There is actually a really good TPU case at Best Buy from their Rocket Fish line thats 20 bucks. Love it.
i purchased a hard cover case on ebay for $5.50
not sure if we can post ebay links, but if you search for Black Hard Cover Case For Motorola Triumph you'll find it. pretty decent
Yeah, the Rocketfish case is good - I have one.
Now if I could find a source for a second (and/or third!) battery.... that and an external charger for the spare batteries.....
So far, no dice on those...
Here is the one I bought: http://cgi.ebay.com/Black-Hard-Cove...598760?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item35b42520a8
Fits perfect, and even has the hole on the back for the mic, vol buttons, and power button
I just picked up the Rocketfish case from best buy.. I know the price is pretty steep @ 20.99, but this is really a nice case. It's very sturdy and has a nice feel to it. It's much nicer than one of the cheap silicone or snap on cases from amazon or ebay. Those other cases will break on the first drop (my experiences from the snap on cases) or just tear up and get stuck in your pocket (silicone cases). This case feels very sturdy and is not rubbery feeling at all, and doesn't add much if any bulk. And best of all it doesn't get stuck in my pocket! I think this case will be a good alternative until maybe an otterbox or something similar comes out. I really wouldn't waste your time with those cheap cases, just get this one or wait so you don't waste your money.

It's my souped up phone..
Good source for spare batteries and external charger is Anker brand on Amazon or ebay.
I am currently using a Griffin Ipad1 folio case, paid $5 from the verizon sale, classy high quality leather look, well built, great protection and most importantly it doesn't block anything. I mean ANYTHING including the most important speakers which is also where the heat coming outs also. It is almost a perfect case to use it at work and school but I am trying to find something little bit different when I am using it at home.
Most of the Ipad1 folio cases will work but just depends on the style and the quality you want. I am thinking something close to the otterbox style, I tried a few cases and been reading alot online.
Otterbox, as everyone know it does not fit unless someone smart comes out with a easy way to modify it to fit then it will be the most ideal case.
Speck Candyshell hard case, some said it will fit so I ordered one from ATT (Since you don't like it you can return it back to retail store). It does but it's little bit loose so it's not secured enough and the volume down is stuck. No go.
Hp OEM case, best fit and best looking case for the touchpad but not enough protections compares to the Griffin case. If you have an OEM case, you should try out the griffin case.
After countless hours of researching... saw this little Speck IPAD1 rubber case that might work for the touchpad. It's called Speck Pixelskin Silicone Soft Grip Case for IPAD1.
Someone is selling on Ebay for $10 now, does anyone have this to confirm the fitment? Thanks,

Did the case fit your touchpad? i just picked up 2 on ebay for nephews and want to protect the tablet. thanks.
Hey guys,
Recently I bought this and while it looked great at first, it dawned on me that it doesn't tightly fit my device and the bottom part of my Nexus 4 has slipped out of the case a couple times..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/FULL-BLACK-...959490?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item56513a4042
So now I'm hunting for a new case. I've had really good experiences with the Seidio case with my Nexus S, but it's proven to be rather expensive compared to what others have offered. Wouldn't mind going back if it's the only case of this category that is the best fit and protection for the device.
I was looking at the Mybat but was concerned about the actual bulk of the device, and it being easy to remove as I often take off the shell from time to time. Also, no one seemed to comment if the case interferes with headphones with L-shaped plugs either.
The other two contenders are Ballistic and Ionic, heard great things from both but unsure which is better. I did hear that Ionic cases attract lint very easily but I do like its price very much. Not a fan of the bubble-back design though. Heard great things about Ballistic, but like the Seidio case, the cost is making me apprehensive about purchasing one.
Mybat: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-Nexus-4-...4?pt=PDA_Accessories&var=&hash=item2a286793ca

So what do you guys think would be the best?

