Android L Keyboard - New material design white theme? - Android General

Hi XDA,
I was browsing around the Play Store and was updating Chrome beta. As we all know, this has material design features. I noticed that the regular chrome app had also been updated to include material design. As I was browsing through the screen shots of the app, I noticed a differently themed Android L keyboard (picture attached).
I couldn't find any other post or mention of this other theme for the keyboard. I think it looks better and would like to see it included in Android L. What do you think?

MIUI Style Launcher Localized And Compatible With All Devices.
If you’re anything like me, you can’t get enough of MIUI. It’s polished good looks and big bright icons are impossible to get out of your head (like that hot cashier at Walmart). Only problem is, the ROM is only available on a rooted devices. Since I have yet to take that plunge, I’ve resorted to other methods. Take this this beautifully styled MIUI homescreen replacement on XDA for instance. After finding this Chinese MIUI launcher in the Market called Tencent Desktop (from the developers of QQLauncher), XDA user Quinny899 set to localizing the app for all us westerners.
In what will no doubt be a make-or-break for most, just like the MIUI ROM, gone is the familiar Android app drawer you’ve come to know and love. But that’s exactly what gives this launcher a true MIUI experience. You’ll find all of the MIUI styled app icons, dock and folders and even a handy themeing engine. If you’re wondering how to get the transparent notification bar, well that’s for the more experienced rooted users.

Nice. Been wanting to try the ROM but my uptime has been rock solid so don't want to reboot.
This seems to be the updated version.

This launcher looks awesome! But the lack of an app drawer doesn't do it for me. Can't have pages and pages of apps, just doesn't feel right.
If they combine the look of this with the functionality of Go Launcher EX then we'll defo be onto the best launcher ever.
It is nice.

MIUI Ultimate iPhone Theme 7.0 Keyboard Problem

Hey, I didn't find any threads about this so hopefully this is alright to post.
I downloaded the Ultimate iPhone Theme (v7.0) for MIUI and the themed iPhone keyboard is not appearing. Instead, the default MIUI keyboard is the one that shows up. Any Ideas on how to make the iPhone themed keyboard appear?
Also, after downloading the theme, I updated the Marketplace app to the Google Play app, and now my Google Play app icon is not being displayed as the Apple App Store icon. Any idea on how to change a specific app icon to one of the Apple themed icons?
Here are the details of my phone:
Motorola Triumph (Android version: 2.3.7; MIUI build: 1.11.4)
I know many people on this forum are highly opposed to anything Apple, but any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!
download the keyboard from market some sure will help u about ur icon

[Q] iPhone Emoji style

Hi,
Is there a way to change the emojistyle (☺????) from google's design to iPhone's emoji design.
I know they are exactly the same in general but i prefer the iPhonestyle over the google emojis.

[Q] Question about Android L Calendar app

I am really digging the new L theme which Google has in their calendar app.So when Google releases Android L will they update their calendar app so that it has Material Design on KitKat phones or will the look be exclusive to L?.Thanks in advance for helping
Well you can get the Android L G+ on KitKat, as well as Chrome Beta Material. Then I'm sure Google apps will be updated with the material ui. The only thing that will be allot different in Android L will be the transitions and animations. The shadows, action bars, the coloured status bar and more.
But then again, we have to wait and see.

[APP][4.2+] Android L Launcher

well here is a small port of the android L launcher to 4.2 +
will soon be implementing it into my custom launcher, hence thought i should post the raw version here
Enjoy people
p.s it has my custom signature on it at the moment, so i doubt it will replace the previous launcher, so you should remove that first

Looks cool
Awesome!!!
google is so confusing.
I thought they stopped developing the launcher (Launcher3) open source and and only have google now (former google experience) launcher?
So does this mean Launcher3 is still in AOSP source after all, with material design??
would be happy if someone could clear this up...
Will you make for 4.1 ?
