Hi every one
I tried to edit whatsapp by using apk editor pro to change emoji whatsapp
When I finished and install whatsapp a I'm try to enter my number to sign in the whatsapp appear message (this is not normally whatsapp go to our website and install new version)
What the solution please
Hi,
I want to mod Whatsapp on my own without using third party apps such as GBwhatsapp , Whatsapp plus, parallel space apk, appcloner apk...etc. I want to know how they do it.
What i Found
I tried using an android application that clones whatsapp and found there is two methods used:
1. Workspace Method: Parallel Space installs whatsapp in the root folder of the Parallel space application it self without changing in the code or any thing. There is several apps that do the same. ( I am not interested in this method)
2. Apk editing method: Appcloner apk, it clones whatsapp to a different name and allows modification to the app, but on one condition the original whatsapp version must be installed in order to verify the whatsapp number. (This is what i am trying to do manually) but i need to solve the problem where i dont need to install the original app in order to work(gbwhatsapp solved this problem but how?)
What i tried:
A.
I tried decompiling the whatsapp using (apktool, ApkEdit) then signing the app using zipsigner. The app gets installed but the problem is i cant get pass whatsapp verification number it gives an error and returns whatsapp to the first page:
"Something is wrong with your version of whatsapp. Please download the latest version from our website: https://whatsapp.com/android."
This is the error that i face and i want a fix for it.
B.
I used zipsigner on the original whatsapp apk file and signed the apk with new signiture then installed the app. I found that it gave the same error as above.
Conclusion:
Changing whatsapp apk signature prevents you from verifying the whatsapp number.
Can any one provide us with a fix how can we do this and mod our own version of whatsapp. I presume there is something to do with exposed since i found exposed modules in the decompiled folder for the cloned Whatsapp apk by appcloner and the apk gbwhatsapp.
Thanks

I know that it’s not easy and it needs patience and repetition, yeah never give up guys do it again and again until you get it ????
Thank you.
Two questions:
1: the older method (from that Spanish video) worked for me. And even though there are error messages the first time I open any Google app, simply turning off the notification will stop it from popping up again. So I've been doing that with no real issues. Does the new method bring any other benefit other than "no need to even mute the notification the first time"?
2: do you know the risk level of these methods? Like are we opening up a major hole in our phone or Google account for potential dangers? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am still paranoid about using my real Google account through these methods.

M still not clear, can some one explain again for Huawei Mate XS please!!
Even after installing mod2, last step - still notifications keep coming!
can someone else confirm this method works ? I tried and still get the error messages...
---------- Post added at 07:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:02 PM ----------
I watched Gatal video the part where he fast forwards is where I think I keep messing up how much time until the GSM framework re appears ?
The fast forward part is not just simply clicking on the screen, but he did unintall and reinstall the framework, Google play, clear cache, clear data.... Etc

I was able to get GSM fully working, without any error notifications popping up whatsoever.
This is what I did (trying to remember from memory)
DISCLAIMER: I take no responsibility on anything bad happening to your device, this worked for me but might
not work for you! Thank you for understanding, I'm just trying to help others here.
1. Download the LZPlay Backup from here:
https://wetransfer.com/downloads/2d...ff5f170d938bd334e98ba2ce20200330034834/8659bc
2. Move it to a memory stick and connect to your Mate XS through OTG
3. Go to Settings -> System -> Backup -> Huawei Backup -> External Storage -> Choose the USB storage and restore
4. Download and extract this file to e.g. root of your phone:
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mhS8tDhXf4AUtpfh9--8Dg8-MJgc_OKv
5. Install the Google Account Manager from the zip
6. Go to Settings -> Users and Accounts -> New Account -> Google. Follow the instructions and add your account
7. Install Google Frameworks from the zip
8. Install Device ID app, I used this:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/evozi...release/device-id-1-3-0-android-apk-download/
9. Using the App, check if there's anything on the Google Services Framework, if there is, uninstall Google Play Services
10. Install modagain1gsm.apk from the zip
11. Check the ID again using the Device ID add, and close all applications
12. Clear data + cache on Google Services Framework (you can try also uninstalling and reinstalling but my device froze
when I tried to do that)
13. Check ID again and close all applications
14. Uninstall Google Play Services (again, if your device freezes, try first clearing data+cache and force stopping it)
15. Install com.google.android.gms2.apk from the zip
16. Check the ID again
17. Reboot the device
Now after these procedures I was able to install Play Store APK and install all applications normally without any error
notifications popping up.
thanks drfroz ill give it another go tonight.. just to ask does Netflix, Hulu, work ? is there a benefit to keep trying vs just disabling notifications ?

