well here is a small port of the android L launcher to 4.2 +
will soon be implementing it into my custom launcher, hence thought i should post the raw version here
Enjoy people
p.s it has my custom signature on it at the moment, so i doubt it will replace the previous launcher, so you should remove that first

Looks cool
Awesome!!!
google is so confusing.
I thought they stopped developing the launcher (Launcher3) open source and and only have google now (former google experience) launcher?
So does this mean Launcher3 is still in AOSP source after all, with material design??
would be happy if someone could clear this up...
Will you make for 4.1 ?

Hi to all you guys.
Im not fun at all of TouchWiz Launcher but since now all other lunchers don't working properly on GN cause our screen resolution (more or less luggy).
So, can any of our themer mod TouchWiz Launcher like this one to fit in our bases?
In my personal taste its way better than stock.
Thank u all.
Ilias.
Hey guys, I have done a lot of googling but can't seem to find a solution. I'm running Paranoid Android 3.60, so I can have an AOSP android 4.2.2 rom while keeping the 4.1 tablet UI. Only problem is the stock launcher and trebuchet even with the DPI and size played with still have a dock on the bottom like the phablet UI. Apex launcher has an option to use Tablet UI so i get what I want, but Apex doesn't have the play store icon in the corner of the app drawer like stock launchers do. I know this is being really picky, but I really want a stock launcher with the 4.1 Tablet UI. How can I achieve this? Is there somewhere I can download the 4.1 Tablet UI launcher for android 4.2.2 or something?
Thanks in advance for any replies!

I am really digging the new L theme which Google has in their calendar app.So when Google releases Android L will they update their calendar app so that it has Material Design on KitKat phones or will the look be exclusive to L?.Thanks in advance for helping
Well you can get the Android L G+ on KitKat, as well as Chrome Beta Material. Then I'm sure Google apps will be updated with the material ui. The only thing that will be allot different in Android L will be the transitions and animations. The shadows, action bars, the coloured status bar and more.
But then again, we have to wait and see.

Im new to xda and i just wanted to share something i found about android wear.
i was installing various android launchers on my LG G watch with no luck (when i selected them they said they quit unexpectedly)
i tried zeam launcher, ADW launcher, holo launcher, go launcher and the stock motoactv launcher (i did try all of these on my motoactv to test if they work on a small screen and on my phone to test if they support lollipop and they worked)
then i found a launcher called barebone launcher and it worked however because it JUST launches apps (no widgets, no custom wallpapers) that's why it doesn't crash.
video - watch?v=4g2PqDTeglw (paste in URL bar after YouTube because im not allowed to share links yet or search lg g watch with barebone launcher on youtube)
Sorry if this post is in the wrong place i just wanted to share a working normal android launcher on android wear
Cool

Well, this just provides me a good headstart with my just received LG G Watch. Should try on the barebone launcher as mentioned.
I tried a few alternate launchers and found it drains my battery pretty quick since they run constantly. I ended up just getting used to the stock launcher.
If you install purifiy (via adb) it kills background apps automatically saving the battery (you need to go into purifiys settings and add 3rd party watch faces to the ignore list
