Yes for some reason I can not delete anything from my sd card nor will it reformat its a scan disk 64 gig. I can copy stuff off or on to it just cant delete.. anyone have some ideas? Thanks.
I tried a different card so its not the phone. ..I don't understand. .with the old one I can delete some stuff but most wont.

Where did you format it? on the phone or on the computer using an sd card slot on the computer or a usb card reader. I had the same problem with my Sandisk 64gb and i reformatted with an usb card reader on my computer and it seem to fix it.
I just switched it out can't get anything to delete it.

Can someone help me on this.. every time i plug my sd card to the PC it says "Format disk?" and when i plug it to my phone, it says "Blank Sd card". i can't reformat it and i can't access the files in my sd card..
i've tried several formatting tools, revery tools, but none of them work..
My sd card is SanDisk 2GB MicroSD card..

There are a ton of threads on this. Search through and use a couple of them.
Sounds like you have a bad card or your are not unmounting the card in your phone.
Some viruses and rootkits will prevent your pc from formatting or recognizing external media. Verify your computer can recognize other cards.
yeah i know there are lots of threads about this.. but , no luck, non of them work..i plugged it at other devices and still the same.. xD w/c means sandisk is bad?

same **** happened to me..(twice!) and appaerantly there isn't any easy way to recover an sd card from that state. Easiest (though most expensive) solution is to just buy a new one..
Yep - sounds like its broke. BUT consider that back in the day a floppy disk would run you $1 or $2. If you scaled that up a 2gb card would cost $1,400 to $2,800.
Makes me want to go backup.
sound like its broken, but try to use minitool partition wizard.
use this settings:
-Choose Create as Primary.
-Patrition type Ext2
-Cluster size 4Kb Cluster size 4Kb
I have had a micro sd card in my tablet for a while now and just recently it has dropped out and my tablet wont pick it up. I have taken it out and put it back in a few times, tried restarting it and I also updated the tablet but nothing has worked. I have movies, apps and music on the sd card so icant use any of this now. Some one please help!

Backup card via a card reader use RECUVA if you cannot see the files in windows explorer .
Then format the card FAT2 .
\Or try on of the sd card forums .

As above, try to use a sd card reader, if PC doesn't pick it up it means your sd card is toast... Replace it...
When I plugged my sd card to my memory card reader, It wants me to reformat the card to be able to use it. I said ok that's easy because I've tried it before but then It says windows unsuccessfully format the sd card. I've tried a lot of things like using the command prompt, device manager etc but to NO avail, I still cannot reformat it. Now I cannot make partitions for my apps. PLease do help me.. thanks.

Most likely, you might have write protection on. You can disable it by getting the Micro SD card adapter and sliding it back to off.

I bought a new sd card for my dinc. I tried to format it but Windows said it could not format. I was able to use the card anyway as I later learned that the card came pre-formatted.

Are you talking about a removable micro sd card?
If you are - Copy everything you need / want to your pc and Format the micro sd card either in your phone or your computer - Insert it (if not already) into your phone - You should see a message saying something like "a new sd card has been detected". The sd card should be setup as Portable Storage.

It is a Kingston SD card and my phone does not detect anything when i put my SD in it. So if anyone nas an ideja what the problem could be please help. Thanks..

try put the sd card in other device or try put other sd card in your j7.If doesnt detect, backup your data then format your phone.If problem still occur your sdcard slot are problem.

Maybe you should try the easy option first, check if the phone detects another sd card, if so, the problem is in your Kingston SD Card and you must take it to the warranty.
