I have had a micro sd card in my tablet for a while now and just recently it has dropped out and my tablet wont pick it up. I have taken it out and put it back in a few times, tried restarting it and I also updated the tablet but nothing has worked. I have movies, apps and music on the sd card so icant use any of this now. Some one please help!

Backup card via a card reader use RECUVA if you cannot see the files in windows explorer .
Then format the card FAT2 .
\Or try on of the sd card forums .

As above, try to use a sd card reader, if PC doesn't pick it up it means your sd card is toast... Replace it...

So I'm fairly new to android phones and my GNex doesn't have an SD card so I don't know what to do. My friends HTC Desire HD keeps saying the SD card is unmounted and when he goes to mount it in settings, it keeps saying it is safe to remove it. What can I do? I tried putting in another sd card and it worked but this one won't. Thanks in advance.
Edit: I put the sd card into my computer and saw that all the files were still there. I put it back in the phone and now they've showed up. Why did this happen and how can I avoid it in the future?

I have an HTC Sensation XE
I used an 8GB SD Card which worked well until suddenly it started giving me "Sd card unexpectedly removed" , so I had to remove it and reinsert it and restart the phone to make it work again.When it stopped working on my phone, I got to copy the files to my PC, and I got another 8GB SD Card, which I tried to copy the folders from the pc , but no files showed, and it auto-deleted the folders,I installed a large application from the market and the part on the SD Card was deleted.I got a 16 GB SD Card,but same problem, I erased it, still I can't get the files from my pc to the Card and get make them work,so got any answers?

Perhaps you can help. For about a month now my sd card refuses to mount on my phone. It just happened randomnly. Now, obviously, I can't access my access all my music etc.
The card reads fine on a card reader and is visible in my 4ext recovery utility. It is not accessible via the usb connection either.
I have installed an old rom, again the message that appears is 'removed sd card' as soon as I boot.
I'm running endymion v2.1 rom.
Any suggestion would be fantastic.

try changing the ROM you are using..I had the same problem..flashed other ROM and the problem was solved..for me anyway...
you could try copying the contents of the SD card onto your PC using the card reader, format the SD card, then copy back the contents from the PC, worked for me

Yes for some reason I can not delete anything from my sd card nor will it reformat its a scan disk 64 gig. I can copy stuff off or on to it just cant delete.. anyone have some ideas? Thanks.

Where did you format it? on the phone or on the computer using an sd card slot on the computer or a usb card reader. I had the same problem with my Sandisk 64gb and i reformatted with an usb card reader on my computer and it seem to fix it.
I just switched it out can't get anything to delete it.
So my phone doesn't detect my SD card at all. I've tried almost everything. I cleaned the card, tried to solve the problem on the device and looked for my phone compatibilities with the SD. It is a Kingston SD card and my phone does not detect anything when i put my SD in it. So if anyone nas an ideja what the problem could be please help. Thanks..

try put the sd card in other device or try put other sd card in your j7.If doesnt detect, backup your data then format your phone.If problem still occur your sdcard slot are problem.

Maybe you should try the easy option first, check if the phone detects another sd card, if so, the problem is in your Kingston SD Card and you must take it to the warranty.
