I have a problem with a chinese dual sim it's a STAR B97 MTK 6575... AFTER A FACTORY RESET , i got a invalid imei.
The problem that I have with your first solution is that after I type the code for the Engineer Mode, in all of those options I dont have "CDS information"... ergo, I cant do nothing.. What do you advise next? p.s. how do I flash my phone stock firmware?

which version of android are u using......???
check again to see anything related to radio information.....

I have the new X920 (butterfly clone) MTK6589, and I have this invalid IMEI issue. I can manually get this fixed through your guide entering the engineer's mode. But everytime I reset to factory settings, the invalid imei error comes up. Is there a way to fix this permanently?

i'm also suffering with the same problem but i did not find any perm sol.
i think
it can be done if you have any previous backups of data partition before the invalid imei problem occured.

i have a mtk 6577 youpu U6 which has 4.1.1 JB, i factory reset my phone and lost the imei number and i have tried restoring it with titanium bk up but no luck iv tried using the mkt engineer tool to restore my imei and after the reboot it still says invalid imei. also i have the option of going into the CDS and radio and typing in the imei manually however when i hit the send command button it tells me on the screen command no sent iv been trying for 4 days to get my imei number back can you help?

it is okey to use other backup with the same phone and restore it in the phone with invalid imei?
Some one please help me, actually I was flashing jelly bean rom using SP Tool but I formatted the whole rom, rom was successfully flashed but problem is that my device showing Invalid IMEI and NVRAM error, I used temporary method to solve these issues but I want permanent solution of this problem because every time I flash rom same problem occur again and again. So any one can help me would be greatful .

i recently flashed a rom on micromax canvas 2 plus and the baseband went unknown and imei no. was lost . now i can't do anything about it . i have flashed stock rom many times. went into mtk engineering mode but when clicked the send command option , it gave me an error "can't send

Im installed a custom rom (CM13 6.0) For My Galaxy J7 (SM-J700F) After that my IMEI had changed and i can't use my netword and calls again .
how i restore my old IMEI again ?!
I think if you flash the stock rom your old imei will be back
If possible Plz Find another J7 which have custom recovery and backup his efs than put it folder from his phone to ur phone In backup folder than restore it...

Hi I'm using the Galaxy J700H phone its like 2mos old, and have the exact same problem, so please can someone help? My problem is, I think also is my IMEI number? When i dialed *#06# on my phone my IMEI is 350000000006 and FTW that's not even my IMEI anymore, I have the original IMEI number here backed up but i tried everything, step by step. But sadly nothing worked out. I used this sim card in all of my phones and lastly when i wiped out my phone and flashed custom rom in it, then this happened, then i decided to flash the stock rom that has been downloaded from the sammbobile.com website, after that nothing happened. My phone always displays EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY.. pls help
