i have htc sensation
i recently rooted my phone but i didnt install new rom on it and it has the orginal one
some day i wanted to change font of my android phone i didnt know know how how to do this then i installed the font changer.apk which required rooted access so i intalled it but the size of pages was too small then i installed font size.apk to fix it but it changed the sort of my app pages. befor i change my font each page had 10 app for example after i change fonts size the sort of app page changed there is a line between app menu when i change pages and some apps are shown twice. one in first page second in next page its not big deal the bigest problem is when i touch camera icon the screen goes to black and suddenly it doesnt open it and it goes back to main menu i found some solution for it some people said i should reboot my phone to fix it but sometimes it doesnt work i figure out new way : i installed app killer when i kill apps two or 3 times camera problem will be alright my question is what happened to my phone when i changed font my phone and camera used to work good before but now camera doesn't work sometimes and how can i fix the problem of app sorting in menu i mean that black line which separate pages is in the middle of page how can i fix it again
the last question is should i install new Rom on my rooted device my phone's Rom is the original one i didn't install costume Rom i know i cant update this Rom to android 2.3.5 but how can i find the best sens version of those Rom there are bunch of Roms in ur site and i couldn't find the best one each of rom threads has more than 500 pages i have no time to read those pages which Rom is good for me??? i don't know about the deference between those rom this is my first time which i am using android phone and i dont want to screw it up so i want to use the best one and i should say a little thing which is: when i changed the font of my phone i didn't back up the previous one and i think when i used font size it changed the sort of app menu please help. sorry about this long thread i wanted to clear it out to get the best respond please tell me if i should answer to any question like android version or etc. my phone version is 2.3.4 sense version 3.0 software num: 1.45.41....

The theme slash app is available for download with some cool features i added like a new solid battery icon,improve HTc theme,faster scrolling now,support landscape mode now,haves zune on it now but not finish with it,and new weather design look for the theme and better darker text or like to call it words and for the last thing this improves the remove program app in setting now oh ya and its faster tell me if you find any bugs in it so I can fix it here is the file name u should be downloading to your windowsmobile standard device HTC Edition windowsmobile standard cab.zip you should find it in this thread
The next update will have a better interface, have 3d weather forcast,fix the homescreen problem with not supporting the theme somethimes but not that bad but needs more work and if you do have problem with it just go to your themes and just assign it to your device as your theme again and it should work ,finish the Zune App,and make it possible to change the clock to add better one"s,make the landscape mode better,and maybe able to change the start menu icons into htc icons and that is all.

4/1/10 update here i some other cool stuff that u can add to those files like a desire battery that i found on the xda developer site that works on windowsmobile standard devices to but its was made for touch devices but it works his name is Dark Ninja give him credit for these cool batteries.but the taskbar dont work and when installing these make sure to restart your device when they done loading.

just add more stuff that would change your phone interface .The cabs would be out somewhere today or the next day. just checking everything out making sure it want mess up people samsungjack device.The things i fix was the battery icon not show the full percentage and just start over and made a new one and increase the wordsor test alittilebetter but if you dont like you can change it and this feature in sktool that improves the speed of the phone just to make it run faster and so other stuff that helps it to.
if you want me to add any more features to just leave a message and i will see what i can do to make it happen
oh this would work on qvga standard devices and wvga and qvga professional devices to video would becoming out with the new improvements.

i have a problem the battery doesnt keep the right percentage does it on your phone?
wait are u using the old one or the new one i made if you using the old one you better off changing in to the new one because that one needs to be fix or i need to find a solution on how to make it work
plus show me a pic of your phone using it so i can see wat is wrong with the old battery.

here is the theme but u would need the other cab files to look like mines in the picture and i adding the landscape mode so you can use it on your phone to and tell me if it works on your phone. wait nevermind you dont need those other files already install into this one enjoy
If you have any problems installing this you may need total commander to get the theme and the add on"s or u can open it threw winzip on your computer in just transfer one by one to your computer.It is almost 3 ways you can do it or just download straight from your phone this is third way
4/1/10 updated this post just decided to just give you all the cab files in the file to just make them seperate due to problems trying to put them and the same file format plus if i do put it in one file you may not like some of the stuff thats why i did this enjoy

no you just go to pictures and assign them ask your background
the layout you have selected cannot be loaded. please selecta different layout using the home screen item in settings
just go to setting then go to display then home screen when you get to the last part u should see something about home screen layout you would find HTC2 in there plus if you want to change background for it you should find the background image

deleted the old top pics
the problem i found with the thing keep say error about the background made because of screen size i think but mostly every theme does that on windowsmobile standard devices it just a glitch in the standard rom that they just need to fix or someone who wants to make a better rom for it would help it but is not bad it only happens only one or twice but is going to fix the problems and others.

