Lack of onboard development tools for Xperia L

​Well guys as we all know nowadays there are several apps that can perform the basic tasks required for Android Development without breaking a sweat. But as you all may know ROM managers refuse to work as Sony Xperia L is not officially supported by Clockworkmod recovery(Actually TWRP also). Although it works through flashing a kernel with CWM or TWRP integrated solves the problem. But this type of recoveries have a major drawback it is that every time (if) a higher or newer version of Android is installed like new AOSP ROM there is incompatibility of the kernel with new Android Version or basically the Firmware.(obviously)
Ok so here's it I request Sony Xperia L developers to please try to make a independent recovery , which does not require any kernel flashing before.
And its my humble request ( fully understanding developer's hardwork ) but this needs too be done. Because for now we aren't getting official versions of them by any means.
I request every Sony Xperia L developer to do this for their own and new developer's convenience.
There's no pressure though , do this by own free will.
Anybody Ready??? please leave your thoughts on it down here

Well, you should read before post. They have tried already making CWM for locked bootloader and it wasn't working.
There was glitches. Don't get what is your problem. We have does things for XL, it doesn't mean we don't have them because you have to flash kernel in order to make them work.

But then sometimes if kernel has to be loaded standalone, then a recovery is better option, I know it's secondary thing but you this contribution will make future development a bit user friendly for Xperia devices as we are fully dependent on Flashtool, and having a emergency secondary way is really useful sometimes.
And yup I just put on my idea if u agree. Please contribute.

This is impossible for any new Xperia device because they don't have recovery partition. You should research before posting anything. Reporting now.

Now I know that Sony Xperia Devices don't have recovery partition. So that's why no support from ROM Manager.
By the way I was being specific about Xperia L only because I wanted it for our Xperia L only . As it is in Sony Xperia L section.

I just flashed to the latest CM10 on my xperia E and it had a boring look, I wanted something else. And I found this to theme the CM10 but it only work as a HDPi resolution, so I went searching for a solution. With some goodluck I found a MOD for that to let the theme work, without any errors. The first time you may get 'system.ui has stopped working' , just reboot and everything will be fine. Than I went searching for a mod of the statusbar, because I wanted it just like the Kitkat 4.4 styl with toggles just to make it different haha! And I had some luck with it, so I did find one. I will explain below how you can let it work if you like it! Just remember what you download here, is not MINE!!!! so give the credits to the owners, I wıll post the official threads also, so you can visit them.:good: I thanx this developers and modders they let my xperia e live again!:victory:
1. first of all you need a rooted phone with recovery-mode, so that you can flash the zip files.
2. Now you can download the miui theme here below, its just a .apk file so not a problem to instal. And put it on your SD-card.
MIUI THEME :

- Than instal the apk, dont try to set the theme because you will just get a error.
3.Now download the MOD for resolution to upgrade to HDPI, you will need to flash this from recovery.

- Reboot and Now you can set the theme from 'Settings', 'Interface', 'Themes' and choose the theme.
When that is done and you also want the kitkat statusbar, just follow below and it will be all good :good:

This should working on D2303, D2305 and D2306.
If you want to test it, you should do a backup before installing, because we testing this rom only on D2303.

@zodex, i have error. When i turn on my phone, writes "system ui has stopped, and immediately after "com.andorid.phone has stopped" How to fix that?

I dont know about 2305 but on my 2303 it works amazingly well (except the camera of course). I have tried omnirom and cm but i think i'll stay with this one.
occasionally i get a msg that the 'phone' process stopped and also once after reboot (i guess it will get fixed with the next version).
during standby i get a flat line for the battery and thats with using the 'performance' cpu governor! (i'm using greenify, too).
all in all, a great rom! (i'll say again - for my 2303)

It is prerooted. You need unlocked bootloader (as is mine) and a custom recovery. This rom has cwm, i had twrp from omni but i installed boot.img from this rom's zip, just in case. The rest is classic: wipe, install, enjoy

Hello, i can confirm the rom works great on C2305 but you don't get any signal and you be able to serc for any networks.
Which kindda defeats the purpose of it as it a phone -,-.
But the rest is very good UI statusbar. The bootanimation is great overall a very good ROM.

In the original topic, an user said he fixed the camera with a different camera apk. Which one?? Does it work?? Because this is the only thing i hate about this ROM, thr rest of it i love it.
PD: i recomend you ideal theme X, its amazing!! Im using it.

Sensors
Do sensors like proximity sensor and accelerometer work properly?

So there is no bugs now ? Camera and the signal works ?Sensors too ? The thread is a big mess,i can't understand what's working - what's not...

Camera doesnt worked for me. Mobile data and the rest works excepting system.ui which stops sometimes. ROM is a bit unestable, but its usable as a daily rom. If you want camera, go to stock or use omni. But in omni mobile data works more or less.

Hey man, you ROM looks wonderful but I don't know went wrong when I was trying to install it using my Xperia C. I was in @iSiddharth 's Xperia 5.0 Lollipop ROM at the moment I tried to flash your Pure Xperia ROM. The setup via flashing is quiet odd for me as I have to click next via touchscreen and its really just new for me. After the installation success, rebooted my phone and boom, red logo back again BUT this time it's auto reconnecting to my PC with the reconnecting disconnecting sound of the usb.
I really hope you find a way to help me with this, @Abhinandan Trilokia, Thanks !

After flashing rom you have to flash patch for other mt6589 also (please Follow all instruction )

Sad to say I broke my Xperia C already (Sony said its the motherboard) and I'd say it has something to do with your ROM but the patches and instruction weren't really that clear. I don't know why I tried your ROM anyway, instructions and presentation on Youtube seemed sketchy. Now I have no phone to use atm and still searching for a cheap enough way to get the motherboard fixed. Thanks.

Bro , Neither I Force You To Flash My Rom nor it's not my mistake
( because you followed Wrong Instructions )
But I Still provide support to you
if its is hardware problem than i can't help you
but if it is because of rom than try this
according to me you doesn't replace boot.img with you stock rom
or you didn't follow patch instruction
i have both mediatek and sony device and already using mtk flash tool (sp flash tool ) and sony flashtool for flash stock rom
spflash tool (mtk flash tool)
generally use for mediatek devices to flash stock rom
sony flashtool is use for flashing .ftf of sony devices
now you have xperia c with mtk chip
Also WMshua perfect flash work for xperia c

Hey man sir Abhinandan, my apologies if I sounded grumpy and rude awhile back, it was just that I lost a phone quite valuable 'til my modding craves and tried without reading any of your patch guides first.
Turns out its a motherboard hardware problem already maybe coz I've corrupted the boot.img or something so I got a broken screen one same model for cheap and replaced the screen on that. Its working now but I'm skeptical of trying your rom again just because it has an unusual way of being flashed and I quite frankly lack experience with flashing.
I'm glad you helped in the end, I really tried contacting you via your fb and website pages too. I could use these guides and links for the future but for now I will be using stock rom.
Again further apologies if I showed any kind of offense to you Mr.Developer, I realized as an IT student I should respect my upperclassmen developers and professionals as I may be if I passed hopefully be called one of these days a Dev.
Thank you and keep up doing what you love with the tech community.

No problem, I've just prepare whole mod package for the Z3 Carbon Rom 6.1. Only thing you'll need to do is obey the instructions about the installation and test this package I prepared for Z3, tell me about which features works properly and which ones are crashed
