[Q] AOKP Dialer/Reverse Lookup on Stock Rom - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
I'm currently running Nexus 5 KitKat on Stock and adding some things with the help of the XPosed-Framework. The new nightly of AOKP includes reverse lookup of german phonenumbers and I'd like to have that, too.
So is there a way to use the AOKP-Dialer with the updated reverse lookup on stock roms?
Thanks!

I´m interested in that one, too.
Anyone who installed the latest AOKP Nightly who could extract the Dialer APK ?

[Q] custom rom for htc one v gsm

Hi
Not sure where to post this. Want as much exposure as i can get for a fast fix.
Basically, I have tried two custom roms:
AOKP JB rom
Paranoid Android
I would have stuck with any of these, but the AOKP rom would switch from Loudspeaker to normal during a phonecall. And the Paranoid Android has too many bugs in it that I cant run it without getting annoyed with the force closes etc.
Im now looking for either:
A FULLY WORKING CUSTOM ROM
or
AN OFFICIAL HTC ONE V STOCK ROM
hope you can point me to the right direction?
Thanks,

[Q] Custom ROMS with working BT4.0/BLE

I am getting the itch to put on a custom ROM of my GS3, but I have a Fitbit One and would like for it to continue to update over the phone. I've tried CM10.1, but it appears that there is a problem with the BT4.0 and the phone doesn't want to try to connect to the fitbit. I'm not close to a computer much currently to update the fitbit.
TL: DR- Is there a working ROM where the BT4.0/BLE is working somewhat properly?
Thanks in advance.
I'm looking for the same thing. I switched back to a Stock variant to get BT4 working and the Stock ROM is total garbage after using Cyanogen Mod. I don't want to have to choose one or the other!
There is not a single ROM out there at the moment that has Bluetooth 4.0 working. Google has not released or included a lib file for it to work. Sure our devices have the hardware but the software has no clue how to utilize it. Maybe next version of android will have it.
The 4.1.2 Omega ROM was working for me. The ROM will need to be based off of Samsung's official as it will need their hacked Bluetooth stack - they worked directly wth Fitbit to get it up and running. I've since upgraded to the Omega 4.2.2 AOKP ROM and it no longer works (which I expected).
BLE
The only ROM that i've found with working BT4/BLE is the one by beanstown.. i do confirm it working just fine for my fitbit flex.

I have a fitbit as well and I am trying to figure out what it would take to get it working with CyanogenMod. I flashed an unofficial 10.2 (4.3) and still no luck with the fitbit.
try the 4.3 version of CM in teh development section? I thought this was an added or fixed feature in teh newest version of android. not too sure though.

[Q] Supernexus Build 5

Hi My question relates to this ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...creen&page=132
Seems I am not allowed to post there, so if some one in admin can relate the question to the developer, I have his ROM installed and working nicely, I also have the CM10.1 lastest nightly build installed in a backup, have been switching between the two testing.
I have no technical issues.
I notice that in the supernexus build I cant edit the lock screen, and there seems to be other options missing which I thought were part of the stock Android 4.2.2 and not just special to the CM10.1. Question to the developer is what am I missing?
Using SGS3 International i9300
Thanks.

KitKat dialer on custom ROMs?

I'm on a Galaxy Nexus and love my stock Android, but I'm looking at upgrading to the G2. I want to install a custom ROM on it like PA or CM, but I've never done that and don't have much knowledge as to what works on custom ROMs. I know that Google is moving more things closed-source, so I'm wondering when the 4.4 custom ROMs come out, will they have the new 4.4 dialer with Google search built in? Or will it just be the regular dialer like on my gnex with 4.3?
Thanks!
you will have kitkat dialer and everything what you see in kitkat, but the hotword option (ok google) only in a few roms

[Q] Stock ROM: Edit or Create Shortcuts?

I'm waiting for the Cyanogenmod crew to release the first CM11 stable for the Nexus5 so until then I will be sticking with Google's stock rom. I searched the play store and did not find any of the shortcut apps that were compatible with 4.4 yet so I turned to my trusted XDA folks for help.
Any insight on a way I can either edit or create shortcuts with stock 4.4 on my Nexus 5 will be greatly appreciated!