I have the iconic and thought it was too thick, so I ordered the Ballistic one and it's even thicker
I'm tempted to try the ACTIVE but I have spent so much on cases it isn't even funny....
Edit...I just bought it on ebay for $24.99 and free shipping.
When i had my gs3 i had a variety of cases including; cheap ebay "tough" cases with kickstands, an otterbox defender (never again), and a ballistic sg. The Ballistic is a GREAT case. It was sturdy, the phone would never pop out, the plastic was nice, and the silicone inner was much better than the plastic inner found on the defender. The silicon not only prevented scratches, but also prevented dust and any other unwanted items in. It almost seals the device. When i bought my nexus 4, i was very dissapointed that there weren't any decent protective cases out. I knew the ballistic sg was coming, but ive had my device since december and needed something for the short term... Something to get so i can wait for the ballistic. I was almost going to buy the case you bought, but i really don't like kickstands. I searched on ebay and found the mybat tough case, I bought it as it met all my requirements; it was cheap, it was protective, it didn't have a kickstand, and it actually looked good. The buyer i bought my case from shipped the case very fast to Australia, (which suprised me, usually these types of cases end up taking about a month) To my suprise, the case was really good quality for the price. The cutouts were (almost) perfect, the fit was pefect, the phone doesn't move about at all. I paid 15 dollars shipped to Australia compared the 70 or 80 odd dollars it would cost me to buy a ballistic shipped. I had the case on for a day, and I loved it...Until I tried to hang up on a phone call... the sensor on the lg is very sensitive, and this case just blocks it enough to stop the screen coming on. This fault was quickly fixed with a drill bit, and since then, i have had no issues, and will continue using this case for the remainder of the phones life. I simply prefer the whole case over the ballistic i had on the s3. However the ballistic was slightly better made, it doesn't warrant even a 15 dollar increase over this case. I love this case. (Note in my pictures the proximity cut out I modified) I did a custom design with sharpie marker on mine and it came out awesome! I wouldn't do this to a more expensive case as id be worried about wrecking it, but since these bad boys are so cheap, who cares. If this broke, i wouldn't think twice at buying another one.
Edit: This case also works with my energizer qi charging mat.
that back is awesome!
FYI the ballistic case works with the LG-WCP700 wireless charging pad. I do however find it is harder to hold on to as it's slippery compared to the Ionic. It's also larger than the Ionic.
I'd go with Mybat (because it's cheap and looks decent) or the Active (because seidio makes a good product and I like the kickstand.)
i also love the look of rugged cases.. been using them ever since my first smartphone
currently i am using this armourdilo case that i saw online.. it is available for sale on mobilefun website or i have seen a seller through eBay AUS...
availbale in a varieety of colours as well although i stuck the standard black on black ...
as well as many youtube vdo reviews bout it.. so i decided to buy it.. really good look and feel..

How easy is it to remove the case once installed? Plus does it interfere with L-shaped headphone jacks?

The case is easier to get off than my ballistic sg on the s3 was. With that said, if i drop it, it doesn't feel as if it will fly apart. The case has interfered with one of my L-shaped head jacks, and works with another.. i just use a simple headphone extender when i want to use those earphones.

I have the ionic case on mine wasn't too sure from the pictures but I like it and the circles on the back aid grip.
I also dropped it from about 5feet and it bounced on all 4 corners but the phone was fine!
Mate I answered you about headphones, check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37912172#post37912172 :silly: I can recommend the tuff case too, it is a solid and very fair priced case.

