[Q] Displaying phone numbers - HTC One E8

Hi folks,
am having trouble displaying my 2 sim phone numbers. I have been to the 'settings - about phone' section but says 'unknown' where sim 1 and sim 2 are listed.
I have them both labelled so I know which is which but since I can't remember the phone number of sim 2 by heart. I would like to find it.
Any idea why this is happening and any way I can get it to recognize and display the numbers in this section?
Many thanks in advance

[Q] Windows Phone 7 Carrier Name

Good day to you guys,
I have an HTC HD7 running Mango.
I just switched carriers recently, and noticed that my new carrier appears as 42604 on my phone. This actually made me scratch my head.
When I checked the issue, it appears that Windows Phone takes the carrier broadcast name, rather than obtaining it through the SIM card.
And in order to verify that this is an OS specific bug, I put my SIM card in my HTC Touch Cruise runnnig WM6.5, and the carrier name appeared correctly (Resolved through the SIM card I guess)
I'm not sure if this is a known bug or has been discussed. But couldn't find an answer to this question anywhere.
Regards,
Xeno

[Resolved] [Q] Is there a way to bypass simcard check on 4g lte android phone?

Is there any way to bypass simcard check on a a samsung admire 4g and use the cdma service only?
I have a samsung r820 that i bought second hand. The carrier is metro pcs. I don't have the micro sim that appears to have origianally come with the phone. I already unlocked the device to use with another carrier and flashed a new prl. the device didn't get service because the sim was missing so i installed an app named "switchit 4g lte toggle" from the market which allowed me to turn the the radio on. I have service now but i cant make any calls because a pop up window keeps appearing "insert Metro PCS SIM Emergency calls only" whenever I attempt to make a call. Is there any method to stop it from doing a sim card check or for it to think there is a sim card in it?
I already asked this question in the noob friendly section but i didn't get a response.
Update:
I bypassed sim check by glitching the phone. I used anycut to create a short cut to the activity labelled Attention. then I launch the shortcut and quickly slide the notification area downwards. it takes a few tries. the only inconvenience is something like a debug widget that stays on top of the homescreen. I now have service and the insert sim is off. hope this helps anyone that has the same problem.

[Q] Sim unlocking Galaxy S3 with missing network lock menu

Hi there, Im probably going to get a lot of replies telling me how easy this is but im stuck, so my friend brought over a 16gb Samsung galaxy s3 from America to New Zealand, where I currently am, the model number of the phone is SCH-I535 if that changes anything but okay when I put a 2degrees sim card in it (my current network provider) it doesnt work. Ive been told and attempted the service menu unlock method but putting in the code *#197328640# nothing happens but I was able to access the service menu by putting in the code *#0011# and that method worked but I was only able to get as far as clicking network lock option, when I click that it just comes up with a blank screen. Are there any other methods to sim unlock? Dont care how extensive it is or if it requires rooting and a computer just want to be able to use this phone with my sim and current network. Or if anyone has the fix to the blank screen after clicking network lock then thats great too. Please help, ive been trying to do this for so long now and just want this phone to work.
Thanks!

IEMI "Not Available"?

So I got a refurbed LG Urbane 2nd Edition (W200V) Verizon version. It didn't come with a SIM card. When I went to Verizon to get the watch activated on my account, they needed the IEMI. I checked in Settings / Cellular / SIM Status, and it has all cellular settings as "Not Available."
Do I need a SIM for these to become available? Or is there something wrong with the watch?

Both the serial number (S/N), and the ESN/EIMI will be etched on the back of the watch. You'll see these along the edge of the removable facing (the one you remove in order to access the sim card.)
The S/N will be 14 characters long and will be alpha-numeric. The ESN/EIMI will be 15 characters long and is ONLY numeric.
I actually figured that out, but also found out that this information is only visible in the watch when there is a sim in place. Like it disables the cellular comm chip until the sim is located.
But thank you. Maybe this will help someone else.

Question SM-A536U1/DS Dual Sim tray, but only one IMEI, no Dual Sim capability

Hello,
I purchased that phone off eBay since it was listed as Dual sim, the sim tray support Sim+Sim/SD Card, but only has 1 IMEI, so inserting a sim card in the second sim slot, do nothing. I read that dual sim will be enabled with software update, but I updated software to September 1 security patch level, but nothing has changed.
Service provider software version is: SAOMC_SM-A536U1_OYM_XAA_12_0009 XAA/XAA/XAA
Maybe your card faces the wrong direction ? Contacts have to show to the outside.
Check in the settings menu 'connections->sim-card administration' if there is a (greyed out) second sim slot available and look at 'phone info->status information->IMEI-info' if there is a second slot entry with corresponding number just to be sure that there isn't a software issue.

No. There is no sim card manager settings. Sim card is inserted correctly, only one IMEI, so that's why 2nd SIM is not working
Expected that all sm-a536 devices support dual-sim. Maybe it's a restriction from your carrier or firmware since you still got the Sim+SD/Sim2 slot. Seems the us variants are a bit cut short with no unlockable bootloader ec..
Helloo!! Any progress on this? IF I install another version like the EU one, would I see the dual sim options? I can be believe the phone is hardware capable but the firmware blocks it
Hi every one !
Anyone has an idea of how to unlock the dualsim capability ? Maybe by flashing a different region/country firmware ?
Thanks !
I just checked for a software update and I got the Android 13 and UI 5 update (near 2GBs) and the dual sim capability was enabled with this update. A second IMEI appears and the 2 sim cards got both signal.
Before installing the update, I took out the SD card and placed a 2nd SIM. Don't know if that had something to do with the dual sim capability enabling.
The Dual Sim Capability is not the same as with other Samsungs. You have no option to set a SIM card as default for calls and text or always ask before making a call, and the other one as default for DATA, only as primary, and the primary is the default for everything. But with the Google phone APP I was able to set the SIM Settings to either one or always ask.
It doesn't have a separate Network Mode for secondary SIM either.

Glad I'm not alone in this. It's like pulling teeth with people convincing them there's an unlocked dual-sim us version sm-a536u1 (sm-a536uzkdxaa). Obviously Samsung is little help in this. I've removed the actual IMEI numbers for obvious reasons.
