Battery 0% and Bricked Phone - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i've got a Moto G X1032 rooted bootloader unlocked and it got stuck on boot( my phone is stuck on motorola logo) after trying to stall a Overclock Kernel
My battery is at 0%
and there's something i dont understand on your topic ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1549625 )
''While in the ap fastboot screen with the low battery problem, just push & hold Vol - and Vol+ and power buttons at the same time for 10 seconds
-Then IMMEDIATELY press and hold Vol - and Vol+ for 10 seconds to get back to the boot menu.''
#Should i drop/release these three buttons( vol - and vol + and power ) then immediately press them again or just drop/release the power button?
And..
@ if i let my phone CHARGING it will stuck at 0% and after about 10 minutes it will turn on/boot automatically
@ i have already tried the factory cable but it didnt work for me
@ i also tried using the adb but it says Battery Low problem
@ rsd lite didnt recognized my phone even with the motorola drivers already installed
@ Using my phone on a laptop, when i enter the fastboot mode it shows ''battery low (charging). But using the outled/wall charger it shows only ''battery low'' but it makes noise if i remove it
battery isnt removable, help me out please

Ok, wait, it's easy:
Your battery is 0% but you can still access the bootloader? Well, you have to:
1) put the phone in charge using the usb cable
2) check through the bootloader if it's being charged
3) if yes, turn off the phone
4) leave it in charge for 2-3 hours (at least)
5) turn it on and you should see "battery OK" status
6) now you can flash the stock firmware or something else to unbrick
only if this doesn't work you could think your battery is gone and you have to replace it (yep is replaceable).

Annoying issue with gt_p3113

Ok here is the deal..this tablet is about to erck me..as you can see its unplugged, 4 days and 3 chargers later I finally got it to boot up, now I have tried holding vol up plus power to goto either recovery/download mode..but nada. .refuses to go...when I hold down vol down plus power it only boots to safe mode. .pc doesn't recognize it at all..have tried several drivers. .turned on..turn off and nothing..what I want to do is try to get it in download mode so I can reflash it so hopefully it works properly. .also I get that annoying red X over battery when power on...any help would greatly be appreciated
Update. ..
OK I got it to charge at 100% even with the red X on the battery drained it at the way down plugged it to the wall and let at charge again to 100%. Any possible solutions to getting rid of the red X or getting it to boot in download mode?
Update #2 I plugged the tablet into the laptop for a few hrs while it was turned off, when I turned the tablet on the laptop finally picked it up and installed the necessary drivers...with that being said is there any way to force boot the tablet into odin/download mode via the laptop?

The tab should hit ODIN download mode when you hold the power button and the volume up (closest to the SD card access) key for 10 seconds. If not, download the ADB drivers from the Android SDK and see if you can issue a adb force reboot command to try and get it into recovery mode.
Can you point me in the right direction for using adb?
Hey nick I have adb installed if I type adb reboot - bootloader it only reboots the device back to the home screen .. any commands to try out to force it to download mode?
Adb reboot download brought the tablet ro a screen that says
Downloading. ...
Do not turn off target!!
I was able to then load odin and it's currently flashing everything back to normal
Yes, tablet differ, my tab 2 is first press right side of volume up for download mode (yours can be the left side), then after 2 sec press en hold simultaneously the power button until it asks if you want to continue to download mode. Release buttons and press other side of volume key to enter download mode. Than I would use odin to install recovery (TWR/CWM).

[Q] htc one s in CWM bootloop cant enter bootloader

phone :
htc one s
rooted
cyanogenmod
CWM recovery v6.0.5.1
so the story is :
i forgot to charge my phone last night and it ran out of battery and died. when i plug it into charger or PC, it immediately boots into CWM without pressing anything and wont enter anything else. it also doesnt seem to charge in CWM and when i try to power it off, it simply goes into CWM again. simply put, i cant turn it off or charge it. phone was working perfectily fine before.
what i'm trying to do now is trying to boot it into bootloader and try to charge with fastboot script (i did it before) so i can get enough voltage to boot it into the OS. but the phone refuses to enter bootloader by any means and simply goes back into CWM.
tried holding the vol down + power button for 10 secs till it restarts, release power and hold it again while keeping the vol down pressed. but it still enter CWM (usually this is what i do to enter bootloader)
i cant restart to bootloader from CWM either (any buttons to power off, restart, boot to anywhere from CWM simply brings it back to CWM)
holding only the power button till it restarts also brings it back to CWM.
holding the vol down + power button without releasing them simply gives me screen flicker and it loops that way. i assume that made the phone soft reset repeatedly?
holding the vol down + power and releasing power once it resets and tapping power also brings it back to CWM.
here's a simple video showing the phone : youtu.be/PDvskMZIHAM
any help would be appreciated. thanks.
solved : as i noticed that the phone charging led turns on whenever i hold the power button. i tried holding the power button for god knows how long while plugged in. i released it once my finger was tired and cant hold it anymore and it boots into cyanogenmod.

