tactics which include but not limited to:
Market helper v2.2
Market Unlocker v3.5.1
changing build.prop file settings to tell the emulator that it is an SC-03D,E, or F (Japanese Samsung galaxy S3,4,5 from docomo)
Ran it on different emulation types as follows:
Nexus 5
Galaxy S3
Galaxy S5
Galaxy S4
Galaxy Note 2
Galaxy Note 3
Xeperia Tablet
Emulators ive tried:
Genymotion(Best ive found so far)
Andy Android
Android ADK
VirtualBox
Eclipse
If anyone knows what may be wrong please let me know or more things i can try. I most interested in getting it to work properly on my computer because with genymotion i found i can place myself anywhere in japan with the GPS feature from it. So i can get in ideal locations such as akihabara instead of having to drive out that far to play with really good players. Thanks in advance if i get any replys.
sorry to bump this but i was really hoping i could get a reply on it.

Rosetta stone just released their TOTALE Companion app for Android:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rosettastone.mcp&rdid=com.rosettastone.mcp&rdot=1
However, for some reason my rooted G2x running a version of Cyanogen is listed as not compatible. Can anyone PM me the APK or post it in this thread? I have TOTALE and I want to be able to use this app!!!
I manage on of their kiosk's and the only devices they currently support are...
1. Galaxy S II by Samsung
2. Incredible II by HTC
3. Droid Bionic by Motorola
4. Droid II by Motorola
5. Droid 3 by Motorola
6. Galaxy Tab 7 by Samsung
For the life of my I cannot figure out why they only allowed these particular devices... Maybe later on they will open it up for more but who can say. It really irks me too since I have the Dx one of the most popular android phones and it got no love from them.
My wife has a DIIg and I was planning on using hers to nab the .apk file later tonight. If the global cant d/l it then someone with one of the listed devices above will have to get it and post it up.

OK interesting. I will wait patiently. Thanks for letting everyone know.
Here you go.
It is in two formats the APK and Titanium Pro's backup files that can be placed in your designated folder and restored.
I messed with it on my DX for about 30 min playing around with several languages and guess what it workes perfectly... So locking it down to just those 6 devices is kinda jacked. Im guessing that's all the devs had to play with when they put it together for android.

1.0.8 APK
The APK link here is for version 1.0.1, any chance someone could post the new 1.0.8 version? I am hoping that they added hiragana/katakana and romaji for Japanese. Also speech recognition for Japanese was broken in the old version.
Brand new Galaxy Nexus, and within two weeks of launch, Hulu decides to drop support for my device. Then I decide to start using Rosetta Stone again, and that too has lost support for my device. This is becoming a huge problem for me, I feel like I did when I had my Evo, and was installing modded Flash APKs just to run Hulu in a browser over wifi.
Anyways

There is the link for the Totale Companion 1.0.8.
For future reference, there is an app in the market called Device Spoofer, that simply changes your build.prop that the market uses to determine your device, and filter its listings. You can either modify this file yourself, or use the app I mentioned to do it for you.
This gets you Rosetta Stone, but unfortunately doesn't make Hulu work on my Nexus.
On another side note, I too am using Rosetta Stone for Japanese, and unfortunately, Japanese isn't even supported in version 1.0.8.
This mess just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Hopefully there is an update soon, that will take care of this.
Totale on Droid X
Thanks for posting the Totale Companion 1.0.8
I was able to install it and run on a rooted Droid X running Android 2.3.3. Voice recognition and everything works so far. I had to manually activate voice recognition because it disabled on an error on the first attempt. So far it works great on the latin american spanish module.
Please continue to post any apk version updates
Anyone able to post the latest version? Thanks in advance
Where do I acquire an email and password?
No one has the latest version?
They want to pay 500 € for this program? They are crazy!

Hi I did every thing you say but I have no email address and password.
What I have to do?
Hey guys,
I've been trying to get GTA3 to run on the Tab since launch and it seems I finally found out how!
Here is what you need:
1. You need to find a way to purchase GTA3 from the market! I did this by purchasing it for my SGS2.
2. Make sure to install version 1.1 as version 1.0 crashes and causes a device reset!
3. There is no need for Chainfire3D options to be activated.
Cheers,
C.
Work ON ICS
I have test version 1.1 on My tab running ICS Alpha 3..and its work...^_^
Here the screenshot :
Bump!
I reached Staunton Island and it works just fine.
Missions are harder to complete without a mouse, but the retry system works great and it's really fun!

