Dear People,

Look for cerberus. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lsdroid.cerberus If you root, can make it system app so factory reset will not remove it.

Good to know

Thank you very much!

Do you maybe know a similar way for a windows tablet ?

Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) Random FREEZE

hi guys.
first of all im very happy with this phone, extremely fluid near the stock android experience.
but i would like to know if im not the only one with this "little problem".
sometimes while using the phone (it happened only 3 times), i remember while im downloading an app, like a game (2 gb for example), sometimes it stuck, the phone become unresponsive, connection (wifi) turns off, the speaker makes a strange sound (like buzz), and then after a bunch of seconds the phone return back, wifi reconnet, and the app (game or other) starts download.
anyone with this?
hope i helped to identify the problem.

Do you see anything about komoot on your gear s2 store? Maybe i can't see it because i don't use a samsung phone?
TIA,
Tom

Filesmaster let You upload any file to the smartwatch, but unfortunately as far as I checked You cannot install app with it.
You can try with Debug mode in Settings and using sdb commands over WiFi.
file manager

I have borrowed samsung Note 2 from my sister for a while to install a few paid apps. I installed Filesmaster too to manage my media files. I copied
a movie from phone to watch on my S2 in the tube. Very useful app, though expensive - $3. However, this app can manage files, transfer between phone and play.
But as soon you change your phone to non Samsung what happen? In my mind ypu have to reset the watch and all apps are gone...
how to get an how to install..
did anybody find out if the komoot app can be installed on a non Samsung device? in the settings of the g2 is the option to install apps from other sources than Samsung Apps. Does anybody know for to get the komoot file and how to install it on watch?.. I assume there is a way for that.
I contacted the Samsung support how to get all apps also on Non-samsung Devices. I will let you know if they respond.
Michael
Update:
The Samsung support was fast. They say that the app is currently not available and they are working on it. They did not answer if it is available on Samsung Smartphones.
I also just worte the Komoot team if they know more abour that issue.
I will keep you posted.
Michael
So I connected my watch to a Samsung S6 of a friend today and found komoot in the gear store. That sucks. I give up on this topic for now.
Good news everyone!
Komoot wrote, in 1-2 weeks from today the app will be available for all phones. I'm happy now!

Looks like it is still not available for non-Samsung phones

Open Magnet-Lock with Smartphone

I just want to ask if it is possible to open a magnetic lock with the smartphone. To open the lock you have to press a Button on a chip (just like a car key). I think something like a RFID. So i just want to ask if it is possible to hijack the signal of the chip and unlock the door with my smartphone, and if yes: HOW.
Ps: this is NOT for illegal purpose. It's just some sort of project. I want to test if the locks are secure or not.

I am sure there is a way if you could find the frequency they use. Mind you this wont be easy and is only intended for educational purposes. You could look at it like hijacking any signal like that be it NFC or any other wireless signal.
Ill be honest. Any lock that works by software is not gonna be completely secure. That is just the way of software. Any protection is only as good as the hacker trying to bypass it.
The question is how to hijack the signal, find out the frequency and open the lock. I know it can be done (it is nothing other then the car key hack), but not how.

But at this point I am thinking deeply about an issue regarding change the brand,
As we all know we can backup our apps data in our device or in Hi suit on computer and can restore after changing on a new Huawei device from our old Huawei phone or by Hisuit from computer, but i m gonna change the brand now, as i think it can't be restore on other Brand's device, i have some important app data which I don't want to loose at any cost because its about hard working achievements behind on it and in case of changing brand i will loose all these things,
Have Anyone a way out to backup app data on computer using some software and restore on any Android device???

You can root your phone and use Titanium Backup. Or if it's a game you're talking about, just connect your game to Google Play Games to save data.

Thank u so much for your kind reply and suggestions, at least anyone replied here and trying to resolving my issue after 3 days waiting
My friend its about "Subway surfers"
I achived more then 12 million coins, 400 keys and 750 Hoverboards etc.. but unfortunately its not server based game which can connect with Google play games so only way out to save my all data is to backup and restore which can easily i manage if i get new Huawei device, but i am going to change my brand now
Rooting will be cause of warranty cancellation of my phone, and selling value will decrease without warranty also
Anyway thanks again for ur effort..

Oh. So maybe you can try this app. You can use it to backup and sync your apps across devices even without root. I haven't tried it yet though so I can't confirm.

Issue with using Endomondo running app and GPS on Mi Mix 3

Hi Guys,
I have a really annoying issue while using my running app Endomondo. If i start running, i normally gets every kilometer an anouncment of the time per km and in total. Since I use my Mix 3 the announcment are pretty inaccurate! For example yesterday I run 8km, the app told me at the end it was just ~6km...don't know what is wrong. Any idea to solve the problem!?
Thanks!

How accurate is it when you review the run on the map? Is it tracking the actual path or is it hopping all over and cutting corners?

He is cutting corners, and when the GPS comesback the line is more a bee line....it seems that the mix 3 is lossing the signal!

Yes GPS issues for sure on this phone. Annoying especially for a phone that is supposed to have good GPS.

Any chance to fix the issue? With this issue it makes no sense to use the phone for running

Phone is not rooted. Tryed Endomondo for a run a few minutes ago, and what should I say, all was good with the tracking, same distance like my Galaxy S7 edge. I have changed battery savings restrictions to no restrictions and I have updated this evening to global 10.2.1.0 so don't know if the solution is because of the change in the battery settings or because of the update to the latest Miui!