How to activate Google Services on Huawei Mate 30 Pro?
Tutorial I. Link to the video tutorial by GATAL Gadged Digital https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivpNP7wFE9I&t=939s
Tutorial II. Link to the video tutorial by Imran : https://youtu.be/ZYhlr_BQGlw
Please see the video and the steps simultaneously and try to understand the steps and I wish you all the luck that you get it in the 1st attempt. ( I got it in the 4th attempt
Step 1 - Download LZPlay.rar and Google Applications from this link below : ( LINK UPDATED )
Step 2 - Extract the above files to your root directory / External USB drive / External SD Card .
Step 3 - The above step will create a folder named Huawei LZPlay and inside there is a folder "Huawei" and further into that, all the back up files required.
Step 4 - Restore Back-Up : Go to settings > On the search bar on the top type in Restore > USB Drive > You should get the file " Mate 30 Pro ( Dated - March,7 2020 ) > Click and Restore
Problem : Please note that you might encounter a possible error where some users may not find the back up file being detected while restoration process because the Huawei Back-Up file cannot be read unless not placed in the root directory.
( SEE VIDEO I @ 2:49 WHERE THE CREATOR IS MENTIONING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM )
Solution - Go to root directory / USB Drive > Huawei LZPlay > Copy the Huawei Folder outside in your root directory. In other words, remove it from the Huawei LZPlay folder and paste in USB Drive / Internal Storage (if you do not have access to an OTG Drive ) and then go to settings and try to restore the back up, it will show )
Step 5 - When done, Go to your app drawer, Click on the Chinese G - Icon which you have restored from the LZPlay.rar Back Up File in step 4.
Allow Permissions > Activate > Back to Home Screen > Close All Applications in Background > Open G - Icon App Again > Press the Blue Button Below > The List Starts Circling > ( See video for more clarity ) (SEE VIDEO @ 4:40 )
Step 6 - Now minimize this app and go to Files > USB Drive > Google Installation > Google Installation and You will see files numbered (1-9) .
Please install 1 to 6 one by one as shown in video. Do not open any of the applications. Just install them. ( SEE VIDEO @ 5:19)
Step 7 - Once Installation for apps 1 to 6 done, close all background applications. Now go to G Icon App again and press the blue button below and minimize.
Step 8 - Google Account Sign- in : After Step 9, Go to Phone Settings > User and Accounts > Add Account > Google > Add an existing.
Loading screen for adding new account for 30 secs notification will appear > Add as many accounts you wish to now as you can't add anymore later. ( SEE VIDEO @ 6:45 )
Step 9 - After your account is added successfully, CLEAR BACKGROUND APPS AND THEN GO to File > USB drive > Google Installation > Google Installation > and install Google Services Framework from Google Installation folder in your External USB Drive / SD Card ( File 7 ) ( SEE VIDEO @ 10:00 )
Step 10 - As soon as you install, within a few minutes you start getting annoying pop up notifications ( SEE VIDEO @ 10:35) which is very normal so ignore that and move on with the next steps. You may see in the background that your Play Store is getting updated - Let it update - If it's not updating - No problem. ( Please give this process atleast 5 mins with patience or else you might have to do the whole thing again )