Honor 8 (L19) stuck and logo, can't reboot, can't enter (e)Recovery

Hi,
After a wrong(?) update of stock ROM, the phone stuck at logo. I can switch if off, but when try switch on into recovery (Vol- + On) LED blinks and symbol of empty battery shows on the screen.
When I attach a charger, after some time the phones start up ... then hangs on the logo.
Any idea how to reset/update/recover?......

Anybody? Help...
Try this if you have unlocked bootloader and frp unlock
1. First connect it charger and leave it for 30 min
2. Now connect phone to pc and long press power button until screen shuts off. Quickly hold vol- button. Now you will be in fastboot.
3. Flash appropriate twrp recovery in fastboot.
4. Now use huru updater method for firmware flash. (search in google)
But if none of this thing works and if you are still in warranty then take it to customer care

Fast Boot Loop in "...Use The Emergency Recovery Function..." screen!

Hello everyone,
I was trying to flash a firmware into my Samsung Galaxy J4+ (SM-J415FN) using Odin3. While the Odin3 was flashing the firmware, electricity got cut off and the PC went off.
The phone showed a screen: "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC Software".
When the electricity came back on, I connected my phone to the PC, and the phone started boot looping in the same screen. When I remove the plug, it stays off. Once I reconnect the plug, it starts boot looping. If I press POWER DOWN + UP at the same time while it is turning on (in order to go to DOWNLOAD MODE), it works, but once I press the VOLUME UP to CONTINUE, it shows the DOWNLOAD screen, stay there for a couple seconds, and then start looping again.
What can I do? Please, I really need to solve this.

Not necessary.
The battery has become depleted.
Boot to the download mode confirmation screen with the USB cable attached to PC. Do NOT select up to go to DOWNLOAD mode.
Leave in this state for a good few hours, may even need overnight.
This is to get some charge into the device, albeit slowly.
After a few hours try and swap to the mains charger. Hopefully the device will not turn off. If it stays on leave the mains charger connected for a while then press up to go to DOWNLOAD mode.

Not download mode. The download mode confirmation screen.
It's worked for several others with the same problem, plus I've tested it myself.

Hi, i've fixed this charging the phone not in confirmation screen but in the screen with serial number and imei (volume up+volume down+power button, and plug the usb cable, then release the button slowly)
If the phone reboots release the volume up first, then the volume down and then the power button.
Now you leave it charging and then reboot in download mode and flash rom with odin.
Let me know if you fixed it!

If i plug it in pc, got bootloop in confirmation screen, enter download mode, imei screen.
Last hope is plug it in charger, press Vol Up + Vol Down + Plug cable to charger (i leave it in confirmation screen don't press Vol Up or Down).
After an hours i take it out and plug it in pc, press Vol Up to enter Download mode and voila it didn't reboot so i just flash it with Odin.
I'm in bootloop as well, and for some reason, even when on 'enter download mode' confirmation page, the device turns off 30secs later. Same behaviour when I go on the page with IMEI, but there the device stays powered on longer (a minute or so). All while the device is plugged into my PC. Any help?

Not able to get into EDL or Fastboot

Hi Everyone,
Recently I have unlocked the bootloader and flashed twrp after upgrading to OOS 13 after that I have not able to access any storage(including OTG) so I had changed the format of disk. Now its stuck is bootloader and show qualcomm icon when starting and just keep on trying to boot(stuck at logo not a loop or anything). I am not able to get into the EDL mode or fastboot for that matter any suggestions
Video is uploaded to show the icon it continues to normal oneplus logo boot and stays there
can you hold vol - and power with it unplugged until the screen goes black, then fast as lightning hold both volumes and plug it in? I used to have this device and I'm trying to remember what I did to get out of that.
I had always waited till the phone got discharged and then tried again EDL used to work when I had the flashboot but now it not a possibility it resumes into the unlocked bootloader alert (sometimes press power to pause or continue to boot) and then logo not matter which combo of the buttons I tried
If nothing works you can always take the back off and unplug the battery.
Doesn't discharging the phone will also do the same or are you suggesting me to go into edl by removing battery cover and plugging in like the old mediatek recovery method
Have you tried unplugging the device, using volume up and power to fully shut off the device, then wait a second, and switch to volume up and down, while plugging in? Important to keep it unplugged until going into EDL.
It's already fully shutoff when I discharge it to recover from the boot animation. The keys combo don't work at only power button work to continue or pause boot
