So, this will turn on Assist if it's plugged into AC? Do you have plans for Tasker integration?
Guess I gotta get Root now.......somehow.

I haven't had a chance yet to try this...will try sometime this weekend...is there any thoughts to also having this turn on when headphones are plugged in?
Thanks for making this!
Very cool!
I was just telling my co-worker (we work for ATT & both have Moto Xs) that this is exactly what someone will make soon ... and BAM here it is!
Works great thank you!

This app is great! One thing though if you could look into it please, with screen rotation locked it still rotates the screen and then I'd get a black screen with my clock widget in the left or right middle of the screen. I'll try to take a screen shot of it when I can recreate it.

OK over that past few days my battery rarely last a few days. Here is my nexus battery stats. Its states my screen has been on for 1m when I have had it on for about 20mins. Also battery drops by the second. Please help. I then tried to charge the charging icon came on but it didn't charge. Left it plugged in for 30mins. Any suggestions?

Well, does it charge while you have connected it to a Wall(AC) charger? Does the Battery indicate that it's charging??
Yes it does indicate. But the percentage did not move. This happened yesterday as well so I drained it then charged fine as normal. Any advice.
Thanks

No clue m8.. It's surely weird. You could try to flash factory images and see whether it fixes or not... Follow this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-factory-image-t2513701
Wait for a while and see whether someone else comes up with a solution.. If not, follow the above thread..

So it indicates that it's charging but the percentage doesn't go up.. that's what you're saying, right?
Try a different wall charger or try charging it via a computer/laptop and see if it charges? May be a faulty charger?

If you aren't using your phone regularly then Android OS/SystemUI/phone idle will always be at the top of the list!
Since you're rooted, install BetterBatteryStats or Wakelock Detector and see which apps are preventing your device from sleeping... Also, Install greenify and hibernate all apps except the ones which you would like to get notifications from like whatsapp...

Seems normal... Even I have the same... You can't make out by looking at it... You need apps Like Wakelock Detector : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector
Follow these steps:
1. Open Wakelock Detector settings and put a tick on "Statistics Since unplug"
2. Charge your device for sometime.
3. As soon as you remove the device from charge, turn off the screen and don't use it for few hours.
After few hours, Turn on the screen and open wakelock detector and check "Wakeup Triggers", "Kernel Wakelock" and "CPU Wakelock" and see what's preventing the device from sleeping...
Now once you Greenify those applications, you ought to have a good battery life!

first off, it being your first post, ill be nice. questions/help/troubleshooting does not go in general, it goes in the q&a/help/troubleshooting section. secondly, you should have searched xda before posting another thread, as we already have many threads about this. here is one that we have been using mainly, for this issue http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/help/normal-google-play-services-to-drain-20-t2519831

if you disabled those that are shown in a screenshot, did you reboot first? if not, try again. then let the phone sit there for like 10 minutes, then check.
btw, i do agree with you about some of the meanness that goes on in xda. im not like that, i enjoy helping people too much. and the nexus 5 forums here also, it isnt as bad like the rest of xda. there are many here like me, that actually keep an eye on the forums, to make sure that meanness doesnt go on

I would like my phone to function like it should yes lol. I tried to reboot after disabling the ones with location and rebooted and waiting 10 minutes but Google play services time awake is still rising and has been awake for pretty much the whole batter cycle. Could greenify be causing such issues?

Hi all,
Because my android system etc were using alot % of my usage (more than my SOT), I used betterbatterystats to look into it.
Now I ran it a full day, but to be honest I don't understand a thing from this app.

I meant literally the section that is titled "other". You've shown it in one of those screenshots. You have the device awake for about an hour longer than the screen was actually on. Do you use Greenify to.stop apps from running in the background when you're not using them? Are you turning off non-essential services (GPS etc) when not in use?
Transmitted via Bacon
I don't use greenify.
Gps, nfc and bluetooth are always off (unless i use them).
I use lux for auto brightness.
My performance profile is always on balanced.
Those last screens were frome when i woke up.
So the phone was indeed longer in usethan my wake up time.
I saw before i went to sleep, that my wakeup time was 1hour and 20mins more than my screen on time

It's probably worth looking into using Greenify, and auto-brightness is usually a battery killer.

Here is how to fix this. Go into applications and open up the application information for S Health. Uninstall the update. I also cleared the data for the app (not sure if this mattered, but it didnt hurt).
Once you have done these steps, open the downgraded S Health app. Go through the setup for the app. Once you are in the app after setup, you can then upgrade through the Play store, and the app will continue working fine.
Hope that helps.
Thats correct. .
When i did the boosts it caused speaker to distort and cut out on higher levels. Wasnt gonna release a audio boost due to this.. seems the n5 speaker dosnt like the boosts
Love the additional 4 toggles especially the Mobile Data which I am surprised is not part of stock. I do also appreciate the Hotspot and Multi-Window mods.
