I was using flipboard and came across gigazine. I clicked on the link: http://gifdanceparty.giphy.com/
I got a message saying "This web page is too dynamic for your mobile device." What is that?
The URL was changed to gifdanceparty.giphy.com/nomobile.html
I think the original flipboard page is:
http://gigazine.net/news/20140907-gif-dance-party/
I clicked on the youtube link. The video also could not be played.
Oh god.... That page is too dynamic for any device. Which 4 year old designed that? Owww, my eyes...
Dynamic design means the page automatically detects your screen resolution (page display res, not native res) and adapts the design accordingly.
This website is so poorly designed that any decent device can not display this at all. Blame the website builder, it's not the device's fault.
Good to hear that. Thanks.

Came across an interesting portal that like the name indicates squeezes and formats every website for your PDA and mobile phone screen. Just browse to it and enter your destination site:
www.skweezer.com
More info from the developer: http://www.greenlightwireless.net/skweezer/
Enjoy!
Yup, Skweezer is great.
I also recommend my articles written on it and the alternatives (there're, in some respects, even better and superior alternatives; for example, Toonel); please see my previous articles (search for the word 'Skweezer' to find them).
[APP] Make Readable Later - Adds "Share Via" functionality for Readability app
This functionality was missing from the Readability app for Android, so I made this free app using the Readability API for easy adding of websites to Readability.
Make Readable Later is a simple app that allows you to add websites to your Readability bookmark queue for reading later. The app authorizes with the Readability service and then provides a Share option in the Browser, Chrome for Android, and other news/RSS apps that implement the share function. This is not a fully-featured Readability client, only a simple app that provides the missing Share functionality for the official Readability app.

Why don't people just use http://readitlaterlist.com/?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ideashower.readitlater.free
Or is that completely different?
that is a competing service. I like how readability cleans up the article better. your choice though
I, too, prefer the way Readability (especially the standard browser-based version) parses & displays articles. It's a shame that the developers missed out on an opportunity to take advantage of the Android platform's strengths. The app doesn't seem to otherwise have been rushed out the door, so it's almost alarming to me that such an obvious omission could have been made, especially given the amount of polish otherwise present in the app.
I don't think I have enough posts to enable the "Thanks" button, so...
Thanks!
(Edit: Whoops, there it is... Did this being my first post enable it or did I, like a jerk, actually miss the huge button at the bottom of the post? Oh, well, lol...)

I've been using ReadItLater for years and can tell one good reason to use Readability service is that it handles almost any article, while ReadItLater more often will say that it's not an article, but just your imagination
Why is this not an article?
by the way, I believe official Readability app does have Share page function. I can see it in browser's menu right now. Or am I missing something?
Thanks so much for this man, it works perfectly! I was looking for this for a while

EN/RU translations are available.
Hi all. I am posting here first time (as developer). So here is my app. Take a look if interested. You can leave feedbacks, suggest changes.
Also I need translators.
This version is made during my vacation. Before that, versions 1.x were very laggy. I hope, that this version contains less errors.
I am actually just junior java developer in one of Armenian IT companies and Android development is just hobby. I have made English and Russian translations by myself, so they can be not very correct.

When using Android device, there are some repetitive and boring actions.
You tried some "auto click" app and found some problems.
* There is timing issue. You always put more margin for next click.
* Hard to share it with your friends just because you have different devices.
* The biggest limitation is that the app isn't smart. Why can the app see the screen and take action accordingly.
Now the solution is here. AnkuLua solves all the problems.
AnkuLua can see the screen and detect if the specified image appears. Then it can take actions accordingly, such as tap on the image, tap on other image, send text ....
Because AnkuLua can see the screen, the response is quick. No more time margin is needed.
AnkuLua knows the sizes of the two devices. One is the device that the image captured from. And the other is the one that the script is running on. Therefore, one script for all devices is possible. Sharing between friends is no more problem.
Give AnkuLua a try and you will love it.