Step 11 - Now open Play Store > Download an app Device ID ( By VTechno ) ( SEE VIDEO @ 11:40 )
Step 12 - Once installed, CLEAR BACKGROUND APPS AND THEN Open Device ID app and Grant Permission > ALLOW . NOW, You will see your unique GSF-ID in the second row under Android Device ID . ( Just for your information ) ( SEE VIDEO @ 12:10 )
Step 13 - Now go to Phone Settings > Apps > and search for "Google Play Services and Uninstall it". ( SEE VIDEO @ 12:58 )
Step 14 - Now go to Files > USB Drive > Google Installations > Google Installations > Install GMS Core Mod 1 ( SEE VIDEO @ 13:38)
POP-UP Notifications will still keep coming. DONT WORRY. We are almost there !
Step 15 - Go Back to your home screen after installation and go to Device ID . You will see the GSF ID is still there. So now its time to make it dissappear
Step : 16 - Go to Settings > Apps > On the top right, click on the three dots and enable " Show system processes " > Search for Google Services Framework > Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data
Step 17- Now Open Device ID - You see your GSF ID must dissappear . ( SEE VIDEO @ 14:37 )
Step 18 - CLEAR BACKGROUND APPS AND Now Open Playstore > Wait for 3-5 minutes and you will get an error in Play Store. If not, then close Playstore again > Open Device ID > Then Open Playstore again > Wait for error > Like Seriously HOLD ON .( YOu might have to repeat this 2/3 times )
*********** MOST IMPORTANT STEPS*************
Step 19 - NOW IF YOU GOT THE ERROR SUCCESSFULLY ON THE PLAYSTORE APP, ITS TIME TO WAIT FOR YOUR GSF-ID TO SHOW AGAIN IN THE DEVICE ID APP. THEREFORE, OPEN DEVICE ID - CHECK - IF NO GSF ID STILL - OPEN PLAYSTORE - CLICK "RETRY" ON ERROR MESSAGE > GO BACK TO HOME SCREEN AND CLEAR ALL BACKGROUND APPS > OPEN DEVICE ID - CHECK AGAIN - AND REPEAT THE ABOVE .
Explanation to Step 19 - What we are actually doing in the above step is that we purposely cleared the cache and data from Google Services Framework in Step 18 so that the GSF-ID dissappears and Play Store stops working and gives us error message (to fix the pop up notifications ) and then we wait for the Google Services Framework to reboot and fix itself in the background and collect new data. That is why we keep closing and opening both apps. However, you need to remember, you always open Device ID first > then Playstore > Click Retry > Close all from background and then repeat until you see the GSF-ID again ! :fingers-crossed:
Step 20 - Once it does, your Playstore will start working and you will notice that the "ANNOYING POP UP NOTIFICATIONS" are gone ! Take your time and open Playstore and see if notifications pop up.
PLEASE NOTE : IT SHOULD NOT SHOW POP UP ERRORS ANYMORE . IF IT DOES, YOU MESSED UP STEP 18 BUT First Uninstall Google Services Framework and then install it again from USB Drive and Repeat Step 19
IF EVERYTHING GOES WELL AND NOTIFICATIONS GONE, FOLLOW THESE STEPS NEXT
Step 21 - Now close the apps and clear background apps and go to Settings > Apps > Search for Google Play Services ( Not Playstore ) > Uninstall It.
Step 22 - Now go to USB Drive > Google Installations > Install File 9 ( Play services MOD 2 and restart your device without opening the playstore ) <----- Do this only if your pop up notifications stopped.
[B Congratulations ! We have now successfully completed all the steps ! ENJOY ! Install and test all google apps you want except Google Play Movies which has been disabled.

