Switch from Cyanogen to Color OS - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I was lucky one who got the phone with CM11S but, I've heard that Color OS has a better camera that works only on Color OS, I've searched the forums but everyone is trying to go from Color OS to Cyanogen, and I want the reverse thing, is this possible?

Just a few threads down I found a post to convert to Color OS, sorry ... Please delete this thread ... I've scrolled down dozen times but noticed only now

Many thanks Guys
well you may be new to android but with 129 posts you are obviously not new to these forums so you should know how to search. and this goes in the themes section, not software and hacking. and if you had searched that forum youd have found the answer...you should try it some time.
the images you are looking for are in framework-res.apk in res/drawable. just replace them with whatever you like, then sign and flash.
all the answers you need are in the Android themes section. try searching there before posting next time, as it is QUITE LIKELY that whatever your question is, it has already been answered there at LEAST once...

[Completed] Problem with Cyanogenmod7 (2.3.7Ginger) on Notifications

Hello, my name is Sunicito from Venezuela:laugh:.
I've got a Huawei UM840 Known in my country as "Huawei Evolution 1", it is a very old and low-spec phone could only run Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread. I installed it with the CyanogenMod7, the rom and the installation guide was on a Venezuelan forum.
I've got to say the rom runs pretty smoothly and it doesnt lags (considering this phone stock rom is Eclair2.1 upgradeable to Froyo2.2 officially) so i am very happy with 2.3.7.
Everything was going fine with the phone and the rom but i have seen a problem with the notifications bar, specially when i slide it down, the notification letters show in dark as the background of the "sliding dock" so it is very hard to read what says unless i pass the finger trough it.
I Took screenshots for better understanding of my problem:
This is what normally happens when you slide the notifications bar: i.imgur. com/46hqPbp.png
This is what happens when you pass the finger trough it: imgur. com/EhHqzLl.png
So, my question is; what can i do to make those letters at least blank? i know CyanogenMod is very customizable and also this Rom came with ADWLauncher as stock launcher. I mean, its there any twerk that i can modify to get it at least readable?
I came to you becouse you know very well of these situations, i googled a lot but i didnt find anything.
I apologize for my bad english, im studying it so maybe in a future you will see a better understanding on my threads!
Greetings and thanks so much if you read this.
I hope that you can help me to find a solution! :good:
Good day to y'all people!

Unfortunately there is not much about your exact device on xda.
Here is what I found:
Huawei Evolution/UM840 Android 2.2 Froyo [Froyo Evolution v1.3.1] by Josue_181
[RECOVERY][ROM]Huawei U8500 by xcoder_123
You can post your question either in the last thread, or in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.
Good luck !

[Needed] Custom Dark Themes for Stock Roms

I wanted to know if anyone out there has got a custom theme installed for stock roms.
I seen some for CM..
I want my menu's to be dark background based but not after have a custom rom to do it.
I looked through this sub forum and seen nothing related..
Thanks if anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how i can start patching it myself.
If i knew where the stuff is controlled form that would help.
I have experience doing all kinds of thing such as making a Rockbox Theme.
I don't think anyone has done any yet, I've done AOSP signal cluster and navbar mods but haven't touched the theme yet. If you use xposed "lollipop themer" seems to be popular for theming stock ROMs.
Here's a great guide and its always evolving and improving...

[Guide][How to theme lollipop roms with ease]
Interesting thanks.. 230 pages on that link wow LOL
Sadly it seems you would have to decompile a lot of apk's.
I wasn't sure if there was just some settings somewhere (in 1 place)
You would think the Android dev's would at least support some basic color theme changes right ?
I am surprised there is no built in support for this idea.
I have no doubt a lot of people out there want dark backgrounds like me.

The majority of the system can be pretty easily themed. Its framework, systemui, settings, dialer and phone. Then there's guys like team black out who do a lot of 3rd party apps and gapps. If there were more interest from the stock ROM users I'd do a dark system theme but I've done a few mods here and people don't seem to interested because of all the custom ROMs we have.
thanks for more info.. never heard of Team Black no idea what that is about but i love it already LOL
i am bonkers for patching everything i can so it's black
i'm an Android noob and getting my crash course done ahha
i had a Samsung Galaxy S3 way back for a while then broke it..
i pulled up and broke the digitizer under the glass and had to sell it for parts on ebay.
listed honestly as broken i still got $60 though
I even threw in the unused glass repair kit i had ready.
So my interests are cracking, modding / patching software usually on windows.
i have experience going back 15 years on linux but i drop it and forget lots by the time i go back to Nix.
i also have a passion for graphics modding.. i am good at editing graphic UI's and pic's etc
I did a popular Rockbox theme for the Fuze+ PMP too called Carbon.
I have the same theme on that as my Windows desktop theme and WMC theme and even on my phone. (on my old 2008 phone and wallpaper on my Moto-E)
A whole suite of digital devices that all have a theme i made
But hey guy of you get motivated and have the time go for it i bet many of us would like some black'ness
Projects can eat up a lot of time.. my Fuze+ Rockbox theme took me months.
I created icon sets and statusbar icons many i made by drawing out 1 pixel at a time with Fireworks.
anyway lol
yeah many of us use the stock rom (often with Squid's custom kernel + TWRP)
I have looked at CM and others and felt it was just too much.
i appreciate their work though even if i choose not to use it.
A lot of people do a lot on the web and share it all for nothing in return.. respect for them !
i found this place hacking an old phone back in 2008 and recently came back for Android..
Check this out...

Titanium Backup Pro theme problem

I have come across a very strange problem with TB and was wondering if others had a similar problem or a solution. My TB worked perfectly under KitKat, but after installing Lollipop it seems to have changed its colours to a much darker tone generally but perticularly irritant is tha fact that searching for an app with "click edit filters" the results do not appear. You only get a white box of different lenghts depending on the number of results, but no text in it. The filtering works ok though, it is simply a display problem. I have tried to alter the colour settings in android without any success. I have not tried theme changers as I understand that Lollipo 5 is rather impossible to theme, but this might be the solution in the end. Any other ideas most welcome.
Samsung Note3 with Lollipop 5.0 rooted TB version 8.1.0 but same problem with earlier versions
Thanks