I think what you're looking for with the Homescreen is LauncherPro or the like, a homescreen replacement. It's free on the market, but seeing as you're having issues with the market you may be able to get the .apk from the dev? Not sure.
i got the apk file, but when i download an app it gets stuck at starting download any idea ?

For example the already known - removing HTC Sense will cause some weird behavior (for example Settings -> Personalization).
I will test this as soon as possible.
Yeah but if HTC Sense is gone then GOLauncher won't require you to personalize because it will allow you to manually download themes and if you hold the home screen you can set a wallpaper.

One drawback with changing Rom I find is link2SD needs re doing each time, I need to re partition the SD after each new Rom. Not sure that's normal. It's not a massive deal but is certainly affecting my down time.
Right now I'm using my legend as didn't have time to sort all the post new Rom admin I seem to keep doing!

Suggestion: Put IM+ on it since from my point of view is light-weight and you can add multiple accounts (Yahoo, Skype, MSN, etc.). Since video calls are not supported Skype is just an instant messaging software. It's just my suggestion

Ok, first major problem - cannot type number 0 in the PIN code screen
So basically my PIN starts with 0, therefore I cannot unlock it

All screens that have the blue bar on the right are from Sense (for example USB connection screen).

Unfortunately had to jump off into a meeting so I restored my previous backup. Didn't have any time to check for a fix. Try using a keyboard file (update.zip) from the Flashable keys thread and see if that works.
Did just that and was thinking of updating the post right before you did. If you take the keyboard files from the flashable keylayouts thread and replace them in the rom zip file it works. Apparently they are missing completly from the rom zip.
Gonna use the rom today and let you know what else i can find.
LE: The bootanimation and downanimation are currenty named hTC_bootanimation and hTC_downanimation and that's why they don't work. They need to be named
bootanimation.zip and downanimation.zip
LE2: Apparently by using the keylayout from the keylayout thread, the english one, other keys get scrambled. Looking into it.
Please use lightdroider a.s.a.p - this is finished now and if i said i was going to make 2.1 - i am not.
Lightdroider is more faster and has more space for you.

I was wondering if any one could enlighten me with a problem im having with my HTC sensation Z710e, android v4.0.3, HTC sence v3.6.
I'm new to android so have no idea whats, what.
Theres no wigets or apps shortcuts in the personalize section.
when i hold my finger on the home screen, i go to Personalize screen, then i tap Widget and the next windows blank same goes for the Add App Shortcut screen theres nothing there except the title and most buttons have no function except the home button.
Am i missing something here, why is there no icons in these screens.
i have tried installing nice widget packs ect but still no widgets show up.
can any one tell me what im doing wrong here!!!.

I'm not using Sense 3.6 so it's a bit hard for me to visualise the steps you've done.
You seem to be doing the right steps. Have you tried rebooting the phone?

seems that you're expieriencing some troubles, welle i never had such issue but there are thing you have to do before flashing new roms.
when you flash a new rom, perform a superwipe before.then flash rom.
some mods can brake things in your rom so be carefull of what you flash.
and when you flash a mod or kernel ,i advice you to perform a wipe cache and dalvick before.
i run Elegancia rom sense 3.6, delicious rom, no issues, fast smooth and stable. and i always use eleganca themes mods and skins, this way i never had issue ,no broken things.

looks like some data got screwed up...
one thing you can try is ...go to settings->apps->all apps->ht sense->clear data
this might restore your widgets and all (but UI goes default)
or if this option is not at all available..then flash the same rom again..with just wiping cache + dalvik (this way you'll lose the mods..but rest of data stays intact)

Not really happy about flashing the rom as I bricked my spv m5000 when i chose wrong rom version that i had previously download but didnt check. dum a** or what

I might give your idea of (clear data) a try, but when UI goes default what does that change exactly, does that just change whats on the Home screen and will it delete shortcuts created as well and what eles!.

Guys, I am a novice here and keep reading the posts on XDA frequently but posting a query first time.
I have installed pimp my ROM on my Galaxy R and changed the screen density which made me to utilize the real estate on my screen efficiently. The standard UI never helped me so opted for GO launcher and its working like a charm now inspite of a few delays.
The problem I am facing now is with the stock Email app now. Its not utilizing the new screen size and is cramped in a portion of it.
Can someone here help me to find out a way out or a tweak to make use of it. I know there are third party applications available which may help me but I really want to stick to the default app.

I don't think it has layouts for another size and DPI, so this cannot be easily fixed.
Yes, But When you use PimpMyRom then you can save a zip file for reverting back as Update.zip.
BTW, as we always say, do have backup first while applying such changes in mobile.