Afternoon team,
So I'm moving from iOS back to android next week, with a new Note 4 on its way!
I used to have an S2 and enjoyed the hell out of trying custom ROM's, but I'll get on to that in a few weeks time!
First off though, of course, is getting the right case and accessories. All opinions and set-ups welcomed!
Keep in mind, I use my phone as SatNav as I drive a lot, daily. Things like flipcases would be irrelevant as I can only imagine how rubbish they are to mount in a car. Also, I like tough cases as long as they aren't too bulky. The CaseMate for iPad Mini's are incredible (iPad mini is a main tool in my business). Wireless charging seems intriguing, so I wouldn't mind looking into that. As long as it works through standard cases?
I've looked at the Spigen cases, they look ok. But there's an awful lot of mixed reviews on here.
So, dream scenarios people... what accessories and case should I go for??
Spigen capsule i have got that one and is awesome, great feel, good protecion and it also looks god
Thanks,
The Spigen line look cool but I do find their insistence on 'Auto Focus' a little out of taste!
If you need a case then I can recommend Spigen as I have had them on many of my phones and loved them although I'm not a case user most of the time. I have the capsule for the Note 4 and I like it but with an already big phone it makes it bigger but not too much.
If you don't need a case then I would recommend the qi wireless charging back cover even if your not going to use wireless charging to charge the phone because to me it makes the phone feel better in hand.
If you are going to use wireless charging then I the Nexus magnetic charger looks good especially when used with a good dash mount.
Samsung spare battery kit is also good to have because it comes with a battery holder/charger and a slim holder as well.
samsung oem qi back cover, iblason armorbox case, itian wireless car charger, 3m scotch double sided outdoor tape, 3 coil desktop qi charger. thats all you need.
-Samsung Protective cover. I've tried many cases from Spigen, and other brands, but nothing beats the OEM cover for me.
-A pack of plastic screen protectors. Spigen, iSmooth, iCarez, Halo all fit well. I haven't been happy with any tempered glass protector.
-A decent Micro SD card that fits your storage needs.
I want to suggest
Xpower 2.4A Aluminium Alloy Micro USB Cable
http://www.agrade.com.hk/index.php/...inium-alloy-micro-usb-cable.html?options=cart
can also find it on Ebay
There's a crazy deal on flash cards today, 128gb at 80$.
For must have though my list is short
Case since accidents happen, I use a 10$ caseology who's gaudy label came off with some rubbing alcohol.
Tempered glass screen protector if you're willing to get it at bestbuy, so they'll put it on and you can return it instantly if there's haloing. They tried four protectors until one worked, curved glass sucks.
High amp car charger for rapid charging, mpow is usually on sale. Mine was 8$.
I like a flat wireless receiver tucked behind the back door since I randomly find myself around wireless chargers, make sure it supports nfc if you use nfc.
Firekat rom to double your battery life since zerolemon is expensive
I recently picked up this 10000mAh Battery Case from ZeroLemon for my S22 Ultra. My jaw dropped as I took it out of the packaging and saw how big this thing is. The Amazon page states that it is as thick as 3 S22 Ultras and yeah, it's pretty close to that.
Aside from its thickness the case feels pretty durable. It comes with a dual layer system, a polycarbonate interior shell covered by a tough exterior skin similar to an Otterbox. It has all the cutouts for the cameras, charger, pen, speaker and microphones. The overlay on the hardware buttons feel a little mushy but have a satisfying "click" when depressed.
As far as protection goes I think it will do a decent job of keeping your S22U from getting jacked up should you drop it while wearing this suit of armor. The corners are well protected as well as the camera. The screen, however, isn't really recessed from the front so a screen protector is definitely recommended. Although the product page on Amazon says that this case is not compatible with a tempered glass screen protector, the one I purchased (AACL) has no issues fitting with this case.
I have been using this for a couple of days now and yet to plug it to recharge. And as far as that goes, you can either use your USB-C cable or a wireless charging pad to charge the battery and your phone simultaneously.
I have been a ZeroLemon fan since the days of the Galaxy SIII and I am so glad they came out with this. It has everything that I am looking for in a battery case but I wish they would have included a belt clip similar to an Otterbox to help lug this thing around. Any one else thinking about or already picked up one of these? If so how are you liking it?

So what is the total weight of this unit + phone together?
As someone who wants to bicycle to camping spots far away from civilization for about 3-4 days, this would be excellent. And yet, this case wouldn't fit most handlebar mounts. I'm sure the case I have is already pushing it since the phone is already so big (Pelican), these just keep getting bigger.
_________
Also: @mzsquared
Product Weight: 9.45 oz (267g)
Phone weight 229g
= 496g (1.093lbs.)
So more dangerous than 1 brick of butter.
Wow, looks bigger than any previous one's i've used from them.. can it work with the Whitestone Dome screen protector?
This case looks desirable. Some of the product reviews on Amazon say it falsely detects water damage, preventing charging. Is this a problem anyone in this thread has seen?
That thing is an absolute monstrosity. I can't imagine having that in my pocket at the gym. Suspenders would be a necessity.
look like you can kill somebody with it lol

It shouldn't. I don't start charging mine until I'm @25% or less. Maybe if you constantly turned it on and charged all the time.

I want to get one too! A have a couple of questions, if you don't mind answering them. Does the case super fast charge the phone? Also, does the case get super fast charged too? Because I normally use the 45W one and I wouldn't like a step down from that one.