If you tried this method, then everything should work perfectly fine except Google Play Movies.
Google location works
Google Maps work fine and flawlessly
Google Play Video Works ( Play Movies & TV - if that's what you mean, works fine )
Google Pay Works ( I'm not sure because we don't use it my country )
Netflix ( Newest version doesn't but a earlier version works )
No you cannot delete Accounts Manager App
NO you cannot update Google Play Services through Playstore.
Once this method has been done, then you can update and use all Google Applications on Playstore like normal.
Google Voice Match doesn't work also...

Yes uninstall everything ( Google Services Apps ) not your personal apps . Also the LZPlay app and give it a try.
Remember to carefully read and watch the video and go through it . You will make it.
Just install Push Notification Tester to test if your push notification works.
Works the gmail notofications with this methode?

Step 7 - When done, Go to your app drawer, Click on the Chinese G - Icon which you have restored from the LZPlay Back Up File in step 4.
Allow Permissions > Activate > Back to Home Screen > Close All Applications in Background > Open G - Icon App Again > Press the Blue Button Below > The List Starts Circling > ( See video for more clarity ) (SEE VIDEO @ 4:40 )
Step 8 - Now minimize this app and go to Files > USB Drive > Google Installation > Google Installation and You will see files numbered (1-9) .
Please install 1 to 6 one by one as shown in video. Do not open any of the applications. Just install them. ( SEE VIDEO @ 5:19)
Step 9 - Once Installation for apps 1 to 6 done, close all background applications. Now go to G Icon App again and press the blue button below and minimize.
Step 10 - Google Account Sign- in : After Step 9, Go to Phone Settings > User and Accounts > Add Account > Google > Add an existing.
Loading screen for adding new account for 30 secs notification will appear > Add as many accounts you wish to now as you can't add anymore later. ( SEE VIDEO @ 6:45 )
Step 11 - After your account is added successfully, CLEAR BACKGROUND APPS AND THEN GO to File > USB drive > Google Installation > Google Installation > and install Google Services Framework from Google Installation folder in your External USB Drive / SD Card ( File 7 ) ( SEE VIDEO @ 10:00 )
Step 12 - As soon as you install, within a few minutes you start getting annoying pop up notifications ( SEE VIDEO @ 10:35) which is very normal so ignore that and move on with the next steps. You may see in the background that your Play Store is getting updated - Let it update - If it's not updating - No problem. ( Please give this process atleast 5 mins with patience or else you might have to do the whole thing again )
Step 13 - Now open Play Store > Download an app Device ID ( By VTechno ) ( SEE VIDEO @ 11:40 )
Step 14 - Once installed, CLEAR BACKGROUND APPS AND THEN Open Device ID app and Grant Permission > ALLOW . NOW, You will see your unique GSF-ID in the second row under Android Device ID . ( Just for your information ) ( SEE VIDEO @ 12:10 )
Step 15 - Now go to Phone Settings > Apps > and search for "Google Play Services and Uninstall it". ( SEE VIDEO @ 12:58 )
Step 16 - Now go to Files > USB Drive > Google Installations > Google Installations > Install GMS Core Mod 1 ( SEE VIDEO @ 13:38)
POP-UP Notifications will still keep coming. DONT WORRY. We are almost there ! [emoji23]
Step 17 - Go Back to your home screen after installation and go to Device ID . You will see the GSF ID is still there. So now its time to make it dissappear
Step : 18 - Go to Settings > Apps > On the top right, click on the three dots and enable " Show system processes " > Search for Google Services Framework > Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data
Step 19 - Now Open Device ID - You see your GSF ID must dissappear . ( SEE VIDEO @ 14:37 )
Step 20 - CLEAR BACKGROUND APPS AND Now Open Playstore > Wait for 3-5 minutes and you will get an error in Play Store. If not, then close Playstore again > Open Device ID > Then Open Playstore again > Wait for error > Like Seriously HOLD ON .( YOu might have to repeat this 2/3 times )
*********** MOST IMPORTANT STEPS*************
Step 21 - NOW IF YOU GOT THE ERROR SUCCESSFULLY ON THE PLAYSTORE APP, ITS TIME TO WAIT FOR YOUR GSF-ID TO SHOW AGAIN IN THE DEVICE ID APP.
Explanation to Step 21 - What we are actually doing in the above step is that we purposely cleared the cache and data from Google Services Framework in Step 18 so that the GSF-ID dissappears and Play Store stops working and gives us error message (to fix the pop up notifications ) and then we wait for the Google Services Framework to reboot and fix itself in the background and collect new data. That is why we keep closing and opening both apps. However, you need to remember, you always open Device ID first > then Playstore > Click Retry > Close all from background and then repeat until you see the GSF-ID again ! :fingers-crossed:
Step 22 - Once it does, your Playstore will start working and you will notice that the "ANNOYING POP UP NOTIFICATIONS" are gone ! Take your time and open Playstore and see if notifications pop up.
PLEASE NOTE : IT SHOULD NOT SHOW POP UP ERRORS ANYMORE . IF IT DOES, YOU MESSED UP STEP 18 BUT First Uninstall Google Services Framework and then install it again from USB Drive and Repeat Step 21
IF EVERYTHING GOES WELL AND NOTIFICATIONS GONE, FOLLOW THESE STEPS NEXT
Step 23 - Now close the apps and clear background apps and go to Settings > Apps > Search for Google Play Services ( Not Playstore ) > Uninstall It.
Step 24 - Now go to USB Drive > Google Installations > Install File 9 ( Play services MOD 2) <----- Do this only if your pop up notifications stopped.
Step 25 - Congratulations ! We have now successfully completed all the steps ! ENJOY ! Install and test all google apps you want except Google Play Movies which has been disabled.

Step 4. You should be able to restore with HiSuite. The other folders can be on the root of your internal storage. I.E. the Google folder with the apk files inside. You can install the apks from within the files app or another file explorer app.
hi after completing the steps, i kept getting "this device isn't play protected". any solutions?

Nope. Push notification on my Gmail and Outlook do not work unless I open the app and fetch the mail by oulling it up manually. I think most of social media app and instant messaging are working with or without GMS.
it won't find restore file ( on hisuite

I think it seems that you are unsucesfully doing that. You can restart again from the beginning. That message indicates that it is failed.

You can copy "Huawei" folder containing four different sub folder into your internal device. Copy and replace the old file. After that open Backup app in your device. The rest will be just following the steps above.