Working on Stock Firmware provided by Overcome
Installed GTA 3 V 1.1 this night and it worked! Though i seems it's a bit laggy but who gives a **** it works!
Im using the stock firmware provided by overcome, with root priviliges and the overcome kernel and recovery.
Hi, today I downloaded from the market the Grand Theft Auto III and downloaded the files to be able to play the game and I made it with Android 2.3.6 Stock P1000XWJQ8_P1000PHNJQ1_P1000XXJPZ with root and with stock kernel.
Note: Just install the latest GTA III app and you will be able to play the game
i'm running gta 3 on my galaxy tab (with overcome kratos rom) and its laggy as hell. even after a reboot and closing all kind of open applications/tasks it gets nearly unplayable when i enter a vehicle... too bad
a cracked one?
do you guys download crack games?? if so, can anyone give me a link for this game?a cracked one? I'm sorry if i want a crack.. I can't just afford it

Are you kidding me?
IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT, TOUGH! DO NOT ASK FOR WAREZ ON XDA
Version 1.2 works great, and with the full effect turned on
( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399258 )
I'm in love again!
I use the sgsll full effects file on either Boca rc1 or icedboca
Lagfree governor, vr scheduler at 1.2 ghz
Unplayable on overcome. Hangs every few seconds and doesnt go far beyond 10fps.
I went into options and put sfx and music to 0. Now the game is playable but still not 100% smooth. Sadly not much else I can do as there's no overclocked kernel for P1010 official gingerbread rom.

Original Samsung Galaxy Tab with Stock Rom 2.3.3 Does play it well
I have Samsung Galaxy Tab with 2.3.3 ( Stock Rom ) DDJPA version recently updated from Froyo. I tried the steps, but game hangs in between. While I have all the HD gameloft games like 9mm, Nova2, MC2, MC3, Asphalt 6 Adrenaline ( all HD versions) , and all of them works flawlessly. Also I have almost 6 GB of free space on Internal Storage while my SD card also has 4 GB free.
Did anyone faced the similar problems on Stock Rom from India -DDJPA versions of Gingerbread. Please help

I contacted rockstar because of my galaxy s2 and they gave me the usual list of things to do...
First, check to verify that your device is listed as a supported device:
http://support.rockstargames.com/en...anniversary-edition-list-of-supported-devices
Unsupported devices may display poor performance or crashing. We are always working to support as many hardware types as possible, and we recommend subscribing to that article for the latest additions to supported devices. Note that Rockstar Games has not tested on jailbroken phones or custom ROMs, and we are unable to guarantee functionality on modified devices.
If your device is supported, here are some troubleshooting steps that may solve crashing issues on Grand Theft Auto III 10th Anniversary Edition:
Close Background Applications Crashing may be caused by playing GTA III while other applications are running in the background. To fix this:
Android: Use an application such as Advanced Task Killer (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rechild. advancedtaskkiller&hl=en) to minimize the number of processes running in the background while playing GTA III Reboot the Device It may also help to restart the device and run GTA III from the fresh boot with no other applications running. To reboot the device:
Android: Some phones have their own unique soft boot methods, but the safest bet is to turn the phone off, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. Hard Reset the Device if Still Crashing After Rebooting
iOS and Android: Try making some room on your device if it is filled with other applications and data. In particular, this has been reported as a fix for some problems on the Galaxy S II, but may improve performance issues or crash problems on other devices as well. Redownload the Game
iOS and Android: To rule out possible data corruption, delete the game from your iOS or Android device and then re-download it from the App Store or Android Market. Be sure that there is enough space for that game and your signal is strong enough to complete the download. Update the OS/Firmware Please ensure that you are running the latest OS/Firmware on your phone or tablet.
Android: Press the "Home" button. Then press the "Menu" button (four horizontal lines, the word "Menu," or four small squares), then select "Settings." Select "About Phone." Choose "System Updates" and follow the on-screen directions to install any updates, if necessary. The lowest supported version is 2.2, but we recommend updating to the latest available. Determine if Other Applications are Causing a Conflict Occasionally, unforseen conflicts may arise between applications and uninstalling some of them may help to isolate the issue.
Android: Go to Settings->Applications->Manage Applications and uninstall other applications that may be interfering with GTA III. This may be particularly helpful if you are able to see in the error log (directions for recording error logs are in a later section of this article) which other Application could be running in the background, causing a problem. Restore the Device If you are definitely using a supported device and one or more of your applications is crashing consistently, try restoring your device.
Android: If your device is supported and you are crashing frequently in GTA III 10th Anniversary Edition and/or other applications, consider a factory reset. Note that you will lose data and settings. To perform a reset from the Home screen, go to Menu->Settings->SD & Phone Storage->Factory data reset->Confirm. Check the Crash Log
Android Error Log: On Android, we recommend downloading a free app such as aLogcat (https://market.android.com/details?id=org.jtb.alogcat&hl=en) to monitor any errors or crashes that occur on your device. This is useful not only when submitting tickets to Rockstar for help, but also as a way to determine yourself what processes or conflicts may be causing the problem.
For more information about Android troubleshooting, please refer to http://www.android.com/.
Personally I find closing all background applications before playing helped alot and rockstar couldn't help me with error logging to see if a background application is causing the problem.

