Well guys as we all know nowadays there are several apps that can perform the basic tasks required for Android Development without breaking a sweat. But as you all may know ROM managers refuse to work as Sony Xperia L is not officially supported by Clockworkmod recovery(Actually TWRP also). Although it works through flashing a kernel with CWM or TWRP integrated solves the problem. But this type of recoveries have a major drawback it is that every time (if) a higher or newer version of Android is installed like new AOSP ROM there is incompatibility of the kernel with new Android Version or basically the Firmware.(obviously)
Ok so here's it I request Sony Xperia L developers to please try to make a independent recovery , which does not require any kernel flashing before.
And its my humble request ( fully understanding developer's hardwork ) but this needs too be done. Because for now we aren't getting official versions of them by any means.
I request every Sony Xperia L developer to do this for their own and new developer's convenience.
There's no pressure though , do this by own free will.
Anybody Ready??? please leave your thoughts on it down here

Well, you should read before post. They have tried already making CWM for locked bootloader and it wasn't working.
There was glitches. Don't get what is your problem. We have does things for XL, it doesn't mean we don't have them because you have to flash kernel in order to make them work.
I fully understand .... but

But then sometimes if kernel has to be loaded standalone, then a recovery is better option, I know it's secondary thing but you this contribution will make future development a bit user friendly for Xperia devices as we are fully dependent on Flashtool, and having a emergency secondary way is really useful sometimes.
And yup I just put on my idea if u agree. Please contribute.
Thank You .
This is impossible for any new Xperia device because they don't have recovery partition. You should research before posting anything. Reporting now.

Look at the list, no single Sony device is officially supported. This has nothing to do with the Xperia L.

Now I know that Sony Xperia Devices don't have recovery partition. So that's why no support from ROM Manager.
By the way I was being specific about Xperia L only because I wanted it for our Xperia L only . As it is in Sony Xperia L section.
anyways thanks for info.
Hi ,
I want to know where is the xperia m2 AOSP project by sony now .
Can someone tell me how it goes ?
Thank you all .
In what kind of way? I don't understand the question.
I replied before, but, there's nothing about your question (I recently noted xD). If you can explain it, you'll be answered.
It doesn't hurt to use google search engine

PERFORMA V5 FOR TIPO DUAL!!
I was looking recently for some New ROMs for Xperia Tipo Dual, but since I didn't find much, I thought of importing one!
So this ROM is PERFORMA V5 for Xperia tipo, all what I did is importing it as it is (with some necessary changes to make it work for tipo dual of course!)
So, and without any late, Here's The screenshots (Tipo Dual): (see attachments)
ROM Specifications:
-same as PERFORMA V5 For tipo, refer to the thread to know more about ROM Fea-tures
-Unlike Performa V5, this ROM has FULL language Support! (all languages are included, no need to worry about anything!)
-Costomizable SystemUI from settings
-Default/ invert memories select option
-Blazing faaaaast!

few notes
the slide lock screen has a "graphical bug" at the bottom
news and weather from google not needed
is there any way to turn off the invisibility for max performance? :silly:
EDIT:the mass storage option from the quickpanel does not work, when i connect it to pc with that option it shows nothing
will also search for these at the original rom
EDIT2:Can u give any guide u used or info on what u changed to make it compatible with our tipo dual?
reading few guides now but i dont think they do for our tipo to tipo dual port , ty

mmmmm, ok
the lock screen seems to work on Xperia Tipo single only (don't know why till now )
news & weather app is included in the original ROM, I didn't pay attention for that, sorry
-for the Xperia tipo dual import, I'm thinking of making a guide, because importing a tipo single ROM to tipo dual needs some logic, Build.prop & systemUI for tipo dual, and some framework changes
I've imported 3 Xperia tipo single ROMs for tipo dual till now, but I've posted this one only (will post more soon :good
and yes, some features for tipo single might not work for tipo dual because of the framework (Xperia tipo & tipo dual are having some differences in framework) and that's the main cause for too many mods not working on tipo dual
I hope we will find a solution
Sony Mobile is committed to supporting the open developer community, and one way to show this is by publishing parts of our code as well as selected tools developed by our internal developers.
For some of the Xperia™ devices, we provide Android™ Open Source Project (AOSP) device configurations on GitHub. This means that the software will be open for you as a developer to use and contribute to. This is a way for us to support the open Android community, and it is also a tool for us to facilitate and verify contributions to AOSP.

I don't know how to cook roms myself. I'm waiting for some dev that know cooking stuff to make the ROM based on Marshmallow.
It's a little weard tbh as there are new 5.1 roms all over the place, but no new topic's with 6.0.
The only ROM that I can find is the AOSP from FXP Group, but it's old (19th October) with bugs etc.
I don't know why they suspend the work on it.
We have official source from Sony to build 6.0 AOSP rom, + now the aosp camera possibilty and could even maybe import the theme engine, launcher from Sony Marshmallow Concept from Z3.
I know that it can be a lot, and its only my toughts as I don't know how exacly build this stuff up, and I just keep my finger cross that someone will grab hands on it and build some nice looking rom for our Z1 Compact.

I know that @erikcas is working on it, (mentioned in his Omni thread), and there is or was a build out there for Z1c - http://fxpblog.co/aosp/aosp-6-0/ - which I flashed and got bootloop. Besides that, someone else started a thread which was closed. I don't know the details, but it seems like they weren''t being totally kosher, (it's still viewable somewhere in the forum). I'm sure we'll be seeing something more from FXP before too long...

Hello, you don't have to get account to use Emma, follow instructions from Sony here http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/how-to-download-and-install-the-flash-tool/ you probably skipped this part - Copy the Customization.ini file. You find it in the Flash_tool_for_Xperia_X.zip.
I can see there is no openbootloader for amami
Edit:
figured it out, its just need to flash ta update aka new s1 boot config.

Nothing special... just download flash tool from Sony site and folow instructions... download complete, flastool installed, simple start emma and connect your device in bootloader mode, til after you connect device in bootloader mode emma window will display few things on the right menu, install TA update and you are done with enabled recovery option (called openbootloader).
