Here is the latest version of MIUI Rom for our G2x, this rom is based on the optimous 2x official release. I will try my best to keep this one updated with MIUI.

Does Wifi Calling Working on this Port?

I just flashed the rom and it took awhile to search for signal (as in OP stated) but after that it stays connected. Haven't try GPS yet, I'll try tomorrow morning. Wifi calling still no go for me... still Invalid sim. Beside that, everything working well so far. Thanks siulmagic again for the port.

When i had the mytouch4g, it worked perfectly. Since i moved to this g2x, i always got "invalid sim "

@Siulmagic, hey i am trying to learn how to port o2x to g2x.. MIUI is an example, i know boot.img has to be changed since it is the main file, kernel has to be changed.. RIL file needs to be changed.. i am trying to figure out.. do you extract MIUI system folder and re-cook the rom, or do you just change some files since it is similar. please let me know. thanks

I've never had Wifi Calling work on MIUI using the G2x. It always reported an invalid sim.
Whitehaux typically just updates the base to coincide with new MIUI builds but doesn't have the time to really get down with it. Seems we're picking up more bugs as we go.
I eventually went back to CM7 a few days ago because it just got so crazy.

Why is it that wifi calling doesnt work on miui?? I really like miui but wifi calling is a deal breaker..

I ported Sweep2Wake and DoubleTap2Wake features to CM11 kernel.

Sweep2wake (S2W) allows you to wake up your device by swiping your finger across the capacitive buttons from left to right.
Swiping from right to left will put it back to sleep (sweep2sleep).

1=enable sweep2wake and sweep2sleep (default)
2=enable sweep2sleep only​
- DoubleTap2Wake
DoubleTap2Wake (DT2W) allows you to wake the device by double tapping the screen.

This kernel is just for standalone CM11 and is not compatible with stock 4.4.2 ROM. Sorry.
I have no plan to port S2W/DT2W to the stock 4.4.2 kernel. My patch will be helpful for porting.
By the way, stock Sense 6.0 will have Motion Launch gestures that support S2W/DT2W.

I am using 0424 nightly with my kernel and there is no problem.
Please update to the latest nightly and retry.

I was using the same nightly.
maybe it's caused by flashify. just started to use this a week ago. will test with normal fastboot flashing when back home from work. I should really install ADB in our office
EDIT: the governor problem was only with CM internal settings. kernel tuner was able to change the gov.

@kyasu - thanks for this kernel. I have a question - did you also experience this?
a) When I drive and have Google Maps on, the phone is constantly discharging even if it is connected to my car charger. (app. minus 5 % in 30 minutes)
b) When I do the same, but I am on any SENSE-based ROM, the phone is charging. (app. plus 7% in 30 minutes.)
Do you have any ideas?

Hey Guys! So, I want to know that which ROM do you think is the most stable and fast ROM available currently on our device? I prefer speed over features. Also Xposed and ViperFX should preferably work. Am currently on CM 13 but it doesn't over kernel OC.

Okay, now it's working fine. Sorry, before I didn't flash Agni Kernel. AWESOME ROM. BEST KITKAT ROM I'VE EVER USED! I think I'm gonna be sticking to this for a while. Just two things:
1) When I installed ViperFX, it didn't show driver options. Effects are working nonetheless.
2) The ROM has a theme engine built in. What kind of themes can I use???

unfortunately I am only at the beginning, I'm learning slowly how to create rom from source code, for the moment I do not know to create kernels with overcloclock or similar. I'm only 15 years old, and this is the second ROM in total which I compile

See PACMan builds with overkill kernel by niropa. Just search in that thread and you'll find many ROMs like CarbonKK or PA, which are made to work on LP bootloader

Will this work on msim variant also? I read you mentioned xt1032 but still if you know..

It might work, but has been tested only on xt1032 aka falcon.

Yes, I have used Overkill kernel that @Niropa has used in his Pac-man rom build, with the hope of fix the screen flickering, but the problem remain. This is aniway a good and stable kernel. For more information see: https://github.com/ReaperXL2/Overkill_V4_extended/tree/cm-11.0

But are kernel sources updated? Or using it cause some incompatility such as hotspot, bt or something else?

All work fine, bluetooth and hotspot work. I have tested it, the only warnings are 3:
-Do not active kernel samepage merging, you will have problem in camera
-install gapps only after the first reboot of the rom
-If you use whatsapp install it before switching to ART (in developer setting, for better performance select ART)
There aren't particular bugs

Because if you install the rom and after the gapps and you reboot, the setup wizard crash. I have tryed it

I don't have the link I haven't built for the moto g in ages, just go to the xperience thread, their is only 1 kernel by teamex called xperience

Fix for any LE2X526 MIUI rom's Low Brighness issue.

Hi Guys,
Its a great news for those who want to install MIUI on their LE2X526. Until now, we have been facing low brightness issue with almost all the MIUI roms we had installed till date except one which was a little buggy when applying darker themes and recent apps.
But now, the latest release of AndroModX Kernel(V2) which had been developed by Rishabh Rao can solve this issue. I had installed MIUI Russian official version and along with it, installed AndroModX V2 kernel just to test it out. I had installed the same rom earlier but had uninstalled it due to low brightness issue which was too much strain on eyes and is totally non visible in daylight.
But with AndromodX Kernel, right after the first boot up, the screen was even brighter than EUI stock rom and every thing was working just fine. Even battery backup seems to have improved drastically. In the course of 1hour 30 minutes that I used MIUI Official Russian rom with AMX Kwernel, battery dropped just 5%.
I was at 79% when I started working on the rom with 4G network on and I put the screen on highest brightness level which was very very bright. Sync was on, download was on at full speed, music playing in the backgroud & I was browsing.
If any one like to use MIUI on their LE2X526, try it alongside AMX Kernel. Preferably use Russian Version of MIUI coz it does not have any chinese blotware. Or you can try the kernel with any other version of MIUI. Your choice.

Yes its working and battery timing improved a lot too. Just to add, need to flash EUI-Andromax2 for the fix.

But with AndromodX Kernel, right after the first boot up, the screen was even brighter than EUI stock rom and every thing was working just fine. Even battery backup seems to have improved drastically. In the course of 1hour 30 minutes that I used MIUI Official Russian rom with AMX Kwernel, battery dropped just 5%.
I was at 79% when I started working on the rom with 4G network on and I put the screen on highest brightness level which was very very bright. Sync was on, download was on at full speed, music playing in the backgroud & I was browsing.
If any one like to use MIUI on their LE2X526, try it alongside AMX Kernel. Preferably use Russian Version of MIUI coz it does not have any chinese blotware. Or you can try the kernel with any other version of MIUI. Your choice.

(MIUI Installation might take some time as the script will show "Waiting for System: resource busy" for some time. But it will complete the flashing none the less.
Then install the Kernel.

Hi, I have flashed the Russian ROM n eui amx2. It works, brightness solved but phone softboot frequently n sometimes network goes off suddenly.
Is there any solution for this?

Wipe cache, device, data & system. Then flash MIUI first. After that, immediately flash and kernel. Then go to wipe and factory reset. Then reboot to system.

I had not faced that issue. But I think, you can flash eui19s modem over it. This may solve the issue.

Do you mean that the brightness slider and VoLTE are working?

brighness issue is solved after flashing kernel but volte is not working

No luck... Did everything! Wiping formatting! I am using TWRP, is it causing any problem?