Dear XDA members,
I’ve been playing Forge of Empires on the PC and last week I thought to try playing it on my phone (Samsung S3 Android 4.1.2 stock rooted) as well.
But when I tried to start the game I get the message that it needs Flash player 11.7, which of course, Android does not have.
So I’ve been looking for a workaround. What I’ve found and tried so far is:
1. Install the latest version of Flash for Android 11.1XX, no luck of course
2. Use a Cloud browser (tried Dolphin and Maxthon), it gives the message it needs Flash 11.5 and not 11.7, but still doesn’t work
3. Use adobe air, no luck
A friend of mine mentioned I might update to KitKat and then try to use a hacked version of Android along with the Dolphin browser found on this forum, but I’m not really up for updating to Kitkat right now.
Not unless someone knows for sure that 1. KitKat works ok on a Sumsung S3 and 2. The game works when using flash on Kitkat
Does anyone have an idea on how to either get Flash 11.7 (or a newer version) on my phone, or make the game think that I have android 11.7?
I’m open to any and all suggestions.
I know it might sound a bit silly trying everything to see if you can get a certain game running on your phone, but the thing is, it’s not about the game anymore, now it’s about finding out if I’ve really done all that can be done.
Any advise would be appreciated.
Yoora
I've been looking around the forum and can't see this mentioned, as well as a google search.
I'm wondering if it's possible to get Kids Mode from the S5 and Note 3 over to the n8010?

I think it will be quite possible. I have pulled Kids mode from Tab S but have not had a chance to look at it yet.
what ROM?
JB or KK?
JB doesn't have Kids Mode, but it has partial multiple user capability.
KK has Kid Mode / Guest Mode

I have a 4, 5, and 7 year old with rooted devices. My two youngest have N8013 tabs. I rooted them and installed a stock rom since I have been unable to locate a working download for CM10.1 for this device and needed Android v.4.1.x to swap the microSD with the internal storage and turn the tablets internal recognized storage to 64gb... or even 128gb with the new SanDisk card that came out. I use a free app locker from Play Store which locks apps you select with a passcode or pattern code. It works perfectly for redirects in games and in-app purchases as well. You will need to set SuperSU up to grant root privileges to needed apps as default. I use the pay version of chainfire's SuperSU, so it's easy to do with any ROM. The app is 'Applock' and its a nice GUI and super simple to use. I've set their devices like this since my oldest was 3 and got her first tablet... never a single issue Good Luck! :fingers-crossed:
Hi all,
2 days ago I started to use Bluestacks on my Windows 10 laptop and for a day it worked perfectly, truly flawless, I only play one game (Kritika) and that game had a major update and after that update the app starts but I keep getting this error message about xigncodehack detected or something.. So I tried yesterday evening to look for other emulators, to see if they had the same problem, but since there are more emulators out there than I thought, I don't know which one to choose which is best, personally I installed Bluestacks because it was the only emulator that I knew about, so my question basically is if anyone knows how to fix that hack error to play Kritika or if someone knows which Emulator doesn't have that problem and is better than BS? Also for if I wanted to play other games, it would be nice to have like a real android UI instead of the slimmed down version of BS imo..
Hope someone can help me?
